Hatred of Israel
On May 12, 2020, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “Israel,” in response to a tweet that said: “What is one thing you wished never existed.”On March 29, 2020, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “F*ck Zionism.”
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
On February 9, 2020, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “I can’t stress this enough... F**k Zionism.”
On January 25, 2020, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “I hate Israel.”
On November 15, 2019, during Israel’s Operation Black Belt, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “If you support Israel or Zionism especially after this week you are cold hearted & disgusting.”

On November 14, 2017, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “Long live the Palestinian resistance

.”Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” can be a euphemism for nationalistic terror. It is often used to excuse or even glorify anti-Israel and anti- Semitic violence.
Hatred of Zionists
On April 5, 2020, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “Normalization with zionists isn’t right there’s no way y’all will never convince me otherwise.”Proponents of the “anti-normalization” policy seek to police all interactions between Israelis and Palestinians and shut down all conversations and interactions perceived as being ideologically unaligned with their own agenda.

free
.”On January 14, 2018, Abuhamdeh tweeted: “The only things that can really get under my skin: Zionists, Israel…”
Support for Violent Protests
On March 28, 2020, Abuhamdeh was featured [slide 1] in a photo posted by John Jay SJP, commemorating the Great March of Return. The post read: “Two years ago on land day, tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza gathered by the illegitimate israeli separation fence [security barrier] demanding the right to return to their homeland…”
Israel’s security barrier, 97 percent of which is a low chain-link barrier, was built as a deterrent to Palestinian terror attacks. The concrete portions of the fence were built in response to Palestinian sniper attacks.
The “right of return” is a Palestinian demand discredited as a means to eliminate Israel. International law mandates no absolute right of return and UN Resolution 194, which defined principles for “refugees wishing to return to their homes,” was unanimously rejected by Arab nations following the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
The post also said: “Palestinians remain trapped in the most densely populated region in the world, an open-air prison…We demand an end to the blockade in Gaza and an end to all U.S. military aid to Israel…”
Referring to Gaza as an "open-air prison" is a way to delegitimize the United Nations-approved [pp. 39–41] joint Israeli-Egyptian blockade of the Gaza Strip imposed in 2011 to prevent Hamas from acquiring more sophisticated rockets.
Anti-Israel Activism (SJP, WOL)
On January 31, 2020, Abuhamdeh was a featured [slide 1] speaker at an anti-Israel rally titled: “Say No to the Steal of the Century / Palestine is Not for Sale.” The protest was organized by WOL, John Jay SJP and other anti-Israel groups and took place in Manhattan, New York.On January 28, 2020, U.S. President Donald Trump proposed a peace plan, referred to as the “Deal of the Century,” to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposed deal included land concessions by both sides of the conflict.
Abuhamdeh spoke at the rally on behalf of John Jay SJP and said [00:00:13]: “The deal of the century is actually more like the steal of the century. It’s an insult to Palestinians living abroad and to activists living here like us.”
Abuhamdeh continued [00:00:22]: “The United States has never been the fair broker as they claim to be. This deal is going to harm us now but we will continue to resist and continue to fight...”
On March 26, 2017, Abuhamdeh was featured in a group photo posted to John Jay SJP’s Instagram from a rally titled: “The National Rally to Support Palestine in D.C.”
SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
