Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.
On November 10, 2017, Al-Duaijani tweeted a photo of a person wearing a t-shirt featuring Kanafani and commented: “يفوز بجائزة أحلى تيشيرت بالعالم [He wins the prize of the most beautiful t-shirt in the world]
On February 18, 2017, Al-Duaijani tweeted: “مروان البرغوثي أول من عرفت من سجناء فلسطين الأحرا [Marwan El-Barghouty was the first [person] I knew of the free Palestine prisoners].”
In that tweet, Al-Duaijani embedded another tweet containing a photo of Barghouti in prison, with the comment: “السلام على الأبطال المُهمشين في يجون الاحتلال [peace be upon the marginalized heroes in [the] occupation prisons].
On March 31, 2016, Al-Duaijani tweeted a photo of Kanafani, adding: “هل تعلم أني من الممكن أن أقضي 3 ساعات أتأمل في هذه الصورة؟#غسان_كنفاني [Do you know that I can spend 3 hours contemplating this picture? #Ghassan_Kanafani].”

As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated [00:36:07] for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.
Al-Duaijani commented: “طيران يسمح لك تطير وأنت ماسك هذا الكتاب يستحق ذات الثقة اللي توليها لنواب المجلس [Airlines that allows you to fly while you hold this book deserve the same confidence that you give to members of the parliament].”
Supporting Terrorists
UofSC SJP’s Facebook post said: “Joining the intl call to free Ahmad Sa’adat and all political prisoners!”
Ahmad Sa’adat is the Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). He is currently sentenced for terror activities, including his role in the 2001 assassination of Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze’evi and is in an Israeli prison. Under Sa’adat’s leadership, the PFLP perpetrated many suicide bombings against Israeli civilians during the second intifada.
On September 4, 2018, UofSC SJP tweeted a picture of Al-Duaijani with other activists at a UofSC SJP event discussing “the role women play in the Palestinian liberation struggle.”
The event’s Facebook page listed Rasmea Odeh, Khalida Jarrar and Dareen Tartour as examples of women at the forefront of the Palestinian movement. At the event, UofSC SJP activists wrote letters of support to Jarrar and Dareen Tatour.
Odeh was a key military operative with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization. In 1969, she masterminded a PFLP supermarket bombing that killed two college students. She also attempted to bomb the British consulate in Jerusalem. Odeh later moved to the United States but was deported to Jordan in 2017 for immigration fraud.
Khalida Jarrar is a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization. She has reportedly been the head of the PFLP in the West Bank since 2016. In 2015, an Israeli military court sentenced Jarrar to 15 months in prison for calling to kidnap Israeli soldiers. Israel arrested Jarrar again in 2017 “on suspicion of involvement with terrorist activities and violent public disturbances.” In 2019, she was arrested by Israel with 50 other PFLP operatives following a deadly 2018 bombing attack.
In October 2015, Tatour was placed under house arrest for incitement to violence and for support of a terrorist organization on social media. Tatour had supported the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and posted to Facebook: “I am the next shahid [martyr].”
Defending Violence
On September 13, 2015, masked Palestinian rioters barricaded themselves inside the Al Aqsa Mosque. They set off fireworks, starting a small fire, and threw stones and debris stored inside the mosque at Israeli police. The police later found pipe bombs the rioters had prepared to launch at Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount plaza.
Al-Duaijani’s tweet commented: “
Promoting Violent Demonstrators
On March 30, 2018, at the beginning of the violent “March of Return,” Al-Duaijani tweeted: “الهاشتاقات اللي خلتني أسب في تويتر [Hashtags that caused me to curse in twitter]On May 14, 2018, Al-Duaijani tweeted: “OK..nice chatting with u Just wanted to be clear on where I stand in all of this, I fully support all Palestinians in whatever tool they think it will bring their land back to them. And yes, Jews are welcomed in their holy lands but I don't believe in Israel's right to exist.”
That same day, Al-Duaijani tweeted an embedded tweet that said: “They are protesting for their right to return to THEIR HOMES. They are being slaughtered for doing that. If you spin this story any other way, you’re trash.”
Al-Duaijani added: “Let me spell it for you T R A S H.”
On May 15, 2018, Al-Duaijani was featured in UofSC SJP’s photo campaign to promote the March of Return, displaying a sign that said: “As a human I stand with the Palestinians.”
On May 16, 2018, a Hamas senior official, Salah al-Bardawil, stated that 50 out of 62 protesters killed during the May 14 Gaza border protest were Hamas operatives. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also claimed that three of its members were killed at the same protest.
Spreading Hatred of Israel
Proponents of the “anti-normalization” policy seek to police all interactions between Israelis and Palestinians and shut down all conversations and interactions perceived as being ideologically unaligned with their own agenda. They believe “liberal Zionist” dialogue with Palestinians “normalizes” entrenched power dynamics. This policy was originally dictated by the BDS National Committee (BNC), which prioritized the “Monitoring & Rapid Response” against interactions that recognize or cooperate with “Israel’s regime.”
On November 7, 2017, the Balfour 100 Ltd. presented a “Partners in this Great Enterprise” at the Royal Albert Hall, “marking the centenary” of the Balfour Declaration.
Defending an Anti-Israel Agitator
On February 12, 2019, Al-Duaijani tweeted a photo of Ilhan Omar, smirking, with the comment: “Arabs looking at Americans who are shocked and confused from the backlash one can get for criticizing AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee].”
A few days earlier, Omar tweeted the accusation that AIPAC was paying politicians to support Israel, which was widely criticized as anti-Semitic trope.
Opposing a State Bill Addressing Anti Semitism
On April 22, 2017, Al-Duaijani tweeted to Dima Khatib of AJ+ asking for help in fighting SC H. 3643.
