Overview

Grabrielle Rocha has spread anti-Semitism, demonized Israel supporters, promoted hatred of Israel and shown solidarity with anti-Israel agitators on social media.

As of April 2021, Rocha’s Facebook page said she studied at San Francisco State University (SFSU) and lived in San Francisco, California.

Rocha indicated on Twitter that she was a student at SFSU in May 2020 and had been studying there since September 2018.

As of April 2021, Rosha used the alias “gabisuns” on Twitter, as well as on Tiktok.

Anti-Semitism

On October 20, 2018, Rocha tweeted: “They still are and they think they’re better than everyone just like white supremacists killing hundreds of Palestinians each day.”

Rocha’s tweet was in response to a tweet that read: “...Moses will be in the Kingdom to come though. So his work isn’t in vain, the Israelites were a tough group to deal with.”

Demonizing Israel Supporters

On September 4, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “‘I love Palestine but I support israel. I have a Jewish boyfriend and arab friend’ Like why don’t you shut the f**k up. You sound stupid.”

On July 17, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “Honey..... if you support Palestinians, you would support their right to have all of their land back, not zionism.”

Rocha’s tweet was in response to a tweet, that read: “i’m jewish and zionist and i support the palestinians too. your point?”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

On July 2, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “Being a zionist means you support that Israel is the legitimate and righteous land and by believing this you don’t believes palestinians deserve to live and that they deserve their own land. There can’t be bothin a zionists eyes.”

On June 27, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “‘I will remain a proud feminist, but I see no reason I should have to sacrifice my Zionism for the sake of my feminism’ lol girl for some nerve.”

On June 26, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “...We hate zionists who steal land and kill and torture palestinian lives in exchange for it when it’s no longer theirs…”

On April 2, 2020, Rocha tweeted that Zionists: “...can’t face that palestinians still exist and won’t leave their colonized land.”

On November 12, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “Am I really going to fail my intro to world politics class because I put Israel in quotation marks and my professor may or may not be a Zionist? We’ll find out in January while I cry with my 45/100.”

On May 5, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “Don’t you hate it when you make a friend and she turns out to be a Zionist? Friendship over…”

On April 11, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “I’m sorry but a Pro-Palestinian Zionist simply cannot exist. You need to fact check.”

Rocha added to the thread: “For you to be a Zionist, you call for the end of the Palestinian State so you can’t be pro-Palestinian if you wish that they don’t have a country of their own but instead wish for Israaeeell.”

On March 26, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “You’re entitled to your wrong a** Zionist opinion b**ch. Bye.”

Rocha’s tweet featured a GIF of a man kicking a little girl in the air.

On March 25, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “Do not go into my f**king DMs to make racists statements against Palestinians you piece of s**t. Decolonize yourself from the gentrification and the Zionist in your heart and the brainwashing. Stop basing your life in something stated thousands of years ago where things were.”

On March 21, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “Zionists on campus. Eww.”

On March 20, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “So my university, San Francisco State University decided to grant Zionists a mural... This campus really does everything in its power to target Palestinians and make more and more Muslims feel unsafe and I’m so f**king done with this campus.”

On February 28, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “...The Romans kicked off Jews from the land and now you are murdering and treating innocent Palestinian families the same way your people have been treated. That isn’t defense. Zionist ideals won’t get you anywhere except ignorance May Allah help your soul.”

On November 9, 2018, Rocha tweeted: “F**k these Zionist at SF State honestly!”

Hatred of Israel

On June 18, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “...Mexico is a settler colonial state, just as the US is and El Salvador, Brazil, Colombia, Israel, etc.”

On April 7, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “My mom wants to go visit Jerusalem and Bethlehem and take me. I literally told her if this happens, we’re only eating in Palestinian establishments because there’s no way I’m goin to support zionists.”

On January 28, 2020, Rocha tweeted: “To end Israeli occupation, there can’t be an israel period. It’s all Palestine, you cannot give palestinians land and expect the ones who are not from that piece of land to live there as Israel still occupies where they originally are from. It’s all of it or none of it.”

On August 11, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “It’s not a joke, it’s true facts that the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] commits just like every f**king army in this world. Period...” 

Rocha’s tweet referred to her previous tweet in the same thread that read: “You don’t turn to sarcasm to tweet about raping Palestinian women. Whether you did it or not. You’re the one whose delusional.”

On August 9, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “Your people oppressed and massacred millions of Native Americans and now you move to a country where the people there oppress and kill thousands of Palestinians?”

On April 6, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “It is an apartheid and Palestinians will never have equal rights. The ones inside already are mistreated as disrespected.”

On April 6, 2019, Rocha also tweeted: “I said this once and I cannot stress enough to say it again but F**k Israel.”

On February 28, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “Palestinians are not terrorists. The IDF [Israel Defense Forces] is.”

On January 11, 2019, Rocha tweeted: “...there are Palestinians crying everyday losing their husbands, brothers, wives, kids due to the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] murdering them almost everyday…”

Rocha retweeted a March 8, 2021 tweet, that read: “Happy #internationalwomensday2021 to all Palestinian women who fearlessly resist Israeli terror and apartheid#BDS.”

Rocha retweeted an October 20, 2020 tweet, that read: “Stop referring to the Palestinian oppression as an isr*eli Palestinian conflict! it is NOT a conflict, it IS oppression, Palestinians are being OPPRESSED.”

Rocha retweeted an August 18, 2020 tweet, that read: “from the very bottom of my heart, f**k israel.”

Solidarity with Anti-Israel Agitators

On July 7, 2019, Rocha wrote on Facebook: “By @bitarreal on twitter: ‘Tamimi family, family of #ahedtamimi, a #Palestinian family who continues to struggle for freedom Every Tamimi family member-regardless of her/his age-has been brutally assaulted by #Israel's occupation army Nevertheless, they'd NEVER give up the struggle’ Never resist the cruelty being done to you. The village of Nabi Saleh is a Tamimi family stronghold. It is notorious as a place where photographers gather nearly every Friday to document scenes of Palestinian residents and international activists clashing with Israeli soldiers. Much of this is instigated by the Nabi Saleh Tamimi clan.  

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true. 

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”  

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
