Overview
Mohammed Othman has shown support for terrorists, compared Israel to Nazi Germany and spread hatred of Israelis and Zionists. Othman has also promoted hatred of Israel and bigotry. He is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.In March 2012 and February 2013, Othman wrote on Twitter that he was a student at the College of Staten Island (CSI), part of The City University of New York (CUNY). In April 2015, Othman tweeted: “I hate accounting
why is this my major.” In March 2017, Othman indicated on Twitter that he worked as a car salesman.
As of January 2023, Othman’s Instagram said he was located in New York City. In November 2020, he tweeted that he lived in Staten Island.
As of the same date, Othman used the handle “@Moe_Othman_” on Twitter and “@moe.othman.167” on Facebook, as well as “@_moeothman” on Instagram. He also went by the username “Moe Othman” on Facebook.
Support for Terrorists
Othman reposted a February 23, 2025 post on X that said: “The Funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. He was truly loved by his people…”
Hassan Nasrallah became the leader of terror group Hezbollah in 1992 and maintained his leadership until an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon killed him on September 27, 2024. Nasrallah once said: “In a future war, all of occupied Palestine will be struck by our rockets” and [00:00:19]: “Israel is a cancerous tumor!…The only solution is to eradicate the cancer.” He called Jews the most “cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble” people in the world.
Comparing Israel to Nazi Germany
Othman reposted a January 22, 2025 post on X that said: “The Zionists are everything they told you the Nazis were.”Othman reposted a January 19, 2025 post on X that said: “Everyone in Gaza is a holocaust survivor.”
Anti-Israel activists compare Israel to Nazi Germany and Gazans to Holocaust survivors to insinuate that the plight of Palestinians has eclipsed Jewish suffering during the Holocaust.
Hatred of Israelis and Zionists
On October 12, 2015, Othman tweeted: “Israelis, biggest p**sies in the world.”
On December 14, 2016, Othman tweeted: “Hope Allah [God] grants everybody a better year in 2017, insha'Allah
(except Israelis).”On December 29, 2016, Othman tweeted: “Nothing makes my blood boil more than Israel & zionists. May Allah curse them & let them taste their deeds, their time will come.”
On January 17, 2017, Othman tweeted: “Israelis are nothing but the biggest scumsof the earth.”
On May 8, 2021, Othman tweeted: “The Zionists are the biggest group of cowards on this earth…”
Hatred of Israel

Othman reposted another April 30, 2025 post on X that said: “How can we donate gasoline to the fire in Isreal?”
Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
On July 31, 2014, Othman tweeted: “#F**kIsrael #IsraelTerorist.”
Othman’s tweet included an image that said: “About 70 years ago, the world watched Nazi Germany massacre millions before anyone did anything to stop it. In 2014, we watch the strategic elimination of the Palestinian people. 70 years from now, the world will look back and wonder how we did nothing to stop it before the damage was done.”
On March 3, 2015, Othman tweeted: “israel soldiers are p**sies.”
On May 5, 2015, Othman tweeted: “Any country that cooperates with zionists is a terrorist country.”
On May 11, 2021, during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW), Othman tweeted: “There is no ‘conflict’ in Palestine like the media portrays it, is is literally Israel murdering and terrorizing innocent people.”
In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.
Othman retweeted a May 17, 2021 tweet that said: “F**king disgusting. This is American funded genocide #GazaUnderAttak #PalestinianLivesMatter.” The tweet was in response to a tweet from Israel's official Twitter account that showed rocket emojis symbolizing Hamas rockets launched into Israel.
On January 23, 2022, Othman tweeted an image that said: “‘Israel’ is NOT a country. It is a group of settlers. A group of settlers who are colonising Palestine. It’s that simple.”
Bigotry
On August 20, 2016, Othman tweeted: “Abeed > Crackers.”“Abeed,” meaning “slaves” in Arabic, is a derogatory term referring to Black people.

”BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
