Mohamad Zeitawi
Overview
Mohamad Zeitawi has promoted violence against Jews, expressed support for Hamas, spread anti-Semitism and demonized Israel on Twitter.In 2014, Zeitawi led anti-Israel protests an an activist with Coloradans for Justice in Palestine (CJP). That year, Zeitawi was also affiliated with the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), an offshoot of the Muslim Students Association (MSA).
As of June 2018, Zeitawi was a member of the MSA Auraria Facebook group.
As of June 2018, Zeitawi’s Facebook page said he “studied” at the Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) and that he worked at Dollar Thrifty Automative Group.
Violence Against Jews
On September 29, 2012, Zeitawi tweeted: “If I had 3 wishes. 1. To be in Falasteen [Palestine] <3 2. To shoot a yahoodi [Jew] 3. To spit on that mothaf**ka.”On October 23, 2012, Zeitawi tweeted: “I threw a water bottle at a Jew yesterday. It felt so good.”
On November 7, 2012, Zeitawi tweeted: “#ThingsMyDadTaughtMe How to throw rocks at Jews.”
On May 26, 2013, Zeitawi tweeted: “I almost beat the s**t out of a jew today.”
On June 23, 2013, Zeitawi tweeted: “LMAO I JUST THREW ROCKS AT JEWS.”
On August 4, 2013, Zeitawi tweeted: “I'm so mad I'm gonna dropkick a Jew tomorrow.”
On December 15, 2013, Zeitawi tweeted: “I was about pimp slap the f**k outta this Jew.”
On the same day, Zeitwai tweeted: “I can't go to a yahoodi [Jewish] protest and be ‘peaceful’ tf lol”
As of June 2018, Zeitawi’s Twitter cover photo featured masked Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli police.
Supporting Hamas
On June 13, 2014, Zeitawi tweeted: “They kidnapped 3 Jews 😂”Hamas was responsible for the kidnapping of three Israeli teenagers from a bus stop on June 12, 2014. The abducted boys were murdered by their captors, and their bodies were found buried in Palestinian-controlled territory on June 30, 2014.
On August 29, 2013, Zeitawi tweeted: “On bloods — I'm Hamas.”
On November 16, 2012, during Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense (OPD), Zeitawi tweeted: “My dad made the news proudly representing Gaza!” Zeitawi’s tweet featured a photo of his father at a Hamas rally, holding a sign that read: “Victory to Gaza.”
Israel launched OPD to stop Hamas rocket attacks on Israeli civilians from Gaza. Over the course of eight days in November 2012, Palestinian terrorist groups fired more than 1,500 rockets at Israel. The majority struck Israel, damaging homes, schools and other civilian areas. Human Rights Watch noted: “Palestinian armed groups made clear in their statements that harming civilians was their aim.”

Anti-Semitism
On May 28, 2014, Zeitawi tweeted: “What do you call two ovens on top of each other?? JEWISH BUNK BEDS 😂😂😂😂.”On July 15, 2015, Zeitawi tweeted: “Blame the yahood [Jews] Noura. Not me tf.”
On the same day, Zeitawi tweeted: “Like now I blame yahood [Jews] for putting you in my life. Thanks.” Zeitawi added: “@BrincessRhonda @nourizzle Blame the yahood [Jews].”
Also on July 15th, 2015 Zeitawi tweeted: “#GrowingUpPalestinian Everything bad that happens in the world we blame yahood [Jews] cuz cos im7om [cuz f**k their mothers].”
On April 9, 2015, Zeitawi tweeted a video of an toddler being prompted to say “’Kos Omkom’ [F**k your mother's].” Zeitawi commented: “When I think of yahood [Jews] 😂”

On September 30, 2016, Zeitawi tweeted: “September 30th 2000. Zionist Israeli army were shooting at an unarmed father and his son. Father lived. Son died. #RIPMohammedAlDurra.”
The Al-Durah hoax is an iconic piece of anti-Israel propaganda, fabricated on September 30, 2000 at the start of the Second Intifada by a France 2 reporter.
On November 5, 2014, Zeitawi tweeted: “What is the thing you hate the most? — Israel.”
On September 9, 2014, Zeitawi tweeted: “‘Israel is a cancer in the heart of the Middle East’”
MSA
The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."
The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.
The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
