Razaali Bahadur

Overview

Razaali Bahadur [Razaali Awan Bahadur] is a convicted sex offender who was arrested and charged with “public incitement of hatred” for making “antisemitic statements towards children and demonstrators” during an April 2024 anti-Israel counterprotest he participated in.

Bahadur has also spread hatred of Israel and engaged in anti-Israel activism.

In 2024, Bahadur engaged in activism with the anti-Israel group Palesign, which was registered as a non-profit organization in November 2023. Palesign has promoted anti-Semitism and held anti-Israel protests outside synagogues. Bahadur’s brother, Naveen Bahadur, is an organizer with Palesign.

Bahadur’s activism took place in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023. The attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

As of April 2024, Bahadur’s Instagram bio said he was an “Automotive Mobile Car 🚗 Detailer 🧼 / Painter 🎨/ Gardiner [sic] 🌼.”

Also as of April 2024, Bahadur was reportedly located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As of the same date, Bahadur went by the username “Cherry” and used the handle “@poompy_fresh_detailing” on one Instagram account. He went by the username “Raza AKA 🍒 AKA Poompy” and used the handle “@mobile_detailing_spa” on a second Instagram account.

4/11/2024 - Arrested and Charged with Incitement of Hatred

On April 11, 2024, Bahadur was reportedly arrested and charged with “Public Incitement of Hatred and Fail [sic] to Comply Probation Order” for making “antisemitic statements towards children and demonstrators” at an April 7, 2024, anti-Israel counterprotest that was organized by Palesign.

On April 7, 2024, Bahadur verbally assaulted participants in a pro-Israel rally who were calling for the release of over 130 hostages captured by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023.

At the rally, Bahadur shouted [00:00:05] into a megaphone at the pro-Israel demonstrators: “Your happy days are over. Any time you come out to celebrate we’ll be here to put a frown on your smile...You guys are known as the prophet killers...To the kids out here, ask your parents what you guys did to Jesus. Ask them what you did to Moses. Look at this filth right here. Filth! Filth!”

Bahadur further said [00:00:13]: “It’s so wonderful to see all the little kids here. To all the little boys and girls: Ask your parents…to give you a history lesson about how they raped and murdered children.”

Bahadur continued [00:00:32]: “Ask your parents about the land of Khazar…You guys are not from Israel…You guys all originated from Khazar…You had no religion, you are not Judaism…You guys crawled out of there. Tell them to crawl back in. That’s where you belong.”

One method anti-Israel activists use to spread anti-Semitism and deny Israel’s legitimacy is to claim that Jews are not indigenous to the Land of Israel. The claim takes multiple forms, including the “Khazar myth” which alleges that Ashkenazi Jews are ethnically European and are not descended from the ancient Israelites of the Bible.

At the same rally, Bahadur also led protesters in chanting [00:00:02]: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.

Palesign promoted their counterprotest on Instagram on April 7, 2024, the day of the pro-Israel rally. A screenshot of the post shared on Twitter showed that the Instagram post had said: “...The police liason [sic] contacted us requesting we don't come to this event today. We told them we aren't coming to bother people at a vigil. We are coming to confront racist and genocide enabler politicians who may be our next Prime Minister…We have audio equipment rented so we will be heard, God willing.”

Bahadur commented on the Instagram post from his personal account: “On the way. Speakers are on the way. Flags on the way.”

After Bahadur was charged, Palesign removed the post.

On April 10, 2024, Palesign commented on an Instagram post: “The [April 7, 2024, pro-Israel] event…had people celebrating isra*l. Jews don’t celebrate isra*l, zionists do. There were no jews at that event, only zionists…[Bahadur] said ‘your people killed jesus’. Of course he is referring to zionists because like we just said, it was zionists present at the event, not jews. We love and admire anti-zionist jewish allies and we hate and despise jewish settler zionists. Zionists/hypocrites tried killing jesus, not Jews.”

