Islam Hamideh

Overview

Islam Hamideh has spread hatred of Jews, propagated anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and defended the terror group Hamas. She has also compared Israelis to Nazis and spread hatred of Israel.

In November 2017, Hamideh’s LinkedIn page said that she was “Actively seeking employment.” Her LinkedIn also said she attended the Cleveland Institute of Dental-Medical Assistants (CIDMA) in 2015. As of January 2020, Hamideh’s LinkedIn page was deleted. 

As of the same date, Hamideh’s Facebook page said she lived in Brooklyn, NY.

In March 2019, Hamideh tweeted that she would be moving to Ohio and then Los Angeles.

As of January 2020, Hamideh used the name “Islam Alyassini” on Facebook.

Anti-Jewish Tweets

On September 23, 2015, Hamideh tweeted: “Akhhh Allah yin3an el yahood!! [May Allah curse the Jews]”

On the same day, Hamideh tweeted: “Can't stand Jews.”

On October 30, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “I blame our jewish coach #Cavs.”

On August 10, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “@SupportSunni_1 killing one person is as if you have killed all of humanity. You have a special place in hell with the yahood [Jews]. Good luck!”

On July 17, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “Allah yoskhathom el yahood [May Allah be displeased with the Jews].”

On December 25, 2013, Hamideh tweeted: “Yin3en abu el yahood [Curse the fathers of the Jews] in honor of Christmas.”

On September 7, 2013, Hamideh tweeted: “What was I thinking working for a Jew? Oh wait I wasn't.”

On May 27, 2013, Hamideh tweeted: “This Jew would make us work on Memorial Day.”

On October 4, 2012, Hamideh tweeted: “When my mom says ‘s**t 3al yahood’ [s**t on the Jews] hahah.”

On November 10, 2011, Hamideh tweeted: “F**kin jew”

On October 14, 2011, Hamideh tweeted: “F**k jews.”

Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories

On January 8, 2017, Hamideh tweeted: “It's 2017 and Zionist Jews still rule the media and everything else in America it's really pathetic.”

On March 4, 2015, Hamideh tweeted: “America will always be Israel's puppet. Shame.”

On July 20, 2014, Hamideh tweeted a fabricated quote falsely attributed to former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The tweet read: “Don't worry about American pressure on Israel, the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it.-Ariel Sharon, October 3, 2001.”

Defending Hamas

On August 8, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “Lawlsss when people call Hamas a terrorist organization... HELLOO al Qaeda and ISIS is what u call a terror a group!”

On July 29, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “The video of Hamas targeting IDF military bases just goes to show that they are after the Zionists Jews and not targeting civilians.”

On July 11, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “@YuriyPartyka they blamed Hamas for the 3 missing Israelis and they have yet to show evidence of who really did it.”

In August 2014, Hamas admitted responsibility for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers at a bus stop on June 12th of that year. The bodies of the abducted boys were found buried in Palestinian-controlled territory on June 30, 2014.

Also on July 11, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “@YuriyPartyka did u also know that Hamas was democratically elected by the people of Gaza in 2006? And it's not a terrorist organization?”

Comparing Israelis to Nazis

On September 23, 2015, Hamideh tweeted: “honestly wish the holocaust never happened... They learned too much from hitler.”

On August 5, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “all this destruction over tunnels as if the Jews didn't do same in the holocaust when they were trapped.”

Also on August 5, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “ISIS and Israel should just become 1 with their nazi mentalities #psychoticHumanbeings.”

On August 4, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “@netanyahu is pretty much hitler with his concentration camp plan for Gaza, he already has 1 for black people in Israel @BarackObama.”

On July 27, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “I swear to God Zionist Jews/pro-Israelis need shrinks!! As if these people took notes from Hitler with the way they think.”

On February 7, 2012, Hamideh tweeted: “Bad for the jews just cause of what hitler did when their doing the same sh*t to palestinians. Don't try to educate me about my own country.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On August 12, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “@SupportSunni_1 that is equivalent to Bashar and Israel. They behead ppl, bomb an 1800 yr old church and kill 700 ppl in 2 days.”

On August 4, 2014, in response to a tweet that read: “Israel has a right to defend itself against Hamas terrorists. Sign the petition & stand with Israel!” Hamideh tweeted: “@SecureAmerica sorry we Americans don't support genocide.”

On July 24, 2014, Hamideh tweeted: “A new intifada is definitely on the rise with the 48,000 Palestinians marching from Ramallah to Jerusalem. Ya rabi yi7meehom fi Falastine 🙏 [May my god protect them in Palestine].”

Since the early 2000s, the term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” has carried the connotation of violence.
