Overview

Omaira Noori has spread hatred of Israel on Twitter. In 2017 and 2018, Noori was affiliated with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).

In 2015, Noori indicated on Twitter that she was affiliated with the Muslim Student Association (MSA) West.

As of September 2019, Noori’s LinkedIn page said she was a Financial Analyst at KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc., since August 2019. Her LinkedIn also said that she studied Business Economics at UCI from “2015 - 2019.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On July 15, 2017, Noori tweeted: “Can't wait til the day justice is served and Zionist pigs suffer immensely for every ounce of suffering they inflict on Palestinians.”

On December 23, 2016, Noori tweeted: “Israel is and always will be trash.”

On November 14, 2016, Noori tweeted: “friendly reminder that Israel is trash.”

On March 22, 2016, Noori tweeted: “Hillary Clinton is literally calling for the escalation of Zionist terrorism. Sag khar

On the same day, Noori tweeted: “Voting for Hillary = acceding to the furthering of Israel's war crimes. She disgusts me.”

On February 10, 2016, Noori tweeted: “If you support Israel, please unfollow me from all social media and educate yourself about what Israel is doing to Palestine. Thanks!!!!!!”

On September 24, 2015, Noori tweeted: “@mariamzahrari wouldn't be surprised if the media continues to neglect israel's crimes bc zionists have a way of controlling media.”

On September 12, 2015, Noori tweeted: “I need some deep breathing or whatever to calm me down. I can't wait until the day Israel pays for all the torture, bloodshed, and terrorism.”

On the same day, Noori tweeted: “How the heck can any human with a single brain cell try to justify Israel's terrorism???” and “ISRAEL MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL.”

On August 8, 2015, Noori tweeted: “Stupid ghwal celebrities who blindly support the biggest terrorist in the world: Israel.”

On May 25, 2015, Noori tweeted: “Israeli khara [s**t] tried sending me a friend request on Facebook

On May 15, 2015, Noori tweeted: “Israel is disgusting. #FreePalestine.”

SJP Activism

Noori indicated on Facebook that she “went” to an SJP UCI organized event, titled: “Anti-Zionism Week: We Will Return,” on April 9, 2018.

Noori indicated on Facebook that she “went” to an SJP UCI organized event, titled: “Gaza Now,” on May 2, 2018.

The Facebook event page description said: “Gaza Now: What is happening in Gaza? What is the Great Return March? Presented by Taher Herzallah, from American Muslims for Palestine.”

Taher Herzallah serves as the Associate Director of Outreach & Grassroots Organizing for American Muslims for Palestine (AMP).

Noori indicated on Facebook that she “went” to an SJP UCI organized event, titled: “SJP UCI Dabke Night,” on February 22, 2018.

The Facebook event page description said: “This time, we dedicate the night to the brave and courageous Ahed Tamimi. We will be writing letters to her and her family, and supporting her on a social media campaign!”

Ahed Tamimi has a long history of physically attacking Israeli soldiers. Tamimi is the daughter of Bassem Tamimi, who is known for exploiting young children as political props in staged confrontations with Israeli soldiers.

Noori indicated on Facebook that she “went” to an SJP UCI organized event, titled: “UCI Dabke Night,” on May 4, 2017.

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.

MSA

The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
