Calling for Violence

On October 9, 2015, during the Knife Intifada, Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “What was taken by force, can only be restored by force.#resistance_is_existence.”

On October 4, 2015, Harazeen tweeted: “Islamic Jihad: Intifada 3 Has Begun, Harming Al-Aqsa a Red Line http://fb.me/TWTxmvri”

In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians. The attacks were incited by Palestinian leaders propagating the libel that Israel intended to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

On May 3, 2015, Harazeen tweeted: “Resistance knows no bounds! Resist the Zionist enemy with all your strength, whether armed or personal skills or... “

On September 28, 2012, Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “Good morning and Juma'a Mubarakah , Today marks the 12th Anniversary of The second Intifadaa ( Al-Aqssa Intifadaa ) were 5500 Palestinian were killed , We will never Forget ..”

Glorifying PIJ Terrorists

On March 13, 2012, Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “This is my Uncle ‘Majed Al-Harazeen’ Commander Chief of Al-Quds Brigades the military wing of Islamic Jihad .. The Israeli Warplanes assassinated him back in 2007.. I am So proud !  Proud that My family are from Al-Quds Brigades, Proud that they Resist to exist ..”

Harazeen’s post featured a photo of her uncle, Majed Al-Harazeen, senior leader in PIJ, with a caption in Arabic that read: “تزف سرايا القدس بكل اجهزتها العاملة شهيدها القائد العام لسرايا القدس  ماجد يوسف الحرازين - أبو مؤمن [AlQuds brigades with all it’s operating divisions would like to celebrate (the word used is for wedding celebration) its martyr the general leader of AlQuds brigades Majid Yousef Al-Harazeen - Abu Mo’amen]”

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) is a terror group “whose objective is the destruction of the State of Israel and the establishment of a sovereign, Islamic Palestinian state.” PIJ is backed by Iran and has killed dozens of Israelis in suicide bombings and other attacks.

Majed Al-Harazeen was reportedly a key leader behind “most of the rocket attacks from Gaza against Israel.”

On September 6, 2012, Harazeen posted to Facebook and commented: “This is my Cousin Mohammed Harazeen .. Kissing the Head of His Friend yesterday , One of the Martyrs from Islamic Jihad ..I am Just So Proud of My Family , So Proud to Be from an Islamic Jihad Family … ”

Support for Hamas

On November 14, 2013, Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “According to the Israeli occupation, Al-Jaabari was a terrorist ! According to us, Al-Jaabari was a resistance fighter that taught us how to resist the Israeli occupation and proof that we do exist ! Rest in the highest heavens, We will not forgive or forget !”

In a 2012 report, Ahmed al-Jabari [al-Jaabari] was reportedly: “chief of the Hamas military arm” and “responsible for all Hamas terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip during the last decade...from 2000-2007, which claimed the lives of over 1,500 Israeli civilians.”

Jabari was also reportedly “involved in orchestrating the kidnapping” of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

On March 18, 2013, Harazeen posted to Facebook a photo of herself reporting from the bedside of Hamas terrorist Ayman Sharawna. Harazeen wrote: “Today, After meeting and interviewing the Palestinian Hero ‘Ayman Sharawna’ for my TV report .. I felt so Happy and honored.”

Sharawna was sentenced to 38 years in prison for involvement in terrorist activity “as a member of Hamas.” In 2011, Sharawna was released as part of a prisoner exchange for Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit and was later re-arrested by Israel for returning “to terror activity.”

On May 14, 2013, Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “‘Newseum’...decided not to honor 2 Palestinian journalists...just because of an ‘ Israeli ’ pressure on Newseum using an inhuman racist excuse, saying that they were working in Al-Aqssa TV that belongs to Hamas, which is a ‘terrorist’ organization according to them, while is was democratically elected ! [sic]”

Expressing Support for Terrorists

On June 16, 2018, Harazeen tweeted: “The extension of Khalida [Jarrar]'s administrative detention does not mean that the campaign is stopping – on the contrary, it illustrates just how critical it is to pressure the Israeli occupation to demand her freedom.”

Khalida Jarrar is a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization. She has reportedly been the head of the PFLP in the West Bank since 2016. In 2015, an Israeli military court sentenced Jarrar to 15 months in prison for calling to kidnap Israeli soldiers. Israel arrested Jarrar again in 2017 “on suspicion of involvement with terrorist activities and violent public disturbances.” In 2019, she was arrested by Israel with 50 other PFLP operatives following a deadly 2018 bombing attack.

On August 15, 2015, Harazeen tweeted: “‘A hunger strike is a deterrent weapon against Israel’ Khader Adnan, who staged a 54-day hunger strike, explains…”

Khader Adnan was a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist organization. A 2007 YouTube video showed Adnan praising and encouraging suicide bombings: "Who among you will carry the next explosive belt? Who among you will fire the next bullets? Who among you will have his body parts blown all over?” In May 2023, Adnan died in prison after refusing medical treatment during a hunger strike.

On December 23, 2013, Harazeen posted to Facebook a photo of Samer Issawi, with the comment: “Update \ First photo of our Palestinian hero#Samer_Issawi , Samer who went through the longest Hunger strike for almost 9 months was released only 20 mins ago ! We are very happy wishing the same for the estimated other 5000 Palestinian prisoners still held in the Israeli jails .. #Palestinian_victory.”

Samer Issawi is a member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) who received a 26-year prison sentence in 2002. During the second intifada, Issawi manufactured and distributed pipe bombs and fired indiscriminately on Israeli civilian vehicles. In December 2013, Issawi called for the kidnapping of Israelis, saying: “The [Palestinian] prisoners' release will be brought about by kidnapping and [prisoner] exchanges. Nothing will happen without that.”

