Overview

Mahdi Jabr has praised Hitler, mocked the Holocaust, expressed support for terrorism and spread anti-Semitism on social media.

He has also praised Yasser Arafat, cheered for a Hamas abduction of an Israeli soldier and spread conspiracy theories and incitement and hatred of Israel.

In 2015 and 2016, Jabr was affiliated with the Muslim American Society (MAS) - Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA).

In 2017, Jabr was a Dabke dancer with Fursaan Al Arab.

Praising Hitler

On May 13, 2012, Jabr tweeted: “@mo_jabr lmao tell him I'm feelin like hitler.”

On May 13, 2014, Jabr tweeted: “@rewrote_ hitler was a great man.”

On July 13, 2014, Jabr tweeted a photo of Hitler with his fists up and wrote: “Hitler in his grave just bumpin ‘WE DEM BOYZ’”

Trivializing the Holocaust

On March 26, 2016, Jabr tweeted: “Your header is so ironic, given the fact you just tweeted this & Israel is a genocidal reincarnation of WW2 Germany. https://twitter.com/suarezstyle/status/713771788522622976 …🌘”

On November 11, 2015, Jabr tweeted: “Pro Israelis love acting like the resistance of Palestinians isn't just like the Jewish resistance of the Warsaw Ghetto.”

On August 10, 2014, Jabr tweeted: “Israel is supposedly building (detaining) concentration camps outside of Gaza. Do your research.”

On January 19, 2015, Jabr tweeted: “I swear twitter could start the 3rd intifada if we met up overseas.”

On October 13, 2015, Jabr tweeted: “Palestinian women stand on the front lines to help aid the resistance in Beit-El. #ThirdIntifada #FreePalestine.”

In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.

On January 22, 2017, in response to a tweet by CNN that read: “White House says it is in early stages of discussions to move the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem http://cnn.it/2jdk7eW ” Jabr tweeted: “#Intifada.”

On December 5, 2017, in response to a tweet that read: “HAMAS declares Friday a DAY OF RAGE to protest Trump's intention to move US embassy to Jerusalem and calls for confrontations with Israel after Friday prayers,” Jabr tweeted: “Basically another intifada without calling it an intifada. Nice.”

Praising Yasser Arafat

On November 11, 2016, Jabr tweeted: “Happy Veterans Day to a Palestinian legend who devoted his life to the cause of freedom for our people! RIP Yasser Arafat🙏🏼” The tweet featured a photo of Yasser Arafat.

A year earlier, on November 11, 2015, Jabr tweeted: “God Bless one of Palestine's greatest fallen veterans, Yasser Arafat. Happy Veterans Day.”

Yasser Arafat was the former leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and is known by some as the “father of modern terrorism.” Arafat reportedly told Arab diplomats in a secret meeting in 1996: "We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare and population explosion. Jews will not want to live among Arabs. I have no use for Jews. They are and remain Jews."

Cheering Hamas Abductions

On July 20, 2014, the day Israeli soldier Oron Shaul was abducted by Hamas, Jabr tweeted: “An Israeli soldier was captured by Hamas. TAKBEER!”

Shaul was caught in a deadly ambush in Shejaiya, Gaza, by Hamas terrorists during Operation Protective Edge (OPE). Hamas celebrated the capture of Shaul and even produced a song. The IDF later determined that Shaul was dead and that his body was held by Hamas.

Spreading Conspiracy Theories

On December 27, 2014, Jabr tweeted: “Enjoy the gas prices while we can. Big ups to the secret alliance between Israel, America, and ISIS.”

On December 5, 2017, Jabr tweeted: “Not many people know Israel has been digging underneath Al Aqsa in hopes to ruin the foundation it lies on, to cause a ‘natural earthquake’ via controlled demolition/explosives from a distance.”

On October 18, 2015, Jabr tweeted: “Israel wants Hamas to retaliate so they can twist the media around & blame them. Right now, they have no reason to attack Palestinians.”

On August 2, 2014, Jabr tweeted: “It hit me that Israel isn't controlling Palestine. They control the rest of the Arab world & America EXCEPT Palestine. We resist, to exist.”

On July 29, 2014, Jabr tweeted: “@CountOnRodney I was just speaking of it in the control of mainstream media and corporate businesses. Zionists run s**t lol.”

On the same day, Jabr tweeted: “@NikoWavy because most corporations in America are run by zionists. People that endorse them, support Israel often.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On February 18, 2017, Jabr tweeted: “Today's a beautiful day to tweet about how s**tty Israel is. So here it is... Israel is s**t. The end.”

On August 21, 2016, Jabr was asked on Curiouscat: “Real talk. What is your input in the socio-poliginal effects in Israel and Palestine during the current conditions.” Jabr replied: “Israel can suck my a**.”

On June 10, 2016, Jabr tweeted: “Guys, @SheliJ blocked me 🙁 I just wanna learn more about Israel culture. You know... Aside from colonization, illegal settlements, & killing.”

On March 24, 2016, Jabr tweeted: “Tbh just make Israel its own sovereign state in America since they're such great allies. We'll give y'all visiting rights to Pali... Again.”

On March 21, 2016, Jabr tweeted: “Great to know you unapologetically stand with a colonizing, fascist, murderous & inhumane state such as Israel.”

On March 18, 2016, Jabr tweeted: “Israel also allows illegal settlements on Palestinian land & the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians to colonize land.”