Theodor Herzl was the founder of the modern political Zionist movement. His 1896 book, “The Jewish State” envisioned the founding of an independent Jewish state within the next century. The First Zionist Congress was held in 1897. Herzl’s vision culminated in the birth of the State of Israel in 1948.

Palesign’s April 10, 2024 comment concluded: “Palesign doesn’t think the comments made by [Bahadur] were necessary and helpful, but we don’t think they were anti-semitic. Team Palesign representatives did not make those statements.”

On April 12, 2024, Palesign reiterated on Instagram that Bahadur was “not a member of team Palesign” and “does not represent our organization.”

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, approximately 2,900 heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border with Gaza. They executed numerous war crimes on civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape of men and women, torture, kidnappings and mutilation.

Hamas broadcast videos of their butchery on social media, often to victims’ accounts for families to see. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.” As of November 10, 2023, approximately 1,200 Israelis, the vast majority of them civilians, were murdered during the attacks. Hamas kidnapped 242 Israelis, including at least 30 children. At least 3,500 people were wounded, many severely.

A terrorist detained by Israel admitted he raped an Israeli woman when he broke into a kibbutz house during the October 7, 2023 attack. In March 2024, a former hostage of Hamas publicly stated she was sexually abused and tortured while in captivity.

For more information on the October 7, 2023 terror attacks, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

Convicted Sex Offender

According to an X post from April 26, 2024, Bahadur was convicted of an incident of “sexual interference” that took place on July 3, 2020. He was issued a probation order and required to report to register as a sex offender by June 7, 2023.

3/7/2024 - Protesting outside a Synagogue

On March 7, 2024, Bahadur participated [00:02:41] in an anti-Israel protest titled: “No Stolen Land Sales.” The rally was organized by Palesign and other anti-Israel groups, and took place outside a synagogue that was holding an Israeli real estate expo in Thornhill, Ontario.

At the rally, Bahadur held [00:02:43] signs that said: “BLOODLAND AVAILABLE 4 SALE AT THIS SYNAGOGUE” and [00:02:32]: “ISRAEL IS A TERRORIST STATE.”

During the protest, anti-Israel activists chanted [00:00:01]: “Resistance is justified, when people are occupied!” as well as [00:00:06]: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” and [00:00:57]: “Viva, viva intifada…Long live the intifada!”

Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.

The term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” carries the connotation of violence. Palestinian intifadas waged against Israel have been marked since 1987 by hundreds of hijackings, shootings, stabbings, bombings and suicide missions.

At the same rally, protesters also chanted [00:03:00]: “Settlers, settlers, go back home, Palestine is our home!” as well as [00:05:01] “Palestine is not for sale, Zionists go to hell!” and [00:03:06] “Zionism is terrorism!”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

Anti-Israel protesters reportedly stomped, spat on and attempted to burn Israeli flags. Protestors also reportedly said: “F**k these Jews.”

One of the speakers at the protest said [00:03:42]: “They claim to be indigenous to the land and yet, with this little sun they have, all these white people are burning up. Let’s laugh as these white people claim that they are indigenous to the land.”

One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites. This claim alleges that Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel. The Khazar myth is a common version of this claim which is used to delegitimize [00:02:16] the existence of the modern State of Israel.

Hatred of Israel

On October 7, 2023, the day of the unprecedented massacre of Israeli Jews by Hamas terrorists, Bahadur commented on an Instagram post celebrating the Jewish festival of Simchat Torah: “#freepalestine🇵🇸 from apartheid genocidal zionist Israel.”

On April 4, 2024, Bahadur commented on an Instagram post by Canadian politician Rob Oliphant: “#freepalestine🇵🇸 from this apartgeid [sic] genocidal zionist supporter, advocate, and puppet.”

On May 1, 2023, Bahadur commented on an Instagram post: “@spotify = apartheid genocidal zionist supporters #freepalestine🇵🇸 #endisraeliapartheid.”

On October 13, 2022, Bahadur commented on an Instagram post: “#freepalestine🇵🇸 #endisraeliapartheid #endisraelioccupation. @billmaher = apartheid zionist.”
