Riad Abboud

Overview

Riad Abboud [Mohamad Riad Abboud] has expressed violent hatred of Zionists, called for death to Israel and spread hatred of America and Israel. Abboud is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of June 2022, Abboud’s tweets indicated that his “life long dream” was to work as an “emergency doctor.”

As of June 2022, Abboud's Clubhouse bio said he was a “Psych [Psychology] Pre-Med student,” a “Behavioral Therapist” and an “emergency department intern.” The bio also said he aspired “to work as a psychiatrist or emergency physician.”

As of the same date, Abboud was listed as a Behavior Technician, National Provider Identifier (NPI) number 1649858945 in Pasadena, California. 

As of the same date, the provided practice location address listed for Abboud by the NPI corresponded to that of Autism Learning Partners located at 1055 East Colorado Boulevard, Suite 560, in Pasadena.

In October 2021, Abboud tweeted that he was working in "emergency" and also at a job in “therapy”. In April 2021, Abboud tweeted that he would be transferring from Emergency to working in Neonatal ICU [Intensive Care Unit]. 

As of June 2022, Abboud’s Twitter bio said he was pre-med. In June 2021, Abboud tweeted that he’d taken enough courses for “degrees in psych, bio and sociology.”

Also as of June 2022, Abboud’s LinkedIn page said he graduated from Norco College (Norco) in 2018. 

Abboud has also owned his own business “God of Rugs” making and selling rugs since November 2020.

As of January 2022, Abboud indicated on Twitter that he was located in Los Angeles, California.

As of June 2022, Abboud used the handle “rihodd” and screen name “riad” on Twitter.

Violent Hatred of Zionists

On June 16, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “zionist israelis deserve to rot until they perish & then suffer in the afterlife.”

On May 21, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “f**k israel, may all zionists rot.”

On May 15, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “i hope all zionists suffer until their final moments in life.” In the same thread, Abboud continued “and then suffer even more.”

On May 11, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “i hope all z*onists suffer until their last breath, no mercy.”

On the same date, Abboud tweeted: “you support genocide, i hope you cease to exist.” Abboud’s tweet was in response to a tweet by American politician Andrew Yang that said: “I'm standing with the people of Israel who are coming under bombardment attacks, and condemn the Hamas terrorists…”

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

On August 12, 2020, Abboud tweeted: “F**K israel, F**K ZIONISTS.”

Calling for Death to Israel

On May 15, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “death to israel, free palestine.”

On May 8, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “israel will be abolished & palestine will thrive.”

On August 5, 2020, Abboud tweeted: “all i want is to witness the fall of isr*el in my lifetime, thats all i want.”

Hatred of America 

On November 19, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “i literally hate the united states with every fiber of my being.”

On May 11, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “the US has been funding the genocide of palestinians for years…”

On September 30, 2020, Abboud tweeted: “cant wait to move to japan, so i never have to deal with the stress of living in ameriKKKa.”

The term “Amerikkka” uses the initials of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) as a way to demonize America as “fascist or racist.”  

On August 6, 2020, Abboud tweeted: “f**k america, all my homies hate america.”

Hatred of Israel

On May 22, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “good morning to everyone who hates the zionist state of israel :)”

On May 16, 2021, Abboud tweeted photos from a May 15, 2021 anti-Israel protest he attended in Los Angeles. 

The protest titled: “LA [Los Angeles] NAKBA 73 Rally & Protest” was organized by anti-Israel groups, including American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) as well as the U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN) and Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), to commemorate the Nakba and protest OGW.

The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.

Also, on May 16, 2021, Abboud tweeted: “goodnight to everyone who hates israel, love you.”

On May 11, 2021, during OGW, Abboud tweeted: “...israel is committing war crimes and terrorism.”

On the same date, Abboud tweeted: “whats happening in palestine is not a conflict, its completely one sided, israel can use violence but palestine cannot, its mass genocide.”

On August 17, 2020, Abboud tweeted: “oh my god i f**cking hate isr*el.”
