Hatred of Israel Supporters
On March 31, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “I hope the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] and everyone who supports it has a rock hard tatti [poop] tmmr [tomorrow] morning and their tatti hole prolapses.”On May 12, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “If you support !sra3L [Israel] you’re a tattisususaalikuttidummyidiotchutiyabhosdike [poop, pee-pee, sister-in-law, b**ch, dummy, idiot, f**ker, c**t].”
.”Calling for Israel’s Destruction
On May 12, 2021, during OGW, Bhuiyan tweeted: “There is no peaceful coexistence only to d3at4 [death] to !sra3L.”On May 10, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “I want to live long enough to see the d3at4 of Israel.”
On May 9, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Justice would be the dissolution of !srael, you can’t look at literal ethnic cleansing and want peace between the two people...”
Supporting Terrorism
On May 12, 2021, during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls(OGW) against Hamas, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Keep on attacking !sra3L [Israel]
.” Bhuiyan’s tweet was in response to an IDF tweet that showed a map of central Israel covered with red dots. The tweet said: “Every red dot marks sirens in Israel over the last 30 minutes: Israel is under attack.”
In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.
On May 15, 2020, Bhuiyan shared a Facebook post that read: “#Nakba is temporary. #Intifada is forever! #Nakba72 #Palestine.”
Since the early 2000s, the term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” has carried the connotation of violence.
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
Hatred of Zionists
On May 22, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “I wish there were a word strong enough to describe my dislike of Z!on!sts [Zionists] but there isn’t so I’ll settle for loathe, abhor, execrate, etc.”On May 21, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted about Israeli actress about Gal Gadot, writing: “No I hate her cause she’s a Zionist.”
On May 19, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “...Coexistence with Zionists is what I find impossible.”
On January 19, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Good day to everyone but Cops and racists and zionists.”
On June 20, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Anyways f**k Israel, F**k zionists and Free Palestine.”
On June 11, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “ACAB- All Cops Are Bastards AZAB- All Zionists Are Bastards.”
Hatred of Israelis
On June 4, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Drakes ghost writer was !sra3Li them Mfs [mother f**kers] love appropriating cultures.”On May 20, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “You know it’s crazy how much y’all try to make this a religious issue just to push a narrative of Muslims vs Jews. When it’s really Europeans with a superiority complex vs indigenous Arab people.”
One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Israeli Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites.
This claim alleges that Israeli Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel. The Khazar myth is a common version of this claim which is used to delegitimize [00:02:16] the existence of the modern State of Israel.
On September 2, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “The thing is, Israelis aren’t Middle Eastern. They’re mostly European Jews that took refuge in Palestine during and after World War 2. Afterwards, they were given control of certain parts until they got control of nearly all of it.”
On August 16, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “It’s not about Islam, Israelis have literally stolen every single part of their culture from the Palestinians. Not surprised tho, white people have a tendency to do that.”
Hatred of Israel
On April 20, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “If you could delete some place non-existent, what would it be and why Israel.”On April 30, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Yea we hate israel tf [the f**k] we look like.”
On May 12, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Isr**l can’t have politicians if it doesn’t exist
.”On August 5, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “F**k Israel, all my homies hate Israel.”
On March 11, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Just wanted to remind y’all it’s F**k Israel, all day every day.”
On May 13, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “People who say ‘both sides are wrong’ are by far the most b**ch made Mfs [motherf**kers] on the planet. What part of trying to defend your land and people against a fascist regime that is committing genocide makes them wrong.”
On May 14, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “There is no neutrality when it comes to the genocide of Palestinians. Neutrality is complacency, appeasement and being a b**ch.”
On May 16, 2021, Bhuiyan shared a Facebook post that read: “Israel is systematically land grabbing… It’s ethnic cleansing, y’all. It’s apartheid. It’s racist af. It’s settler colonialism. Oh yeah, and it’s a violation of international human rights law (criminal and immoral).” The Facebook post also featured a series of anti-Israel maps.
The maps claim that lands once controlled by Britain, Egypt and Jordan as autonomous “Palestinian land” were purportedly stolen by Israel. In February 2016, publisher McGraw-Hill Education recalled copies of a college textbook containing the fraudulent maps. In October 2015, American cable news network MSNBC apologized for airing a similar series of maps and retracted them.
Anti-Semitism
On July 22, 2020, Bhuiyan tweeted: “For one, @BernieSanders was actively voicing his support for Palestine. Given that most of our media is controlled by Zionists it is it a surprise that they sabotaged him.”The assertion that Jews control the media has been traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
On May 15, 2021, Bhuiyan tweeted: “Y’all gunna expect Jews to move on from the Holocaust? Palestinians to move on from the Nakba? …”
Supporting BDS
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
MSA
The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."
The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.
The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
