Equating Israel with Nazi Germany

On October 25, 2018, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “And that's why I really can't understand how Jews who are zionists can't conceptualize that they're supporting a government with similar traits to that of the third Reich.”

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.

Also on October 25, 2018, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “I'm not saying the oppression is exactly the same, but what I am saying is that the Israeli government has done things very eerily similar to what the Germans did.”

Defending Hamas

On February 9, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Like...I love when z*onists say this and ppl [people] look at me crazy as f**k b/c [because] they can’t handle a jew saying that groups like hamas are HONESTLY resisting imperialism and ethnic cleansing, and Israel has set up the conditions for those groups to exist. Like???”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

Also on February 9, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “... hamas and the PA [Palestinian Authority] are resisting colonialism bye.”

Hamas's founding charter calls for the murder of Jews, while the terror group’s “summer camps” have taught children how to wage war.

On February 9, 2021, El Abdallaoui also tweeted: “...groups like hamas and the PA haven’t even done a quarter of the things the IDF and/or US military had done. So if hamas and other groups are ‘terrorists,’ then you HAVE to call the IDF terrorists Like??? Sorry for the rant I just can’t with this.”

On October 15, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “‘Hamas is a terrorist organization’ 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨.”

Promoting Incitement

On May 9, 2021, El Abdallaoui shared a photo of herself on Facebook with the caption, “#SaveSheikhJarrah” and Arabic text that translated to “Save the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.” She wrote: “Put an end to zionist terrorism. #SaveSheikhJarrah🇵🇸.”

In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

In the same post, El Abdallaoui included an article with the subtitle: “From Sheikh Jarrah to Damascus Gate to Al-Aqsa Compound, the police have initiated and intensified a campaign of suppression against Palestinians.

Incitement surrounding Al-Aqsa and Sheikh Jarrah were leading factors in Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists firing over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at Israeli population centers from May 10 to 21, 2021. In response to rocket attacks from Gaza, Israel launched “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW),” striking military targets in the terrorist-controlled enclave.

On May 16, 2021, El Abdallaoui shared a photo to Facebook of herself holding her graduation hat and wrote: “Long live Falastin [Palestine]. 🇵🇸F**k Isr*el #classof2021.” The post included a caption that read: “SAVE SHEIKH JARRAH.”

Hatred of Zionists

On July 25, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Before I am a woman, I am a menace to z*onists 😌.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

On May 2, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Me and @lightsofdays talking s**t about z*onists: Moses literally told y’all not to steal s**t so why are y’all stealing s**t.”

On the same day, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “He would truly walk us back to Egypt if he saw how these Zionists act ”

On April 16, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted about actor Adam Sandler: “F**k that zionist mf [motherf**ker].”

Hatred of Israel

On November 27, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “The state of is*ael allows all of Europe to wash their hands of persecution of their Jewish communities while simultaneously having a flagship of imperialism, white supremacy, xenophobia, and settler-colonialism in the ‘Middle East.’”

On May 17, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “THE ISRAELI STATE IS A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.”

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

On May 12, 2021 El Abdallaoui shared a photo on Instagram of someone holding a sign that read: “Jewish moms say ‘F**K iSRAEL!’” Another photo showed a protest sign that read: “ANTISEMITISM is a CRIME ANTI-ZIONISM is our DUTY.”

On the same day, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “We love anti-Zionist Jewish grandmothers.” El Abdallaoui was commenting on a photo that featured an anti-Israel protester holding a sign that read: “THIS 90 year old JEW says ZIONISM IS GENOCIDE.”

On April 26, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “It’s f**k Israel and free Palestine til’ it’s backwards!”

On April 24, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “The fireworks!! Oh no 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔thats so comprable to ethnically cleansing Palestinians & stealing their land for more than 70 years Zionists are really something else.”

On September 29, 2020, El ABdallaoui tweeted: “A relationship should be 50/50, I hate israel and he does too😌😌😌😌.”

On January 7, 2020, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Bro f**k Israel.”

On August 16, 2019, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Sex is a sacred act and you shouldn’t be sharing your body with anyone who doesn’t HATE Israel.”

On August 10, 2019, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Good morning I hate Israel That is all.”

