Overview
Mezana Mohsin has spread anti-Semitism, defended the terror group Hamas and demonized Israel on Twitter.In 2013 and 2014, Mohsin was affiliated with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the College of Staten Island (CSI), part of City University of New York (CUNY) and promoted SJP at CSI organized events on Twitter.
In 2014, Mohsin was affiliated with the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), an offshoot of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP).
In May 2017, Mohsin was listed on slive.com as a 2017 graduate of CSI.
As of April 2020, Mohsin was listed on Mylife.com as living in Staten Island, New York.
Anti-Semitism
On August 16, 2015, Mohsin promoted the claim that ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi was actually a Jew named Simon Elliot, tweeting: “ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi is a Jewish Mossad Agent http://youtu.be/TaH9LyYGjbk.”On July 20, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Israel doesn't understand the meaning of ‘peace’ nor will they ever. They're pure evil, it runs in their blood.”
Also on July 14, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Monkey see, monkey do. Israel is the new Nazi Germany.”
On February 7, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “@nasssy_nas crumbs? Yahoodi [Jewish] a**!”
On October 8, 2013, Mohsin tweeted: “The yahood kelbat [Jewish dogs] need to leave, their starting to piss me off lmao.”
On September 27, 2013, Mohsin tweeted: “@Hanadi_128 @asap_cali187 Wallah like go fight the yahood [Jews] if you're acting this brave.”
On the same day, Mohsin tweeted: “@asap_cali187 @Paliboy17 LMAOOOOOOOOOOO he's so gay wallah. He probably kisses the Jews with that mouth. Yallah bye gay boy 👋.”
On September 10, 2013, Mohsin tweeted: “@YsMooVe24 he wanted me to pay him inorder for me to use his charger kelb. He`s so yahoodi [Jewish].”
Defending Hamas
On July 19, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Mohsin tweeted: “When will Israel stop with this ‘Hamas children shield’ BS?! Where was Hamas when they killed those four kids on the beach?”Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
Throughout the summer of 2014 — during Operation Protective Edge (OPE) — Hamas's deployment of human shields was extensively documented and publicized. Hamas encouraged Gazans to act as human shields to frustrate Israeli efforts to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza.
Hamas is a designated terrorist organization by the European Union, Canada, Australia, the United States and Israel.
Demonizing Israel
On November 12, 2018, Mohsin tweeted: “Lmfao celebrities really out here crying for gun reform while helping Israel kill innocent Palestinians. Idiots.”On February 25, 2016, Mohsin tweeted: “Rubio & Cruz kissing Israel's a**.
On August 6, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “You can't negotiate with evil #Israel.”
On the same day, Mohsin tweeted: “There shall never be peace in the Middle East with Israel there.”
On August 5, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Zionists are subhuman.”
On August 3, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Ya Allah bring Israel a day they'll never forget in their lives. No punishment is greater than God's punishment.”
On August 2, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Zionists are devils in human form.”

On the same day, Mohsin tweeted: “Hamas denied any involvement in their deaths and Israel has no evidence. I wouldn't be surprised they BS all that just to kill Palestinians.”
Also on July 18, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “The only time Israel will be under attack is when Allah punishes them. So Israel's save your hashtag until JAHANAM! [Hell] ☺️#IsraelUnderAttack 🔥.”
On July 16, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Israel is the enemy of mankind.”
On July 14, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “Israel is racist to the Eithopian (Black Jews) in Israel cause they're not pure Jews. Just imagine the racism to Muslims, Christians, etc.”
On the same day, Mohsin tweeted: “American politicians care and support Israel more than it's own people.” Another Twitter user commented: “@anonymez_ America is Israeli” Mohsin replied: “@PhillMustBe true smh.”
On July 13, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “ISRAEL, IS REAL EVIL.”
On July 12, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “This is how the US government sees us. ‘WE THE PEOPLE’ < ISRAEL.”
On July 10, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “May Allah punish these Zionist pigs in this life, in the grave and in the afterlife.”
On July 3, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “@CutekidKaid MHMMMMMM you're a citizen of the United States of Israel lol.”
On July 2, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “The greatest abomination to our world are these Zionist.”
