Razan Tabel

Overview

Razan Tabel has promoted violent hatred of Jews and Israel on Twitter, for years. Tabel has mocked the gassing of Jews in the Holocaust, trivialized the Holocaust and demonized Israel on social media. She has also spread homophobic comments.

Tabel served as the secretary for the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB) during 2015.

Tabel has attempted to mask her hatred of Jews as hatred of "Zionism." While, in 2013, Tabel explicitly denied that she hated Jews, Tabel’s tweets from 2015 and 2016 continued to reveal her profound hatred of Jews.

For example, on April 24, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@TomTyler12 @wilnoprince93 and no I wasn't. I love Jews. Just not Zionism." Also on April 24, 2013, Tabel tweeted: “@BlackJewEgg it absolutely does not. You can call me a Jew hater when I say myself in my own words that I hate Jews. Which I do not.”

However, on November 25, 2015, in reaction to someone telling her to "go to Jordan," Tabel responded: “@mattyklein go kill some Jews in Germany!” Later that evening, Tabel tweeted to the same person: “@mattyklein wrong. Politics. Islam never told me to hate Jews. I chose to's.”

Tabel is a student at CSUSB, majoring in Political Science and Business.

On April 11, 2016, referring to presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, Tabel tweeted: "@bazbazMO I don't believe Bernie is any better. I feel like he can just con people better. I mean, he is Jewish."

On October 9, 2014, Tabel tweeted: "@MuhabZBennana thank god I'm not Jewish. Couldn't live with that much blood on my hands."

On September 27, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@Fat_K411: If you think I make fun of yahood [Jews] too much well, too bad. If you can take a country you can take a joke’ #damn."

On July 10, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@HustlinRed Starbucks is the biggest one. Which is untrue. You never know though, Jews control everything."

Trivializing The Holocaust

On October 13, 2015, Tabel tweeted: "I used to feel bad about the holocaust. But now I don't. Not even a little bit." After being challenged by another Twitter user Tabel tweeted: “@motionsailor they're using the holocaust to justify their murderous crimes.” Tabel added: “That's why they say ‘never again’. And then go and do it to someone else.”

On May 1, 2013, Tabel tweeted a photo of the planet Jupiter and Adolf Hitler with the caption: "A gas planet? We’ll call it Jewpitter." Tabel commented on the tweet: “LMFAO!!! ''

On April 29, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@wilnoprince93 Wikipedia could be edited by anyone. It's not a reliable source. I know. It's pathetic. Lets rewrite the holocausts history!" Tabel continued: “@wilnoprince93 HAHA! That's true xD people who actually study the holocaust find the numbers to be so off.”

On April 2, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@utopianprince78 @yaraaaaa the holocaust absolutely did happen, but like I said, the numbers were over exaggerated." Tabel added: “@utopianprince78 @yaraaaaa I did NOT deny the holocaust. By ‘fabricated’ I meant the numbers were exaggerated, not that it never happened.”

On March 17, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@utopianprince78 @_yaraaaaa the whole holocaust lasted 6 million seconds. I refuse to believe 6 million died. Even if, there no reason to."

Spreading Anti-Zionist Conspiracy Theories

On August 28, 2016, Tabel claimed European Jews were "fake," tweeting: “Do any of you guys know where I can get a DNA test? Just so I can have on paper that Palestine belongs to me and not those European Jews.” She added: “And then I can wave that paper claiming my Semitic roots in the faces of those fake Jews at the Jisr.”

On March 4, 2016, Tabel tweeted: "How often do you hear about Palestinian Muslim-Christian disputes?Never? Okay stfu. Our Christians are SAFE with us. Not these fake ass Jews."

On March 17, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "@_Yaraaaaa Israelis don't exist. They're all European. Not even true Semites. The TRUE Semites are the Palestinian Jews."

On August 24, 2013, Tabel tweeted: "The white Jews can go back to Europe and the Arab Jews can go and betray their own Arab countries instead of ours.

Demonizing Israel

On May 5, 2013, Tabel tweeted: @venki8th America is it's own state. They had a choice and their choice was the genocide of the Palestinians for a JEWISH ONLY state."

On the same day, Tabel tweeted: "@venki8th they were the ones who were attacked!! Out of nowhere. Israel needs to make up for their genocides. Not Palestine."

On January 20, 2017, Tabel tweeted: "Only negative thing is now I know I can hate someone more than I hate Zionists and ISIS combined. Yikes."

On November 24, 2016, as fires raged across northern and central Israel displacing tens of thousands, Tabel tweeted: "Gonna sleep extra good tonight knowing that the Satanic state of Israel is burning ”

On October 12, 2015, Tabel tweeted: "And if you support Israel you are just as disgusting. Filth is all you are."

On February 5, 2015, Tabel tweeted photos of her removing an Israeli flag from a display board and stamping it into a trash can. She wrote: "What is the meaning of this khara [s**t]?" On the photo of the flag in the garbage Tabel wrote: “where it belongs.”

MSA

The MSA was  established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations." 

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
