Yasser Arafat was the former leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and is known by some as the “father of modern terrorism.” Under Arafat, the goal of the PLO was the violent destruction of Israel.

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On March 8, 2019, Ottallah tweeted: “AH THIS IS THE DUMBEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN!! The media has managed to twist Ihan Omar’s perspective and make her look like a monster for calling out a state that actively partakes in an apartheid and genocide!!! And imagine accepting a radical regime like Zionism b/c of friends!”

Ilhan Omar was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2018. In February 2019, top Congressional leaders denounced Omar for tweeting anti-Semitic remarks.Omar has demonized Israel and endorsed BDS. In July 2019, Omar introduced a pro-BDS resolution in the U.S. Congress, which she described as “an opportunity for us to explain why it is we support…the BDS movement.”

On February 3, 2019, Ottallah tweeted: “‘If the quiet is not maintained in Gaza..’ ?? According to the UN, Gaza could be uninhabitable by next year. Israel has isolated these people and prevented them from accessing resources by land or sea. Now Netanyahu is building a f**king fence around them. This is a mass genocide.”

On January 4, 2018, Ottallah tweeted: “Imagine being a Jewish African and traveling all the way to Israel, longing to see the Jewish state that is meant to be a safe haven for your people, only to be exiled once again. As Palestinians it is our duty to recognize this event and bring light to the fact that apartheid and genocide has occurred in our home for much too long. I pray that God protects my people, and gives us strength to fight our oppressors.”

On the same day, Ottallah tweeted: “One time I retweeted a picture of Israeli flags being burned in Iran. People got upset, perhaps because it was done by Muslims. Now here’s a picture of actual Orthodox Jews burning the Israeli flag. True believers know that Israel is a sham.”

On December 17, 2017, Ottallah tweeted: “By submitting and claiming that no matter what we do Israel will have the upper hand, you're letting the oppressors take over.. and you're letting them win. SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
