As of November 2021, Suleiman used the handle “@bintbaladiya” and the screen name “Until Liberation” on Twitter.
Suleiman has expressed support for the terrorist organization Hamas and promoted hatred of Israel while she was in high school.
Hatred of Israelis
On August 10, 2020, Suleiman continued: “Saying ‘we want peace
’ as an Israeli is meaningless. Renounce the 70+ year genocidal occupation by acknowledging the tyranny of your State and the majority of its actors, and stand in solidarity with those that it oppresses.”On June 2, 2017, Suleiman tweeted: “Don't you f**king dare call yourself a feminist if you go see Wonder Woman.” The 2017 movie “Wonder Woman” featured Israeli actress Gal Gadot in the main role.
Suleiman’s tweet included a screenshot of texts that read: “I don’t see how someone can attend a showing featuring a main character who served in the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] and call themselves a feminist…”
Hatred of Zionists
On February 5, 2020, Suleiman tweeted: “Good morning to everyone except zionists.”On April 18, 2020, Suleiman tweeted: “Palestinians/Palestinian allies that don’t stand with the thousands of Palestinian Christians and Jews are no better than the Zionist filth they supposedly fight against. Our erasure is not a religious one - it’s a geographic genocide of identity.”
Hatred of Israel and America
On August 10, 2020, Suleiman tweeted: “No, it absolutely is f**k Israel. Any antizionist Israeli understands the depth of their colonialist, genocidal regime and therefore their personal ethical imperative to vocally renounce the entire country’s actions.”In the same thread, Suleiman concluded: “So if Palestinians et all oppressed peoples ask you to say ‘f**k ____’? You best damn well stand in solidarity. What type of clownery are you even saying. And tf [the f**k] are you bringing in Iran for?”
On May 15, 2020, Suleiman tweeted: “Palestinians: Never forget. Every single Arab nation has backstabbed us. We cannot keep acting as if one will come to our rescue. Today commemorates our ethnic cleansing. Our exile. Our ongoing struggle for justice and liberation. But most of all it commemorates our resiliency.”
In the same thread, she tweeted: “To be Palestinian is to be proud, to be strong, and to be unrelenting in the face of our ethnic genocide. Today the Nakba stands to document our uproot and expulsion; tomorrow it will be a testament to the world of the resiliency of the Palestinian people.”
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
On May 10, 2020, Suleiman tweeted: “Stop normalizing the s**t that AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee] does. 3aib 3alkum [shame on them] man quit degrading your roots.”
The stated mission of AIPAC is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”
On April 14, 2020, Suleiman tweeted a screenshot of a man burning an Israeli flag. The image was captioned: “- Let us spit on this flag. Tfu. -Tfu.”

.”Anti-Israel Activism
On March 29, 2017, UI’s Arab Student Associaton (ASA) and UISHR co-hosted an event titled: “An Evening with Remi Kanazi.” According to an article published by UI’s newspaper, The Daily Iowan, Suleiman said “It’s very important to get all sides of the story, and Remi does a wonderful job of projecting that to a wide range of communities.”Poet Remi Kanazi is known for his aggressively anti-Israel spoken-word performances. He has supported terrorism and has compared Israel to both ISIS and the Ku Klux Klan.
On March 30, 2020, Suleiman tweeted several photos of herself posing next to anti-Israel activist Remi Kanazi. She wrote: “On this #Land_Day 3 years (and 1 day) ago @undeuxtroiscat and I hosted @Remroum [Remi Kanazi] at UIowa. Time really does fly when your life’s committed to advocacy.”
On May 21, 2020, Suleiman promoted on Twitter a Zoom webinar titled: “THE ONGOING NAKBA PRISONERS, REFUGEES AND RESISTANCE UNDER COVID-19.” Suleiman wrote in her tweet: “Hop onto this wonderful discussion of the Nakba, Refugees, and Resistance under COVID with @nooranhamdan and @mikopeled happening NOW.”
Miko Peled is an anti-Israel activist who has said [00:00:06] the Israeli army is “one of the best trained, best equipped, best fed, terrorist organizations in the world” and claimed [00:00:16] that “their entire purpose is terrorism.” In September 2016, Peled tweeted that US aid to Israel causes people to think that “Jews have a reputation 4being sleazy thieves.”
Supporting BDS
On June 29, 2020, Suleiman tweeted: “While you’re at it stop explaining to people the efficacy of BDS. The information is readily available, and our responsibility is to lead these tactics. We cannot be wasting our time explaining their validity to those who deny or don’t understand our colonialized oppression.”On July 24, 2017, Suleiman tweeted: “F**k y'all attempting to criminalize me for not buying and supporting products that pay to slaughter my people. Prison here I justly come.”
Suleiman’s tweet included a video from AJ Plus (AJ+) Senior Presenter Dena Takruri who spoke in opposition to the Israel Anti-Boycott Act (H.R. 1697/ S. 720).
The Israel Anti-Boycott Act (S.720/H.R. 1697) declared that U.S. policy opposed a March 24, 2016 UN Human Rights Council Resolution which called to boycott and divest from Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
High School Supporting Hamas
On August 1, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in Gaza, Suleiman tweeted: “Blaming Hamas/the resistance for firing a single rocket is like blaming a woman for punching her rapist. #GazaUnderAttack #FreePalestine.”Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
Also on August 1, 2014, Suleiman tweeted: “‘Palestinian militants in Gaza’?! The word militants insinuates an army. Palestine has no army, only revolutionists. #Gaza #FreePalestine.”
On the same date, Suleiman tweeted: “There's nothing more beautiful than a demonstration in which the flags of every faction of the resistance is held high in unity.”
High School Hatred of Israel
On July 25, 2014, during OPE, Suleiman tweeted: “Although not confined to a single room, Gaza has been turned into a concentration camp by the people who claim to have escaped from it#Gaza.”
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.
On July 23, 2014, Suleiman tweeted: “The Gaza bombardment is not a war; it's murder on an industrial scale, - and an attempt at generational genocide. #PalestineResists #Gaza.”
