Overview
Jake Morphonios [Jake Rondle Morphonios] has spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, trivialized the Holocaust and promoted hatred of Zionists.In 2022, Morphonios was a member of the anti-Israel campus group Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).
In 2017, Morphonios reportedly ran the End Times Prophecy website.
As of May 2024, Morphonios’s LinkedIn profile said he was an “Independent Investigative Journalist” at the Blackstone Intelligence Network (Blackstone Intel) since 2012.
Also as of May 2024, Morphonios’s LinkedIn Intro said he was an “Assistant Scoutmaster” at the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), as well as a coach for the Colfax Youth Basketball and a “Sunday School Teacher.”
In May 2020, Blackstone Intel’s since-deleted website said Morphonios was their “chief investigator” leading “investigations into the shadowy world of the Deep State and Rothschild New World Order Syndicate.” In March 2022, Morphonios indicated on his since-deleted website that he was the founder of Blackstone Intel.
As of May 2024, Morphonios’s YouTube channel, Blackstone Intelligence, had 193K subscribers. Morphonios’s YouTube channel, “Jake Morphonios”, had 22.8K subscribers.
As of the same date, Morphonios’s Facebook page, Blackstone Intelligence Network, had 24K followers.
As of May 2024, Morphonios’s LinkedIn said he was located in Kernersville, North Carolina.
Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories
On October 1, 2021, in a video titled: “Israel Lobby Brings VP [Kamala] Harris to Heel,” Morphonios said [00:00:01]: “[U.S.] Vice president Harris is on her knees prostrating herself and begging for the privilege of kissing the ring of her master, the State of Israel…”The “Israel Lobby” is a conspiracy theory alleging Israeli and Jewish control over the U.S. government. Proponents of the theory decry the negative effects on American interests, particularly in foreign policy.
Weir is the founder and executive director of the anti-Semitic organization If Americans Knew (IAK). She has reportedly been “a repeat guest of white supremacist Clay Douglas on his hate radio show.” The Anti Defamation League (ADL) has exposed Weir’s propagation of numerous anti-Semitic and anti-Israel conspiracy theories.
In 2017, JVP launched the “Deadly Exchange (DX)” campaign, which accused American Jewish organizations of promoting human rights abuses. JVP also released a video that blamed [00:04:04] U.S.-based Jewish organizations for violence that occurs against Black and Brown communities, immigrants and activists in the U.S.
The assertion that Jews secretly control Western governments through banking and media has been traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
On April 28, 2019, Morphonios tweeted: “Congressman Jim Traficant was totally correct about the sinister motives of #Israel and the #Zionist infiltration of the US government. #Trump is a tool of [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] #Netanyahu and the Zionists…”
James Traficant was an American politician and convicted felon who spread conspiracy theories about Israel controlling the American government and media.
On February 17, 2019, Morphonios tweeted a meme that depicted a phone call between then-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Devil. The Devil asks: “So WHERE is the Jerusalem temple for my Antichrist to rule Earth from?”
Netanyahu is depicted as replying: “It takes time, your majesty. But as you know, this is why Lord Rothschild chose two real estate developers, Trump & Kushner, to run the U.S. government.”
Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was founded in 1913 “To stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
Morphonios also said [00:00:47]: “...some of these children who have been subjected to the bullying tactics of these hateful Jewish White Supremacists feel so much despair that they feel as though they have no other choice than to commit suicide.”
In the same video, Morphonios also said [00:20:39]: “This group, the ADL, was formed in 1913. That’s the same year that a cabal of Jewish bankers formed the Federal Reserve bank that took control of the United States monetary system and this was just four years before the Jewish Bolsheviks in Russia went in, killed the Russian Tsar, massacred his family, and overthrew the government in Russia, so that they could force a system of Jewish Marxism upon tens of millions of people in Europe…”
Trivializing the Holocaust
On March 31, 2018, Morphonios posted on his since-deleted Bitchute account a video of one of his podcasts, titled: “AN HONEST CONVERSATION ABOUT THE JEWISH HOLOCAUST.”In his podcast, Morphonios said [00:06:48]: “...the story of the Jewish Holocaust is one gigantic piece of Zionist propaganda…There was a Holocaust. I wouldn’t say it was any worse than the Holocaust of many of the other groups that also died in similar or greater numbers. So, I agree with you that six million Jews were not killed in a Jewish Holocaust.”
“Holocaust revisionism” is a form of anti-Semitism where proponents deny or minimize key aspects of the Holocaust.
Morphonios added [00:08:23]: “...there were gas chambers there, yes, but not for gassing and killing the Jews. It was to eradicate the little critters that were carrying the typhoid, the fleas and such. A good number of the Jews died from starvation, as well. But, a lot of that, it’s not because the Germans were outright starving them, like that was some goal of theirs.”
