On March 2, 2024, PSL Philly and other anti-Israel organizations held an anti-Israel protest at Philadelphia’s City Hall. Protesters also blocked traffic on the Benjamin Franklin Bridge going between Philadelphia and New Jersey.


On March 3, 2024, Randi Hickey posted on Instagram a photo from the march to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Her photo showed two women holding signs claiming that Israel and America were carrying out "GENOCIDE" in Gaza. She wrote: "🇵🇸 for aaron bushnell • for a free palestine 🇵🇸."
Aaron Bushnell is a former U.S. serviceman who set himself on fire in February 2024 in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., in order to protest Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.
