Promoting Violence
On May 29, 2019, Weinberg posted to Facebook: “this pride season lets bring back the age old [sic] tradition of our trans-ancestors by throwing bricks at cops.”
Expressing Support for a Terrorist
On March 29, 2019, Weinberg shared a video interview of Rasmea Odeh to Facebook, with the caption: “Tortured by Israel, deported from the U.S. and now censored by Germany, listen to what this Palestinian woman has to say.”
Odeh was a key military operative with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization. In 1969, she masterminded a PFLP supermarket bombing that killed two college students. She also attempted to bomb the British consulate in Jerusalem. Odeh later moved to the United States but was deported to Jordan in 2017 for immigration fraud.
INN Activity
On May 19, 2018, Weinberg posed for a group photo posted on Facebook, from an INN DC training event co-led by Taher Herzallah, the Associate Director of Outreach & Grassroots Organizing of AMP.
Weinberg also posted on Facebook offering transportation to the event: “Anyone from Baltimore wanna carpool? I have a car!”
INN’s comment on the Facebook photo described the training as gathering to “learn more about the history of Gaza, Palestinian non-violent resistance and how our community can take action to oppose the Israeli Military's recent actions.”
In May 2018, terror group Hamas instigated violent riots on the Israeli-Gaza border. Thousands of rioters attempted to breach Israel’s border fence, declaring their intention to harm Jews across the border under the pretext of “peaceful resistance.”
On May 16, 2018, a Hamas senior official, Salah al-Bardawil, stated that 50 out of 62 protesters killed during the May 14 Gaza border protest were Hamas operatives. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also claimed that three of its members were killed at the same protest.
Promoting Anti-Israel Agitators
On May 6, 2019, Weinberg shared to his Facebook page a post, by Linda Sarsour where she accused Israel of “barbaric treatment” and “dehumanization” of Palestinians and claimed that Israel was “Strangling over 2 million Palestinians in an open air prison.”
Anti-Israel agitator Linda Sarsour frequently uses the word “Zionist” as a pejorative and has tweeted that “nothing is creepier than Zionism.” She has aligned with noted anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, dismissed [00:07:45] those who see her alignment with Farrakhan as problematic and slammed the “Jewish Media” for calling attention to it.
On April 18, 2018, Weinberg shared to Facebook an article published in the Independent by anti-Israel agitator Ahed Tamimi, titled: “Like me, my brother has been jailed in Israel - who will speak up for Palestinian children?”
Ahed Tamimi has a long history of physically attacking Israeli soldiers. Tamimi is the daughter of Bassem Tamimi, who is known for exploiting young children as political props in staged confrontations with Israeli soldiers.
Opposing the U.S. Embassy Move to Jerusalem
On May 14, 2018, Weinberg updated his Facebook profile picture with an INN photo frame that said: “#EmbassyOfFreedom The Jewish Future Demands Palestinian Freedom.”
On May 14, 2018, INN DC hosted a demonstration in Washington, D.C. to protest the U.S. government’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the decision to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
The Demonstration also mourned [01:09:33] the Palestinians killed during the Great March of Return protests on Israel’s border with Gaza.
Spreading demonization of Israel
On June 23, 2019, Weinberg shared to Facebook an August 8, 2014, DemocracyNow article, titled: “Noam Chomsky: Israel’s Actions in Palestine are ‘Much Worse Than Apartheid’ in South Africa.” The article was first published during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE).Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
On June 8, 2019, Weinberg shared to Facebook an Electronic Intifada (EI) article titled: “Rapper Talib Kweli rejects German demand to denounce Israel boycott.”
On May 25, 2019, Weinberg shared an article on Facebook titled: “U.N. panel says Israeli troops ‘intentionall shot children’ in Gaza border protests.”
INN claims to take no position on the BDS movement and that it is “open to any who seek to shift the American Jewish public away from the status quo that upholds the Occupation.” However, INN organizes with pro-BDS, anti-Israel organizations including American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).

Media reports confirmed [00:00:20] protesters’ breaches and attempted breaches of the fence, some by armed Palestinians. On May 15, 2018, senior Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Zahhar said the Gaza protests were only a pretext of “peaceful resistance.”
IfNotNow (INN)
IfNotNow (INN) is an anti-Israel organization founded in 2014, in response to Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) against Hamas.
INN claims to be “young Jews angered by the overwhelmingly hawkish response of American Jewish institutions” to OPE. INN presents three demands on its website: “Stop the War on Gaza, End the Occupation, and Freedom and Dignity for All.”
INN defines “the Occupation as the military rule over Palestinians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza,” which is land Israel has controlled for nearly 50 years since the 1967 Six-Day War. However, INN leaders have made [00:34:32] the claim [00:13:49] at protests that the occupation is 70 years long, referring to Israel’s founding in 1948.
INN actions have aimed to demonize [00:38:13] Israel, harass [00:05:44] mainstream American Jewish organizations like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and decrease support for Israel among American Jews.
INN has used “public action and imaginative ritual” to achieve its goals, including disruptions where activists were arrested.
One of the high-profile arrests occurred at a May 2018 disruption at a U.S. Senator’s office in Washington, D.C. to protest legislation against the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
At the same incident, INN used [00:07:17] the Jewish ritual of the Mourner’s Kaddish prayer to mourn [00:09:10] protesters who were killed during the Hamas-organized and funded Great March of Return riots on the Israel-Gaza border.
INN activists have also staged and promoted walk-offs from Birthright Israel trips, a heritage trip to Israel for young Jewish adults from across the world.