Morphonios went on to say [00:10:25]: “But I also agree...that the slaughter of the German people themselves, the Germans, after World War II was far worse than was done to the Jews during the war.”
On April 24, 2019, Morphonios tweeted: “...Honest pursuit of true history reveals that, over time, errors in stories arise due to political correctness & other agendas. The orthodox story of the Holocaust is brimming with historical inaccuracies (& some outright lies).”
Hatred of Zionists
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
On June 23, 2019, Morphonios tweeted that conservative Jewish journalist Ben Shapiro was “a typical, bloodthirsty conscience-deprived #Zionist.”
On May 3, 2019, Morphonios tweeted: “...Trump is a tool in the hands of #Satan and his #Zionist minions to foment theft, war, bloodshed and hell on earth.”
On May 1, 2019, Morphonios tweeted: “[Former U.S. ambassador to the UN] John Bolton is a #Zionist who represents the interests of #Israel. He is anti-American, anti-freedom & if he gets his way, by the time it’s all done, America will be a heaping pile of nuclear ashes. The zionists are a clear and present danger to America. We must fight them!”
On November 5, 2018, Morphonios tweeted: “The Zionists hate the Palestinians because the people of Palestine are too stubborn to allow themselves to be robbed of their lands, history and heritage by racist and violent European colonialists.”
On November 3, 2018, Morphonios tweeted: “...Zionists are terrified of the world learning about their schemes - which is why they deploy an electronic army to flag our videos. #BDS.”
On October 14, 2018, Morphonios tweeted: “I see no difference between the rope-wielding KKK terrorists of yesterday and the stone-wielding Zionist terrorists of today.If Palestinian farmers had guns to defend themselves & their property, these racist, colonist Jews would not be so bold. #BDS.”
Producing Anti-Israel “Documentary Series”
On October 31, 2018, Morphonios posted on his since-deleted Bitchute account a video titled: “FREE PALESTINE! A NEW SERIES ON ZIONIST OPPRESSION.”In the video, Morphonios said [00:02:22]: “...the actions of the Zionists in Palestine and their systematic abuse of the Palestinian people is the canary in the coal mine. The Zionists are not content to confine their schemes to that part of the world, they have infiltrated the governments of nations all across the globe, including my own government right here in the USA.”
Morphonios went on to say [00:03:48]: “The fascists in Israel are doing over there to subjugate the masses, that’s just the foreshadowing of what they’re planning on doing to us here in the United States,” and [00:05:47]: “I truly do believe that there is no greater threat to the safety and security of the American People, in the world today than the threat of Zionist fascism.”
Morphonios concluded [00:07:12]: “I humbly ask for your support for this series...with a financial contribution, because my goal is to transform this series into a documentary video that can be distributed to the masses. I then intend to go out on a speaking tour to share what I have learned with as many people as I can…”
JVP
JVP was founded in Berkeley, California in 1996, as an activist group with an emphasis on the “Jewish tradition” of peace, social justice and human rights. The organization is currently led by Rebecca Vilkomerson and its board members include Israel critics Naomi Klein, Judith Butler, Noam Chomsky and Tony Kushner.
JVP, which generally employs civil disobedience tactics to disrupt pro-Israel speakers and events, consists of American Jews and non-Jewish “allies” highly critical of Israeli policies. A staunch supporter of the BDS movement, JVP claims to aim its campaigns at companies that either support the Israeli military (Hewlett-Packard) or are active in the West Bank (SodaStream).
Although several Jewish groups critical of Israeli policies, like J Street and Partners for a Progressive Israel, make efforts to operate within the mainstream American Jewish community, JVP functions outside. The group is often criticized for serving as a tokenized Jewish voice for the pro-Palestinian camp and is widely regarded as the BDS movement’s “Jewish wing.”
JVP denies the notion of “Jewish peoplehood” and has even gone so far as to refer to its own Ashkenazi (Jews who spent the Diaspora in European countries) leadership as “white supremacy inside of JVP.”
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has accused JVP of being “the largest and most influential Jewish anti-Zionist group in the United States,” and said the group “exploits Jewish culture and rituals to reassure its own supporters that opposition to Israel not only does not contradict, but is actually consistent with, Jewish values.”
The ADL also claimed that “JVP consistently co-sponsors rallies to oppose Israeli military policy that are marked by signs and slogans comparing Israel to Nazi Germany, demonizing Jews and voicing support for groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.”
According to the ADL website, JVP “uses its Jewish identity to shield the anti-Israel movement from allegations of anti-Semitism and provide it with a greater degree of legitimacy and credibility.”
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