Demonizing Jewish Campus Groups

On August 9, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “Your chapter at minnesota literally banned students for being pro-Palestinian & called the cops on another group of Jewish students doing a sit-in to protest your violently Zionist org ***Correction: hillel is for white, Eastern European, Jewish Zionists.”

El Abdallaoui was responding to a tweet by Hillel International that read: “We'll always be the place where Jewish kids can be Jewish, and that's a promise. 💙Hillel is here for you, ALWAYS.”

Hillel International is a Jewish campus organization serving college students at 850 universities worldwide.

On April 29, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “I’m Jewish student and I’m SO glad to see that Pomona decided to cut funding to hillel & Chabad b/c [because] they are violently pro-Israeli orgs [organizations]. Jewish students should absolutely have space that, but not spaces that constantly forcing Zionism down their throats.”

On April 15, 2021, the SJP and JVP chapters at the Claremont Colleges, which includes Pomona College, introduced a BDS resolution to the Pomona student senate. One part of the resolution effectively mandated [p.2] BDS compliance for pro-Israel and Jewish student organizations like Claremont Hillel and Claremont Chabad. The Chabad Lubavitch group is an ultra-orthodox denomination within the Hasidic Jewish community.

On April 22, 2021, the ASPC Senate passed the resolution. On May 6, 2021, the Pomona senate reportedly passed a modified resolution that omitted the original clause forcing student clubs funded by the Pomona student government to comply with BDS.

Opposing the IHRA Definition of Anti-Semitism

On March 19, 2021, El Abdallaoui co-authored an open letter in the UMN student newspaper, titled: “Opinion: Oppose Minnesota Hillel’s referendum to adopt the IHRA’s working definition of antisemitism.”

In addition to equating Israel with Nazi Germany, the IHRA definition also includes “Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.” It also includes “Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.”

El Abdallaoui’s letter said: “The danger of the referendum lies in the broad nature of the IHRA definition, as well as a clause that defines antisemitism as ‘denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of the State of Israel is a racist endeavor.’ While individuals who support oppressive policies toward Palestinians may feel uncomfortable listening to condemnations of structural racism and colonialism in Israel, to say that such speech is antisemitic is outrageous.”

On May 17, 2021, El Abdallaoudi wrote a Facebook post addressed to “all University of Minnesota members” prior to a student vote on a UMN-Hillel referendum to adopt the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism on campus.

El Abdallaoudi wrote: “this referendum, if passed, would naturally hinder safe spaces for Palestinian students + their allies by conflating critique of Israel's continuous illegal occupation and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, with anti-Semitism.”

El Aballaoudi also said: “I as a Jew, and as the great-great-granddaughter of Holocaust victims, have the right to NOT have my Jewish identity, nor the protection of it, conflated with the same colonialism, imperialism, ethnonationalism, facism, and militarism that has terrorized Jews for generations, and that the state of Israel is built on.”

Solidarity with Yasmeen Mashayekh

In November 2021, El Abdallaoui retweeted in support of Mashayekh who was [00:11:08] in the middle of a national controversy over anti-Semitism she spread on social media that year.

In October 2021, Mashayekh was listed as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Senator for USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering (Viterbi). In May 2021, she tweeted: “I want to f**king kill every motherf**king Zionist.” She also tweeted: “yel3an el yahood [curse the Jews]😌.”

Mashayekh has also spread violent hatred of Israeli Jews, called for the destruction of Israel and America, expressed support for Hamas and glorified terrorists.

Mashayekh was condemned after Canary Mission exposed her anti-Semitic tweets.

SJP Activism

On March 22 2021, El Abdallaoui shared a post on Instagram that featured a screenshot from a section of an article that said she was the Secretary of SJP UMN.

On March 24, 2021, El Abdallaoui shared a graphic on Instagram promoting an event titled: “NEW ERA, NO IHRA: FIGHTING ANTISEMITISM WITH INTEGRITY.” The event was co-organized by SJP UMN, JVP Twin Cities and IfNotNow (INN). The event was billed as an “informational session on the IHRA definition” and “why students and faculty have come together to oppose the adopting of the IHRA definition on campus.”