In December 2013, the Israeli Hadash Party posted on its official Arabic Facebook page an interview where Issawi called for the kidnapping of Israelis: “We want the release of the prisoners. The prisoners' release will be brought about by kidnapping and [prisoner] exchanges. Nothing will happen without that.”

On December 11, 2012, Harazeen posted a photo on Facebook of herself posing for a selfie with Leila Khaled and  wrote: “With the Amazing Laila Khalid, The PLFP Resistance fighter Who hijacked ‘ TWA Flight 840 ‘ on its way from Rome to Athens”

Khaled is a leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau.

Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.

The PFLP claimed credit for the 2014 Har Nof Massacre where six people were murdered during morning prayers in a Jerusalem synagogue. The PFLP also claimed credit for the 2001 assassination of the Israeli tourism minister.

Equating Israel with ISIS

On July 11, 2016, Harazeen tweeted: “#JSIL aka #Israel #MurderIncorporated Where killing without conscience is the norm, the first choice, the only... http://fb.me/4rSggBJyw

“#JSIL” reportedly stands for “Jewish State in the Levant.” This hashtag was was created “to vilify Israel...to make clear that the nation’s behavior is surely the equivalent” of ISIL. Anti-Israel activist Max Blumenthal co-created the hashtag. ISIL: the Islamic State of Iraq in the Levant, is also known as ISIS or IS (the Islamic State).

On October 20, 2015, Harazeen tweeted: “#JSIL #ColdBloodedMurder The zionists are executing Palestinians for no reason other than them being…”

On October 2, 2014, Harazeen tweeted: “Yes there is bias towards Israel #JSIL. Other states that violate UN resolutions are bombed or have sanctions... http://fb.me/6NOI7hcp2”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On June 19, 2016, Harazeen tweeted: “Israel is a state that owes its very existence to ethnic cleansing, massacres and seemingly perpetual wars.”

On June 1, 2016, Harazeen tweeted: “Ethnic Cleansing, official policy of the zionists in Palestine since the end of the 19th century, still happening…”

On August 21, 2015, Harazeen tweeted: “It's Time To Hold Israel, Israelis And American Zionists Financially Responsible For Terrorism http://fb.me/3Tc7nRIOa”

On June 17, 2015, Harazeen tweeted: “How to hold Israel to account? Boycott. http://fb.me/2UkrxS6iz .”

On December 3, 2014, Harazeen tweeted: “#BDS success ! The Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul has cancelled a major collaboration deal with Israeli... http://fb.me/7VEJFXB0X

The BDS Movement claimed a victory when the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul reportedly cancelled a major collaboration deal with Israeli company Elbit systems.

On November 22, 2013, Harazeen tweeted: “Why we must boycott Israeli universities #2013ASA #BDS http://fb.me/152RHtxcR”

On September 25, 2013, Harazeen tweeted: “LIKE! LIKE! LIKE! Big BDS News! Veolia - which has been the focus of much divestment campaigning here in Ireland... http://fb.me/14s3Nfz69”

The BDS Movement reportedly: “hailed a decision by French infrastructure corporation Veolia to sell-off its final investment in the country as a ‘major’ victory.”

Solidarity with Mads Gilbert

On January 12, 2018, Harazeen was tagged in a Facebook post by her husband, Mahdi Aljamal. The post said: “guess who is back to #Gaza ? Such an honor to meet Dr. Mads Gilbert🙂 - with Noor Harazeen.”

On November 15, 2014, Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “Dr. Mads Gilbert, an amazing friend of mine...has been permanently banned from entering the Gaza Strip by the Israeli government ! But i know that nothing can stop his determination...He will come back through the Egyptian-Palestinian Rafah border !”

On October 13, 2014, following Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Harazeen wrote on Facebook: “With the amazing Dr. Mads Gilbert in Gaza during my coverage on the ‘Israeli’ ( Proactive Edge ) [sic] assault on Gaza, July\August 2014.”

Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

Harazeen’s post continued: “In a meeting with Dr Mads Gilbert, he confirmed that the ‘Israeli’ forces are using the illegal experimental weapon "DIME" [Dense Inert Metal Explosive] on the Gaza strip.” The post featured a photo of Harazeen posing with Dr. Mads Gilbert.

Gilbert has been banned indefinitely from entering Gaza through Israel because of his connections to the Hamas leadership.

In 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2014 Gilbert was stationed at a hospital that served as a Hamas command center and rocket launching site. During that time he acted as a propagandist for the Hamas government in Gaza.

In 2001, following al Qaeda's September 11 terrorist attacks, Gilbert expressed support for the terror acts as a “legitimate response.” In December of 2009, Gilbert was accused of faking resuscitation on a dead child in Gaza for dramatic effect for a CNN video.

Associating with Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theorists

In December 2013, Harazeen was reportedly a guest correspondent for Ken O’Keefe at The People’s Voice. O’Keefe, who has been described by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as “a raving David Duke-endorsing anti-Semite,” has denied the Holocaust, spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and praised Hitler.

On December 22, 2015, Harazeen was featured in a photo posted on Facebook with O’Keefe.

On July 25, 2014, Harazeen reported on the situation in Gaza to Max Igan in a piece titled: “Israel Deliberately Targeting Children and Whole Families.” Max Igan has reportedly minimized the Holocaust and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.

In the call, Igan asked [00:01:11] “What are the soldiers doing?..Is it just civilian targets all the time?” Harazeen answered [00:01:20]: “Yeah...they are targeting children...they are going crazy.”

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
