Overview
Maya Cheatani has promoted the use of deadly weapons, praised the terror group Hezbollah, defended the terror group Hamas and idolized terrorists. She has also spread anti-Semitism, supported violence toward Israelis, demonized Zionism and tokenized anti-Zionist Jews.Cheatani is also a proponent of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement (BDS).
According to a June 2017 Facebook post, Cheatani graduated from the University of Ottawa (U of O) in the spring of 2017. On September 2, 2017, Cheatani tweeted that she moved to the Los Angeles area to study Law.
As of March 2018, Cheatani went by the alias “Maya Che” on Facebook.
Promoting Deadly Weapons
On June 4, 2015, Chaetani tweeted a picture of herself holding a grenade launcher in front of a Hezbollah flag with the caption “Baalbak 2013. Can’t wait to be back. 15 days.” Baalbeck is a Hezbollah stronghold, in Lebanon’s Beqaa valley.Chaetani tweeted the same picture on November 19, 2015, with the caption “lets go.”
On June 6, 2015, Cheatani tweeted a picture of someone holding an assault rifle, with the caption “F**k wit me.”
Praising Hezbollah
On April 21, 2014, Cheatani tweeted photos of fallen Hezbollah terrorists with the caption: “Our beautiful martyrs. #menOfGod #Hezbollah.”On April 19, 2015, Cheatani responded to an ask.fm question:
“Would you marry a Hezbollah fighter? Pls say yes — I'd be honored.”
On January 27, 2015, Cheatani tweeted a photo of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, with the caption “The leader of all leaders. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The KING of all Muslims!
On December 5, 2015, Cheatani tweeted: “The difference is, Hezbollah doesn't bomb, their strategic warfare only targets occupied cities & liberates them for populations to return.”
She also commented: “Hezbollah never targeted nor killed civilians. They've only (successfully) targeted payed insurgents & terrorists occupying deserted cities.”

Also on January 28, 2015, Cheatani tweeted a photo of Israeli soldiers grieving at the funeral of Yonatan Hadassi on July 20, 2006.
Hadassi was killed the previous day in a battle with Hezbollah fighters on the Lebanon border. Cheatani added the caption, “Remember this? We’re gonna make you run to ur underground shelters again. Only Hezbollah has ever done that to you.”

On December 19, 2015, Cheatani tweeted praise for Samir Kuntar, a terrorist who broke into an apartment building and kidnapped 31-year-old Israeli Danny Haran, as well as his 4-year-old daughter, Einat and murdered them at a nearby beach.
According to eyewitnesses and forensic reports, Kuntar shot Danny to death at close range and then killed Einat by smashing her skull against the rocks with the butt of his rifle.
On November 22, 2013, Cheatani tweeted a photo of a woman, with the caption: “18 year old Sanaa Mehaidli, Bride of the South, SSNP fighter against Israel in Lebanon. Zahrat Al Janoob.”
Sana'a Mehaidli blew herself up in a car next to an Israeli convoy in Jezzine, Lebanon. Two Israeli soldiers were killed and 12 others were injured.

Tokenizing Anti-Zionist Jews
On July 12, 2014, Cheatani tweeted a video of Neturei Karta members holding anti-Zionist signs with the comment: “JEWS AGAINST ISRAEL!”Neturei Karta is an anti-Israel Jewish fringe group whose leader, Yisroel Dovid Weiss, was excommunicated from many Ultra-Orthodox Jewish groups for participating in a 2006 Holocaust denial conference in Iran. The group opposes Zionism on religious grounds and has called to dismantle Israel.

BDS Support

BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