Khatib’s LinkedIn indicated that she was the managing director of AJ+, as of May 2019. She has spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, defended Hamas and Hezbollah, glorified terrorists and demonized Israel. She is also a supporter of the BDS movement.
Shortly thereafter, Al-Duaijani followed up with a second tweet, suggesting:“دعمهم بتقرير مصور لحشد نوع من التأييد والضغط..سيتم التصويت على القرار الخميس المقبل.@Dima_Khatib العزيزة ديمة.. المنظمة الطلابية 'students justice for Palestine' في جامعة ساوث كارولينا تواجه خطر الحظر..هل بإمكان @ajplus[Dear Dima.. the student organization ‘students justice for palestine’ at South Carolina university is facing the danger or being banned.. can@ajplus back them up with a video report to garner a type of support and pressure.. voting for the decision will happen next Thursday]. ”
The bill did not pass in 2017, however it was later placed in the 2018-2019 budget and currently applies on college campuses.
BDS Support
On April 21, 2018, Al-Duaijani tweeted: “إلى كل من لج راسنا بسالفة ناتالي بورتمان. كانت صهيونية و بتظل صهيونية... ف أششش, [to all who gave us a headache with the story of Nataly Portman. She was a Zionist and will remain a Zionist.. so whatttt..]”Al-Duaijani embedded a tweet promoting the BDS movement and mocking those who thought Israeli actress Natalie Portman endorsed BDS when she did not.
On February 8, 2018, Al-Duaijani tweeted: “I didn't know the story behind sabra!!!! I always buy their Hummus and Guacamole
She embedded in her tweet a tweet by British activist, Sarah Wilkinson, who claims to be “Working for...An End to Israel's Illegal Occupation & War.” Wilkinson’s tweet announced: “Israeli hummus has been removed from the shelves of Manchester campus shop after a victorious BDS campaign.”

In December 2018, UofSC SJP sold bookmarks glorifying Palestinian terrorists Fatima Bernawi, Rasmea Odeh and Khalida Jarrar, as well as terror-inciter Dareen Tatour.
On August 3, 2018, UofSC SJP posted to Facebook a PFLP poster that featured a photo of George Habash and his quote “Palestine, all of Palestine, from the river to the sea.”
George Habash, who has been called“the godfather of Middle East terrorism,” founded the terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). In 1970, Habash was the mastermind behind the hijacking of four Western airliners known as the Dawson Field hijackings. In 1972, the PFLP collaborated with Japanese Red Army terrorists to massacre 24 people at Israel's Lod International Airport (renamed Ben Gurion International Airport).
On November 21, 2017, UofSC SJP shared an Al Jazeera interview about Marwan Barghouti to Facebook.
Marwan Barghouti is currently serving five consecutive life sentences for his role in suicide bombings and shooting attacks that killed five Israelis during the second intifada.
Barghouti led the Palestinian Authority (PA) terrorist Tanzim force and founded the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades. He also financed the guitar-case bomb used in the Sbarro Cafe massacre, where 15 civilians were killed and 130 injured.
UofSC SJP - Defending Terrorists
On August 13, 2018, UofSC SJP shared an article to Facebook that defended several“Knife Intifada” terrorists, including Ahmed Manasra and Nurhan Awad.In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.
Ahmed Manasra (sometimes spelled Mansara) and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan went on a stabbing spree in Jerusalem on October 12, 2015, during the Knife Intifada. They critically wounded a 13-year-old boy and moderately wounded a 25-year-old man. The spree ended when police shot Hassan and a passing motorist hit Ahmed. Ahmed was taken to an Israeli hospital. He admitted to investigators: “I went there to stab Jews.” He was later tried and convicted on two counts of attempted murder.
In December 2015, 16-year-old Lama al-Bakri drew a knife and attempted to stab a pedestrian in the Jewish neighborhood of Kiryat Arba before she was shot. Bakri was then detained for 3 years.
UofSC SJP- Glorifying Violent Protesters
On May 14, 2018, UofSC SJP posted to Facebook: “Just today, the number of Palestinian martyrs doubled since the beginning of the #GreatReturnMarch as Israel opened live fire” and added: “demand the US and Israel put an end to this ruthless massacre.”On May 15th, 2018, UofSC SJP launched a photo campaign of UofSC SJP activists and members holding up signs in defense of the March of Return.
That day, UofSC SJP tweeted: “peaceful Palestinian protestors at the #GreatReturnMarch demanding basic rights are being massacred by Israeli snipers. Israel opened live ammunition murdering over 50 Palestinians yesterday.”
UofSC SJP - Promoting Supporters of Terror
On April 22, 2018, UofSC SJP co-hosted Joe Catron and Islam Marqa of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). The event’s Facebook page noted that ISM volunteers acted as human shields, writing: “They stayed with resistance fighters trapped under siege in the Nativity Church in Bethlehem.”The International Solidarity Movement (ISM), founded in 2001, is a movement allegedly “committed to resisting the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land using nonviolent, direct-action methods and principles.”
However, the group has been accused of supporting terrorism and has encouraged its foreign volunteers to act “as human shields in cities, towns and refugee camps.” ISM has also encouraged activists to break curfew and disregard Israeli directives prohibiting access to closed military zones.
That policy resulted in the death of Rachel Corrie, who was accidentally killed while interfering with an Israeli military operation in 2003. A wrongful death suit brought by Corrie’s family was dismissed, because the judge ruled that Corrie unreasonably chose to put her own life in danger.
The HLF5 were five individuals associated with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) indicted for funnelling funds to Hamas in the guise of humanitarian aid.
The men were were all convicted and sentenced in 2009 to federal prison terms ranging from 15 to 65 years.
SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
