Ghada Bahhur

Overview

Ghada Bahhur has expressed support for terrorists and anti-Israel agitators. She has also demonized Israel as an activist with the Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSC). PSC is an alternative name for Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

Bahhur is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

In 2011, Bahhur was affiliated with the Muslim Students Association (MSA), as well as the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF)

The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a nonprofit organization reportedly set up to “provide urgent humanitarian care for Gaza’s children.” It has been financially linked with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which was shut down by the U.S. government for funneling donations to a terrorist organization.

As of March 2018, Bahhur’s Facebook page said she worked as an “Associate Kindergarten Teacher” at “MICDS - Mary Institute and St Louis Country Day School” in St. Louis, MO, as well as a first grade teacher at the Al Salam Day School in Ballwin, MO.

Bahhur’s Facebook page also said that she attended Maryville University (Maryville) from 2010-2015, where she studied Elementary Education.

As of March 2018, Bahhur goes by the name “Ghada Bahhur Ead” on Facebook and “Ghada Ead” on Pinterest and Instagram.

Supporting Terrorists

On February 21, 2012, Bahhur tweeted: “‘Israel agrees to free Khader Adnan on April 17 in return for ending his 66-day fast over his illegal detention’ #KhaderAdnan.”

Khader Adnan was a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist organization. A 2007 YouTube video showed Adnan praising and encouraging suicide bombings: "Who among you will carry the next explosive belt? Who among you will fire the next bullets? Who among you will have his body parts blown all over?” In May 2023, Adnan died in prison after refusing medical treatment during a hunger strike.

On June 27, 2012, Bahhur tweeted: “Protest in support of the Palestinian prisoners who are on the #hungerstrike.”

The hunger strike was initiated by Marwan Barghouti, who was serving five consecutive life sentences for his role in suicide bombings — and shooting attacks against Israelis that killed five people during the Second Intifada.

Barghouti financed the guitar-case bomb used in the Sbarro Cafe massacre. Also among the hunger strikers was Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) Secretary General Ahmad Sa’adat.

More than 1,000 other Palestinian prisoners participated in the hunger strike — most of whom were also convicted for acts of terrorism.

Supporting Anti-Israel Agitators

On June 25, 2011, Bahhur tweeted: “I swear, if I could be on a boat to #Gaza right now with all those activists, I'd so be there. #Gaza #Flotilla2.”

On May 27, 2011, Bahhur tweeted: “Support the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza.”
In July 2011, the Freedom Flotilla aimed to end the blockade of Gaza by sailing to Gaza, but never set sail.

The blockade was implemented to stop Hamas from acquiring more sophisticated rockets to fire at Israeli civilian populations.

Demonizing Israel

On July 9, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Bahhur tweeted: “Holocaust 2.0. #PrayForGaza.”

Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

On February 7, 2014, Bahhur tweeted: “It's really hard for me to read books about the Holocaust knowing that my friends and family are going through the same things back home.”

On November 19, 2012, Bahhur tweeted: “‘If 9/11 deserves a moment of silence, then Palestine deserves us never to speak again.’ #PrayforGaza #FreePalestine #LongLivePalestine”

On September 11, 2012, Bahhur tweeted: “R.I.P. to the lives that were lost 11 years ago today. Let us not forget the lives being lost in Palestine, who go through 9/11 everyday.”

On August 20, 2011, Bahhur tweeted: “RT @ajamazing: There is no word in the Hebrew vocabulary for ‘APOLOGY’ or ‘SORRY.' #Israel #ApartheidIsrael #BDS #Egypt #Palestine.”

Promoting BDS

On October 1, 2011, Bahuur tweeted: “You know I'm down! RT @deenabee: Found Sabra hummus in Gander Dining hall today. Who's up for a protest? #Palestine.”

On June 18, 2011, Bahhur tweeted: “‘Hips don't lie’ but Israel does. Don't help hide Apartheid, cancel your trip! http://bit.ly/BDSshakira #BDS #Israel @shakira.”

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.

MSA

The MSA was  established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
