The anti-Israel event that Kevin Murphy joined was held on February 9, 2024, on the Temple University (Temple) campus, and organized by a pro-terror student activist group. Photos in the profile show he was present for the speeches at the beginning and end of the event. In between the speeches, there was a march across part of the Temple campus.
As of December 2024, Kevin Murphy's LinkedIn profile said he was studying for a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies at Temple, slated to graduate in 2025. Temple is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
However, as of the same date, Kevin Murphy's LinkedIn said he was located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

On February 9, 2024, Temple SJP, a pro-Hamas and pro-terror activist group, held an anti-Israel walkout and rally on the Temple campus. Activists began at the Bell Tower and then marched to an area next to O'Connor Plaza and the Charles Library.
The Temple SJP flyer for the event said: "‼️‼️ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY, & ALUMNI‼️‼️Join us for a walkout and rally on friday, february 9th [sic] at 3pm @ the bell tower!🇵🇸🇵🇸 / We stand in full solidarity with Palestine and demand an end to the genocide and an immediate ceasefire. Bring posters, kuffiyehs, flags, and your loud voices 🚨."
