Overview

Nadine Khawaja has expressed support for violence and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter.

As of February 2024, Khawaja’s LinkedIn profile said she had been working as a “Premium Relationship Officer” for the Arab Bank in the United Arab Emirates since July 2023.

Also as of February 2024, Khawaja’s LinkedIn said she had graduated from Carleton University (Carleton) with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2019.

Khawaja’s LinkedIn said she was located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Expressing Support for Violence

On January 23, 2015, Khawaja tweeted: “Just because a palestinian has the right to kill an israeli doesn't mean were terrorists.”

On March 27, 2015, Khawaja tweeted: “Resistance in Palestine will continue until the final liberation of all the Palestinian lands.”

Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” can be a euphemism for nationalistic terror. It is often used to excuse or even glorify anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence.  

Hatred of Israel

On December 5, 2014, Khawaja tweeted: “...israel ele t7r2k ente wyahom [I wish you would burn along with Israel].”

Khawaja was responding to a tweet that said: “...Saudi Arabia Oil Minister: We Sell Oil to All Countries, Including Israel.”

On October 2, 2014, Khawaja tweeted: “If you think israel exists we cant be friends.”

On July 28, 2014, Khawaja tweeted: “Allah ya5od israel kolha tfeh [May Allah destroy all of Israel].”

Khawaja wrote her tweet during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) against Hamas in Gaza.

Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

On July 20, 2014, Khawaja tweeted: “Ya Israel ya klab [O Israel, you dogs].”

On July 18, 2014, Khawaja tweeted: “Who the hell votes for israel,its not even a country to do so.”

On June 20, 2014, Khawaja tweeted: “What they call ‘israel’ is getting on my nerves.”