El Abdallaoui continued: “There is a reason why Minnesota representatives llhan Omar and Betsy McCullum are strong opponents of this definition, in addition to many Jewish students, professors, and organizations worldwide. Link to the panel is in my bio! And remember—professional, graduate, and undergraduate students CAN vote against this referendum until Friday @ 8:00 PM @ vote.umn.edu.”

Betty McCullum is a Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 4th District.

Ilhan Omar was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2018. In February 2019, top Congressional leaders denounced Omar for tweeting anti-Semitic remarks.

Supporting BDS

On November 5, 2021, El Abdallaoui tweeted: “I had my 1st appointment with an Arab woman therapist today after years of being invalidated by these white women, and the FIRST thing she did when I walked into her office was look at my BDS button and say ‘Free Palestine! We always love that!’😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️ ”

SJP UMN - Hosting National SJP 2019

On September 16, 2019, SJP UMN shared a flier on Instagram announcing that the chapter would be hosting the 2019 National SJP Conference on November 1-3, 2019.

SJP UMN wrote on their Instagram post: “We are excited to officially announce that the 9th annual national SJP conference, Beyond Struggle: From Roots to Branches Towards Liberation, will be hosted by Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities (SJP UMN) on Fri.-Sun., November 1-3, 2019 in the Twin Cities, MN…”

SJP UMN - Hosting Anti-Israel Propagandists 2019

On March 30, 2019, SJP UMN and American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) Minnesota co-hosted an event titled: “Palestine Day Conference.”

The Facebook event page description said the events speakers included Miko Peled and Taher Hezallah.

Miko Peled is an anti-Israel activist. In January 2017 Peled said [00:00:06] that the Israeli army was one of the “best trained, best equipped, best fed, terrorist organizations in the world,” and claimed [00:00:16] that “their entire purpose is terrorism.”

Taher Herzallah is the Associate Director of Outreach & Grassroots Organizing of AMP, working to expand AMP activism.

On November 27-29, 2014, during the seventh annual AMP conference, Herzallah idolized [00:47:27] violent revolutionaries as models for change — and rhetorically asked [00:49:06]: “What if, as Muslims we wanted to establish an Islamic state? Is that wrong? What if, as Muslims, we wanted to use violent means to resist occupation? Is that wrong?”

On March 24, 2019, AMP shared on Facebook the program for the conference which included a session run by SJP UMN of a “detailed presentation on how to run a divestment campaign on campus and the important on Palestine in media.”

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.

JVP

JVP was founded in Berkeley, California in 1996, as an activist group with an emphasis on the “Jewish tradition” of peace, social justice and human rights. The organization is currently led by Rebecca Vilkomerson and its board members include Israel critics Naomi Klein, Judith Butler, Noam Chomsky and Tony Kushner.

JVP, which generally employs civil disobedience tactics to disrupt pro-Israel speakers and events, consists of American Jews and non-Jewish “allies” highly critical of Israeli policies. A staunch supporter of the BDS movement, JVP claims to aim its campaigns at companies that either support the Israeli military (Hewlett-Packard) or are active in the West Bank (SodaStream).

Although several Jewish groups critical of Israeli policies, like J Street and Partners for a Progressive Israel, make efforts to operate within the mainstream American Jewish community, JVP functions outside. The group is often criticized for serving as a tokenized Jewish voice for the pro-Palestinian camp and is widely regarded as the BDS movement’s “Jewish wing.”

JVP denies the notion of “Jewish peoplehood” and has even gone so far as to refer to its own Ashkenazi (Jews who spent the Diaspora in European countries) leadership as “white supremacy inside of JVP.”

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has accused JVP of being “the largest and most influential Jewish anti-Zionist group in the United States,” and said the group “exploits Jewish culture and rituals to reassure its own supporters that opposition to Israel not only does not contradict, but is actually consistent with, Jewish value.”

The ADL also claimed that “JVP consistently co-sponsors rallies to oppose Israeli military policy that are marked by signs and slogans  comparing Israel to Nazi Germany, demonizing Jews and voicing support for groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.”

According to the ADL website, JVP “uses its Jewish identity to shield the anti-Israel movement from allegations of anti-Semitism and provide it with a greater degree of legitimacy and credibility.”

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
