Overview
Matthew Wisnefsky [Mika Wisnefsky] has justified violence against Israelis, compared Zionists to Nazis, showed support for terrorism and spread hatred of Zionists and Israelis. Wisnefesky has also called for the expulsion of Jews from Israel and the abolition of Israel and the United States, glorified terrorists and whitewashed the terror group Hamas.Wisnefsky has propagated conspiracy theories, expressed hatred of America and demonized Jewish organizations and Zionism.

As of the same date, Wisnefsky’s LinkedIn said Wisnefsky was studying for a master’s degree in “Race, Ethnicity, and Postcolonial Studies” at University College London (UCL), slated to graduate in 2022.
In March 2018, Wisnefsky reportedly ran unsuccessfully for public office in Connecticut for the 32nd District State Senate seat.
In September 2021, Wisnefsky indicated on Facebook that Wisnefsky “Moved to London, United Kingdom.”
As of May 2022, Wisnefsky used the handle “nbjewbolshevik” on Twitter and the handle “mxmtw423” on Instagram.
Wisnefsky’s post on X was referring to the April 14, 2024 Iranian missile attack on Israel, which took place during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. At the time of the missile attack, it was still April 13, 2024, in the U.S.
On April 14, 2024, Iran fired “Over 350 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, armed drones and rockets” toward Israel in an unprecedented attack. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and several international partners intercepted 99% of the projectiles. The IDF named the operation Iron Shield. The missile attack took place during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.
Iranian media claimed the attack was in retaliation for an alleged Israeli strike on an Iranian consular building in Damascus, Syria, earlier that month. The Damascus attack killed several members of designated terrorist organization Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including a senior commander and a brigadier general.
Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.

In October 2021, six prisoners affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)'s armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, chose to prolong their hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention by Israel. The six men were Kayed al-Fasfus, Miqdad al-Qawasmeh, Alaa Aaraj, Hisham Abu Hawwash, Shadi Abu-Akr and Ayyad Hureimi.

It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.

Glorifying Terrorists (PIJ, PFLP)
On November 3, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “palestinian political prisoners have been on hunger strike for months. some have not eaten in over 100 days. their families are asking for a social media storm, please help us spread the hashtag #FreeThemAll.”In October 2021, six prisoners affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)'s armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, chose to prolong their hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention by Israel. The six men were Kayed al-Fasfus, Miqdad al-Qawasmeh, Alaa Aaraj, Hisham Abu Hawwash, Shadi Abu-Akr and Ayyad Hureimi.
On October 5, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “‘everything in this world can be robbed and stolen, except one thing; this one thing is the love that emanates from a human being towards a solid commitment to a conviction or cause’-ghassan kanafani.”
Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.
Whitewashing Hamas
On April 27, 2019, Wisnefsky tweeted: “Hamas was antisemitic, they aren’t since they revised their charter but for a while they were.”Hamas is a designated terrorist organization founded in 1987 that is dedicated to destroying Israel and killing Jews. Since 2001, Hamas has launched thousands of rockets at Israel and on October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped over 200 hostages, including children and the elderly.

On October 11, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “zionists intentionally bombed iraqi jewish synagogues to stir discord among iraqi jews and to basically intentionally coerce them into settling in israel by claiming they weren’t safe in iraq and blaming the attacks on the non jewish population.”On August 31, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “while there certainly was antisemitism in the soviet union ‘the plight of soviet jewry’ was a psy op [psychological operation] invented by israel to make american jews more pro zionist and anti communist.”
On June 7, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “tbh [to be honest] a lot of them [Holocaust survivors] wanted to stay in europe and go back home if there was a focus in rebuilding their communities and fighting antisemitism in europe but europe chose to expel them and facilitate settler colonialism in israel.”
On March 19, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “israel literally did a covert operation to spread false propaganda to jews in the states that there was a genocide of jews going on in the soviet union so they would give even more support to israel.”

On October 29, 2024, Wisnefsky posted on X: “...most jews and almost the entirety of jewish institutions full throatedly support the annihilation of palestinians.”
On June 1, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “we need to build an antizionist jewish community rt/share [retweet] if you are a jew who wants to fight zionism and abolish the colonial genocidal state of israel and tear down jewish zionist institutions.”
On May 8, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “the unfortunate reality is mainstream jewish orgs [organizations] aren’t advocates for jews as much as they are advocates for the zionist colonial project of which they were founded to advocate for. they will never speak out on zionist colonial violence bc it’s what they were built to perpetuate.”
On January 11, 2021, Wisnefsky tweeted: “white jews really need to grapple with the fact that the adl [Anti-Defamation League] is a white supremacist organisation and actively exists to protect white zionist jewish interests.”
The ADL was founded in 1913 “To stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
On August 27, 2020, Wisnefsky tweeted: “...the jewish community rlly [really] needs to start treating a great majority of synagogues in the states as the zionist institutions that they are and the colonial force that they can represent in their advocacy for israel.”
