Maysara Hamada

Maysara Hamada [Maysara M. Hamada] denied Hamas terror atrocities and spread antisemitism as well as hatred of Israel on social media.

Hamada posted his remarks after Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023. The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

As of July 2024, Hamada’s LinkedIn profile said he had been working as a research scholar at the SRC Research Scholars Program since February 2023. Hamada’s LinkedIn also said he had been a research assistant at the University of Southern California (USC) since July 2020. The University of Southern California is located in Los Angeles, California.

Also as of July 2024, Hamada’s LinkedIn said he was studying for his PhD in electrical and electronics engineering from USC. Hamada’s LinkedIn also said he graduated from Cairo University with a master’s degree in “Electronics Engineering” in 2019.

As of the same date, Hamada’s LinkedIn said he was located in Los Angeles, California.

On March 20, 2024, Hamada denied that Hamas terrorists raped either living or dead Israelis during the organization’s attacks on October 7, 2023. He responded to a tweet about Hamas raping corpses, by writing: “Exactly as many as alive people raped / Hint: It rhymes with hero.”

On October 7, 2023, Hamas raped women next to the bodies of dead friends. Some were raped and then shot in the head. Others, including young girls, were raped and murdered or mutilated in other ways. Men were also raped.

Israeli officials opened an unprecedented investigation into the widespread sexual assault. Forensic analysis of corpses showed evidence of torture and rape. Hamas terrorists said they were given explicit orders to carry out the atrocities, including chopping off legs and raping the corpses of murdered victims.

A terrorist detained by Israel admitted he raped an Israeli woman when he broke into a kibbutz house during the October 7, 2023 attack. In March 2024, a former hostage of Hamas publicly stated she was sexually abused and tortured while in captivity.

On February 26, 2024, Hamada denied on Twitter that “‘Hamas filmed themselves raping women on Oct 7th,’” calling it “nonsense.” He was responding to a tweet posted on February 9, 2024 that said: “...Hamas terrorists *filmed themselves* raping Israeli women…on October 7.”

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, approximately 2,900 heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border with Gaza. They executed numerous war crimes on civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape of men and women, torture, kidnappings and mutilation.

Hamas broadcast videos of their butchery on social media, often to victims’ accounts for families to see. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.” As of November 10, 2023, approximately 1,200 Israelis, the vast majority of them civilians, were murdered during the attacks. Hamas kidnapped 242 Israelis, including at least 30 children. At least 3,500 people were wounded, many severely.
