Renee Ge

Renee Ge participated in an anti-Israel event at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in December 2023. The event's organizers called for Israel's destruction.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

As of May 2025, Renee Ge’s LinkedIn profile said she was studying computer science/cognitive science and literature at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), slated to graduate in 2025.

At the December 12, 2023 rally, which was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, Renee Ge held a sign that said: "Free Free Palestine. All Eyes on MIT!! When They Should Be On Gaza!!!"

“Free Palestine” is a chant that has been described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.” In May 2025, two Israeli diplomats in Washington, D.C., were murdered by a gunman shouting “Free Palestine!” In June 2025, one pro-Israel activist was killed and over 25 were injured in Boulder, Colorado, when a man yelling “Free Palestine” firebombed them.

The MIT Coalition for Palestine (MIT C4P) post promoting the event said: "When we return next semester, we will be even stronger and even bigger to make sure that there will be no business as usual at MIT until Palestine is free! From the river to the sea 🇵🇸✊💪🇵🇸"

“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!” is a chant used [00:02:52] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel.

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
