Hatred of Zionists
On April 19, 2019, Houraney tweeted: “Good night to everyone except Zionists.”On May 5, 2020, Houraney tweeted: “The worst part is being in class and hearing some white zionist future CIA boy give his opinions

like shut up Jonathan no one wants to hear your opinion on Hezbollah.”Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Israeli Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites. This claim alleges that Israeli Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel.
On May 13, 2021, Houraney tweeted: “As a Syrian I am staunchly against sanctions since they typically hurt the people more than the government but I could not care less about zionist settlers…Sanction them like we did apartheid South Africa.”
On the same date, Houraney tweeted in response to a tweet from Yair Netanyahu, son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “Go back to Poland then ya ibn alkalb [you son of a b**tch].”
On May 30, 2021, Houraney tweeted a video that started [00:00:01] with a photo of a boy holding a sign that said: “f**k them zionists.” Another image in the video [00:00:04] showed five men along with the phrases: “F**K Israel” and “ALL MY HOMIES HATE Israel.”

On July 26, 2021, Houraney tweeted: “Literally the entirety of ‘Isr*el’ is on stolen Palestinian and Syrian land and is an illegal settlement so let's not give these food chains and corporations points for choosing which illegal settlement to operate on.”
Houraney’s tweet included another tweet that said: “Ben & Jerry's isn't the first company to stop doing business with Israel's illegal West Bank settlements. McDonald’s Israel has ‘refused to open any branches in the West Bank.’ #FreePalestine.”
On July 19, 2021, ice cream company Ben & Jerry’s announced it would stop all product sales in “Occupied Palestinian Territory.” The BDS movement celebrated the decision, calling on the ice cream company to boycott the State of Israel in its entirety. However, company owner Unilever overrode the subsidiary’s decision after multiple US states decided to divest public funds from Unilever.
On May 12, 2021, Houraney responded to a tweet featuring a video with TV host Trevor Noah, where he discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Houraney tweeted: “It's not a conflict it's ethnic cleansing what's not clicking here Trevor.”
On May 5, 2019, Houraney tweeted: “Israel is a racist apartheid illegal state never forget.”
On April 8, 2019, referring to US politician Beto O’Rourke, Houraney tweeted: “Haha TRASH. Any candidate who supports Israel supports apartheid and ethnic cleansing. Is this your liberal king????”
In the same thread, Houraney tweeted: “And PLEASE don't hit me with the ‘oh but he wants [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu out’ idc [I don’t care] who's the prime minister Israel is an illegal settler colony that shouldn't exist in the first place. You can oust the PM but you can't oust the racist IDF [Israel Defense Forces] and the Zionism that fuels it.”
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
Hatred of America
On January 22, 2019, Houraney tweeted: “Democrat or Republican, both parties are coplicit in supporting genocidal apartheid regime.Tfu 3laykon [Spit on you].” She was responding to a tweet from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussing a meeting with then-U.S. Senator Kamala Harris. On January 4, 2020, Houraney tweeted: “lmaooo America has yall so brainwashed that you think anyone that joins the military and kills a little brown kid is a hero.” She was responding to a January 3, 2020 tweet that said: “...please pray for the 750 soldiers who are deploying to Iraq as we speak. Real heros are putting their lives on the line while ya’ll playing
.”On August 20, 2020, Houraney tweeted: “This [U.S. presidential] election is literally just one racist zionist cop loving war apologist duo vs another like I really just hate this country.”

On July 26, 2021, Houraney tweeted: “...I'm not even going to consider this progress. We need to push BDS until these corporations leave occupied Palestine completely and cease normalizing operations within an apartheid state. Anything less is performative and half-a**ed activism.” She was referring to Ben & Jerry’s and McDonald’s decision not to sell food in Israel’s West Bank.On July 19, 2021, Houraney tweeted: “KEEP PUSHING BDS!!!” She was referring to Ben & Jerry’s decision to boycott sales in Israel’s West Bank.

If I did I would follow the BDS guidelines ofc [of course], anyway thoughts on ethical traveling?”
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
