As of December 2024, Mike Myz’s Instagram bio indicated that he was "Interviewing Strangers on The Local News PGH [Pittsburgh]" (TLN) YouTube channel. His Instagram also said he was a guitarist and front man for the Urns music band in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

On November 17, 2023, during Israel’s war against Hamas, anti-Israel activist groups held a pro-terror rally in Pittsburgh. One speaker received loud cheers when he expressed support for terrorism. Other speakers later called for Israel’s destruction and were also greeted with cheers from the crowd.
