Pamela Mkhaimer

Overview

Pamela Mkhaimer [Pamela S. Mkhaimer] has spread anti-Semitism and promoted Holocaust denial. Mkhaimer has also glorified a terrorist and demonized Israel and Zionists online.

Mkhaimer is a supporter of the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of May 2021, Mkhaimer’s Facebook page said she was the spokesperson for the World Against Israel’s Actions in Palestine (WAIAP) Facebook page, from “January 2014 - Present.”

As of May 2021, the WAIAP page had over 23,000 subscribers and likes. The WAIAP page has spread hatred of Israel, has shown support for several terrorists, equated Israel with Nazi Germany, condoned the Hamas kidnapping of Israeli soldiers and promotes BDS.

Mkhaimer’s Facebook page also said she “worked” at the Free_Gaza Media/News company, which has spread hatred of Israel, expressed support for anti-Israel violence and promoted BDS on Facebook.

As of May 2021, Mkhaimer’s LinkedIn page said she was a recreational therapy leader at Bon Secours Maria Manor Nursing Center and was located in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Anti-Semitism

In July 2016, Mkhaimer pinned an image of a rat, covered with words like ‘lucifer,’ ‘satan,’ ‘carrier of plagues,’ and ‘poisoner of peace.’ The original pinner of the image wrote: “The utilization of the term ‘anti-Semitism’ as a politically weaponized canard is an attempt to conceal the doctrine of Jewish racial…”

In June of 2016, Mkhaimer pinned an image on the Zionist Imperialism Pinterest board that suggested Jews and Israel were the chosen of Satan.

The image Mkhaimer pinned featured Satan, with his hands grasping a burning globe emblazoned with a Jewish Star of David

The image was captioned “MY CHOSEN PEOPLE.” Underneath the image appeared in bold print: “Dear Jewish community: My ‘anger’ is not the issue, your jewish supremacist tribal behavior is.” Below that, Mkhaimer wrote: “satan israhell.”

In December 2015, Mkhaimer pinned an image on Pinterest of children in Gaza with the caption: “Gaza Concentration/Starvation camp — Designed, Manufactured, frequently bombed and managed by Israel.” Mkhaimer commented: “pissrael, worse than Nazis.”

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.

In 2015, Mkhaimer pinned to Pinterest a cartoon of two religious Jews, next to a Menorah, studying a text. The image also depicted Satan in the background, laughing, with an atomic bomb exploding behind him. Mkhaimer commented on the image: “What israhell does.”

In 2015, Mkhaimer pinned to Pinterest an image of U.S. dollar bills folded into the shape of the Jewish Star of David. The image’s caption discussed figures of U.S. aid to Israel and suggested that U.S. taxpayers’ money is misspent on Israel, at the expense of U.S. citizens. Mkhaimer commented: “Zionism.”

Holocaust Denial

In December 2015, Mkhaimer pinned a cartoon featuring the “Happy Merchant,” a racist stereotypical depiction of a Jew, yelling in public “SIIIIIIX MILLION” with a passersby saying: “stop with the lies already.” Mkhaimer commented: “Lies, lies, lies, pissrael we are sick of your lies.”

The Happy Merchant is an anti-Semitic cartoon caricature of a Jew with a black beard, long hooked nose, a hunched back, crooked teeth and wrung hands. The cartoon is often used in memes by white supremacists to spread conspiracy theories and harass Jews online.

In December 2015, Mkhaimer pinned to Pinterest an image of a prominent Hassidic rabbi with a photoshopped revision of “Hollywood sign” in the background, altered to read “Holocaust.”

The image caption was also captioned: “Take the U.S. back from the stranglehold of Israel…The Zionist Power;- Configuration has turned the ‘Holocaust’ in to and [sic.] extortion racket that generates money for the global protection of the Zionist entity.” Mkhaimer commented on the image: “The REAL Holocaust! 68 years of genocide!”

Glorifying a Terrorist

On May 15, 2021, Mkhaimer shared a graphic on Facebook that featured a photo of Leila Khaled with a caption of a quote ascribed to her that read: “I have learned that a woman can be a freedom fighter, an activist, and that she can fall in love!”

Khaled is a leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau.

Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.

The PFLP claimed credit for the 2014 Har Nof Massacre where six people were murdered during morning prayers in a Jerusalem synagogue. The PFLP also claimed credit for the 2001 assassination of the Israeli tourism minister.

Demonizing Israel and Zionists

On May 15, 2021, Mkhaimer shared a graphic on Facebook with a caption that read: “Know that when you ‘Stand with #Israel’, you stand with #barbarians and contrary to everything #Jesus stood for! You are driving in the nails on that cross!”

On May 12, 2021, Mkhaimer shared a post on Facebook, calling to “#savesheikhjarrah.”

The original Facebook post said that Sheikh Jarrah was “a Jerusalemite neighborhood, is struggling with a new catastrophe. In a short time, 500 Palestinians will be expelled from their homes and ‘Zio.nist’ settlers will be resettled in light of an Arab and international media blackout !🇵🇸🇵🇸

In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

Support for BDS

In December 2015, Mkhaimer pinned an image on Pinterest that equated a Nazi propaganda poster with a poster promoting support for Israel and the IDF [Israel Defense Forces].

The image featured a caption that read: “SPOT THE DIFFERENCE. THINK BEFORE YOU PURCHASE PRODUCTS OR BUY FROM BUSINESSES WHICH SUPPORT GENOCIDE AND APARTHEID AGAINST PALESTINIAN CHILDREN. BOYCOTT ISRAEL.”

Mkhaimer commented: “BDS all the way.”

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