On April 16, 2014, Mohsin tweeted: “@amy_love1996 would you rather kiss a pig or kiss a Zionist? Lmaoo.”
On October 8, 2013, Mohsin tweeted: “Can't wait for the day these Zionist pigs get what they deserve.”
CSI SJP - Supporting Intifada
On October 15, 2015, during the Palestinian “Knife Intifada,” CSI SJP promoted on Facebook a protest in “Solidarity with the Palestinian Uprising.” The protest was called to preempt an October 18, 2015 “Jewish Lives Matter” rally scheduled to take place in Times Square.The “Days of Rage” in October of 2015 were heralded by Hamas as the advent of a new intifada. They directly resulted in the deaths of Israeli civilians by shootings, stabbings and car rammings.
CSI SJP’s Facebook post said: “Join us loudly in proclaiming that Resistance is not Terrorism, Occupation and Colonialism are Terrorism!”
On October 6, 2015, CSI SJP shared on Facebook an NYC SJP “statement of solidarity” with a “Day of Rage” rally held at the Consulate General of Israel in New York.
At the bottom of that statement was a graphic of a keffiyeh-masked man throwing a rock, with the caption: “Palestine Let the Intifada pave the way for people’s war!”
Protesters at the rally chanted [00:00:16] “Long live the intifada! Intifada, intifada!” as well as [00:00:01] “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” and [00:01:18] “Settler settler go back home, Palestine is ours alone!"
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is a chant calling to dismantle the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state.
CSI SJP - Defending Terrorists
On May 16, 2017, CSI SJP participated in the “Saltwater Challenge.”On June 3, 2016, CSI SJP promoted on Facebook a “Justice for Rasmea Rally & March,” hosted by Within Our Lifetime (WOL), formerly known as New York City SJP (NYC SJP). The event’s Facebook description said the rally was organized to “demand a new trial and justice” for Rasmea Odeh.
Leila Khaled is a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated [00:36:07] for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.
NYC SJP’s blog post went on to praise Odeh and Khalida Jarrar.
Khalida Jarrar is a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization. She has reportedly been the head of the PFLP in the West Bank since 2016. In 2015, an Israeli military court sentenced Jarrar to 15 months in prison for calling to kidnap Israeli soldiers. Israel arrested Jarrar again in 2017 “on suspicion of involvement with terrorist activities and violent public disturbances.” In 2019, she was arrested by Israel with 50 other PFLP operatives following a deadly 2018 bombing attack.
On August 16, 2015, CSI SJP promoted on Facebook a protest by NYC SJP supporting Mohammad Allan. Mohammed’s relative Ziad Allan, demonized Israel at the protest.
Allan is a member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a terror group “whose objective is the destruction of the State of Israel and the establishment of a sovereign, Islamic Palestinian state.” Allan was first jailed by Israel in 2006 for trying to recruit a suicide bomber to carry out an attack in Israel. He was detained in 2014 for similar reasons. PIJ is backed by Iran and has killed dozens of Israelis in suicide bombings and other attacks.
CSI SJP - Spreading an Anti-Israel Conspiracy Theory
On February 22, 2015, CSI SJP posted on Facebook an article stating: “Hundreds of Palestinians flee as Israel opens dams into Gaza Valley.”The article claimed that “hundreds of Palestinians were evacuated from their homes after Israeli authorities opened a number of dams near the border, flooding the Gaza Valley in the wake of a recent severe winter storm.”
Al-Jazeera shared and later retracted the story, admitting: “In southern Israel, there are no dams of the type which can be opened.”
CSI SJP - Supporting Anti-Israel Agitators
On March 10, 2015, CSI SJP shared a photo campaign organized by SJP at Hunter College to support Lina Khattab.Khattab was detained on December 13, 2014, and sentenced to six months jail time on February 16, 2015 for throwing rocks, while celebrating the 47th anniversary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)’s founding.
On January 29, 2015, CSI SJP posted an article on Facebook supporting disgraced anti-Israel Professor Steven Salaita. The CSI SJP Facebook post said: “Down with foreign government lobbies bribing universities to silent dissenters and organizers against settler-colonial states!”
SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
