Overview
Mohumad Mishal [Moe Mishal] has promoted racism and anti-Semitism on Twitter. Mishal has also endorsed violence, cheered a Hamas kidnapping, expressed support for terrorists and spread hatred of Israel.Mishal is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of October 2019, Mishal’s Facebook page said he graduated from the University of Akron (UA) in 2012.
As of October 2019, Mishal’s LinkedIn page said he was the “Manager” at A&A Beauty Supply in Akron, Ohio, since September 2011, and was an intern with the U.S. Department of Commerce, since January 2016, in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio.
Mishal’s LinkedIn page also said he studied “International Business at UA from “2011 - 2016.”
Racism and Anti-Semitism
On June 22, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “F**k the yahood [Jews]On October 25, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “This nigga is watching porn in the f library!!!!!!!!!!! #wtf #3abeed.”
“Abeed,” “3abeed” and “3beed” mean “slaves” in Arabic, while “3bid,” “3abid” and “3abed” mean “slave.” All are derogatory terms that refer to Black people.
On October 15, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “Yusef Mubarak gonna be the first one in Akron to get Ebola from all the little 3abeed kids that he kisses at work.”
On July 18, 2013, Mishal tweeted: “This is what happens when you steal from A&A! @abedallahokab#ghetto #abeed #steal #A&Acrew http://instagram.com/p/b65Z6hhPjw/.”

Endorsing Violence
On November 2, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “@RT_com: Israeli ministers pass bill jailing stone throwers for 20 years http://on.rt.com/llt9e1 ’ wtf.”On October 26, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “If I was in Silwad right now I would be throwing rocks with all the silwady kids that aren't scared of the Israelis bullets. #silwad.”

On September 10, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “#silwad where real men come from.”
The tweet featured a graphic with a headline in Arabic that read: “An overwhelming intifada in occupied Jerusalem:The police station on Salah El-din street got attacked with rocks and fireworks, and fire was set to a patrol during clashes in Silwan, and the occupation is unable to enter Wadi El-Joz due to intensity of the clashes.”
Cheering a Hamas Kidnapping
On July 20, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “All these videos and pics of pali people in palestine cheering and dancing for arresting the Israeli solder are making my nightOn the same day, Mishal tweeted: “Now Hamas is gonna torture Israel for that solder :).” Mishal’s tweets referred to the kidnapping of Israeli soldier, Oron Shaul, that day.
Shaul was caught in a deadly ambush in Shejaiya, Gaza, by Hamas terrorists during Operation Protective Edge (OPE). Hamas celebrated the capture of Shaul and even produced a song. The IDF later determined that Shaul was dead and that his body was held by Hamas.
Support for Terrorists
On April 29, 2017, Mishal tweeted: “Palestinian prisoners life's are at risk #SaltwaterChallengeSpreading Hatred of Israel
On August 26, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “Real talk, we ain't the ones you wanna mess with “#Gaza #FreePali #RealSolders #F**kisrael…”On July 10, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in Gaza, Mishal tweeted a graphic that depicted the media focusing their cameras on a crying Israeli baby, while ignoring Gazans with their body parts blown off.
Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
BDS Support
On November 19, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “Just witnessed @SuroorKhaleqsupporting Israel by purchasing Starbucks #smh.”On August 13, 2014, Mishal tweeted: “I'm boycotting 95.5 radio station, f them they are pro Israel, and I SupportGaza f**k Israel again.”
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
