Farah Awadat
Overview
Farah Awadat has called for death to Israel and spread violent hatred of Israelis. She has also spread hatred of Zionists and anti-Israel conspiracy theories.Awadat has been an affiliate and supporter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of Texas, Dallas (UTD), since 2016.
Awadat is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of June, 2017, Awadat’s Facebook page listed her as a student at UTD from 2016 - 2020.
Hatred of Israel

Violent Hatred of Israelis
On June 23, 2017, Awadat tweeted: “who retweeted that zionist bitch gal gadot on my tl.” Awadat added: “”On October 29, 2016, Awadat tweeted: “theres a israeli guy in my class and hes talking about wanting to serve in the IDF I WANNA FIGHT.” Awadat added: “making duaa i dont scream rn f**k israelis.”
On July 9, 2016, Awadat tweeted: “JUST FOUND OUT MY CALC PROF IS ISRAELI JDDHSHAJSHS im gonna fail.” Awadat added: “how the f**k am i going to sit in class and not want to scream at him.” Awadat continued: “i havent even met him and i already hate him so much this is what i get for looking up my profs.”
On the same day, responding to a comment saying there are probably many Israeli professors, Awadat replied: “probably. ive never actually met an israeli person i just assume they are terrible ppl who are far away from me killing my ppl.”
On May 11, 2016, Awadat tweeted: “when i see an israeli wearing a keffiyeh.” The tweet featured a photo of a woman pointing a pistol.
Hatred of Zionists
On June 27, 2017, Awadat tweeted: “i took a shower and come back to zionists in my mentions over my gaza tweet now i have to cleanse myself again.”On the same day, Awadat tweeted: “good morning everyone except zionists.”

On November 7, 2016, Awadat tweeted: “just a reminder that i hope every zionist out there chokes and rots in hell.”
On September 25, 2016, Awadat condemned JK Rowling for deciding not to boycott Israel, tweeting: “i cant believe she ruined my childhood with this one tweet i wanna sue her zionist a**.”
On September 18, 2016, in response to a comment on Awadat’s Curious Cat that read: “Israel is stronger then its ever been ,” Awadat replied: “ya allah can the zionists let me live shaytaan [satan] is stronger than hes ever been too cant wait to u both rot in hell together.”
On April 5, 2016, tweeted about Simon Asher’s character on Quantico: “also simon the zionist trash is still alive someone kill him.”
On March 11, 2016, Awadat tweeted that U.S. presidential candidate Marco Rubio was “zionist trash™.”
Conspiracy Theories

Demonizing Israel
On August 8, 2016, Awadat tweeted: “i saw ur argument its pretty clear who u support. as if israel isnt rooted in anti-blackness stop coming after one arab.”On August 4, 2016, Awadat tweeted: “me: israel is responsible for the genocide, exile, an apartheid of millions of palestinians a**holes: but they have gay rights!!!”
On November 26, 2016, Awadat responded to a comment on Curious Cat that read: “How many names does the devil go by in Islam? (For example in Christianity the devil in called: Lucifer, Beezelbub, Samael, Satan, and I think Legion).” Awadat replied: “shaytaan [Satan], iblis, and israel.”
SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
