Lee Soffel [Lee M. Soffel] disseminates Israel-hatred on social media. 

Although Soffel claims on his Twitter description to be “anti-Zionist NOT anti-Semitic,” some of his tweets reveal that Soffel is also deeply anti-Semitic. For instance, on January 20, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@RachelSteinmetz That meme makes abt as much sense as u do. Typical Zionazi, ur Jewish so u dont have to respect anyones life or property.”

Soffel is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Soffel works as a trader in Hoboken, NJ.

Spreading Anti-Zionist Conspiracy Theories

On December 28, 2014, Soffel tweeted: “@freeworldun @mayana_mayra @intifada Because the media are mostly jewish and have their own misguided agenda.”

On April 22, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “Wonder why @FoxNews @BBC @CNN @nypost doesn't show this side of #israel. Zionists truly do control main stream media.”

On December 28, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “Leave to Zionist mouthpiece @FoxNews to only display attacks on Israelis when its the Pals being oppressed & ethnically cleansed #mediabias.”

On January 1, 2017, Soffel tweeted: “Gross. Unfortunately Hollywood is run by occupation & apartheid loving, child murdering, home demolishing Zionists. #boycottisrael”

On January 21, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@mrswartsoff IDGAF what religion u are. Zionists still trying to make this abt religion. Not gonna argue w/Zioturds, u cant be reasoned with.”

On April 24, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “U can't argue w/ziofreaks. U show them pics they say they are photoshopped or from Syria. Ignorance is bliss lol.”

On April 19, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@eddie1971nyc @AbbsWinston1 U would think a Ziotroll who trolls for a living could speak English. But u have to be moronic to support Israel.”

On January 23, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@trensabby @Ben_Israeli Dont even bother with that guy Ben. He can't be reasoned with don't waste ur time. I blocked him. Full blown Ziotard.”

Supporting a Hamas Militant

On January 27, 2016, Soffel tweeted in support of Hamas militant, Muhammad al-Qiq, who was placed under administrative detention for his terror-related activities. Although Israel’s Supreme Court reviewed the charges against Al-Qiq and found them significant grounds, justifying his detention, Soffel wrote: “So they won't charge him but just want to keep him in jail indefintely?? Wouldnt expect anything less from #Zionazis.” Al-Qiq was released in May of 2016.

On August 10, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@James_J_Marlow @OccPalGaza @antiharper101 Israel is 10x the terrorist organization that Hamas & Islamic Jihad are.”

Hamas is a designated terrorist organization by the European Union, Canada, Australia, the United States and Israel.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) is a terror group “whose objective is the destruction of the State of Israel and the establishment of a sovereign, Islamic Palestinian state.” PIJ is backed by Iran and has killed dozens of Israelis in suicide bombings and other attacks.

Equating Israel and Israelis with Nazis

On August 9, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@DavidMGold32 Gaza is hardly Nazi Germany. But Gaza is like the blockaded Warsaw Ghetto in Poland in WWII. W/Israel playing role of Nazis.”

On January 5, 2017, Soffel tweeted: “The Israeli gestapo at it again. Just awful. #freePalestine #boycottisrael twitter.com/OccPalGaza/sta…”

On December 29, 2016 he tweeted: “This narcissistic Zionazi needs to be put in Hell ASAP. Typical Zionist scum.”

On February 15, 2016 he tweeted: “RIP UK democracy. Its like we're reliving the Nazi era, except the Zionists are today's Nazis. #israeliapartheid.”

On September 1, 2016 he tweeted: “@StephensWSJ @WSJ Criticizing his refusal to shake hands with an Israeli is like criticizing a Jew not shaking hands w/a Nazi.”

On August 15, 2016 he tweeted: “@israelradioguy Ur delusional. U really were born in wrong generation. U would've made a great propaganda minister for Nazis. #Goebbels.”

On August 8, 2016, he tweeted: “Kids r teargassed, shot, homes r demolished & taken away in mid of the night & Zionists ask why they throw stones ha.”

On December 25, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@LindseyGrahamSCUr legacy will be 1 of supporting endless occupation, apartheid, kidnapping children in mid of night,blockades, murder etc.”

On December 31, 2016, Soffel tweeted: “@RepDLamborn @JewishPress & as an American its reprehensible u support a country that openly calls 4 genocide & eradication of Palestinians.”

On August 10, 2016, he tweeted: “@DavidMGold32 The only genocidal terrorists are the fascist israeli politicians, IOF, & the terrorist squatters they protect.”

On March 11, 2016, he tweeted: “#IOF at it again.The lives of Palestinian children mean absolutely nothing to Zionists. #Gazaunderattack #FUisrael.”
