Terror Support (Hezbollah, PFLP)
On May 15, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “Support armed struggle for liberation or STFU [shut the f**k up].”Welsh wrote her tweet during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls(OGW) against Hamas.
In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.
On May 30, 2021, Welsh promoted on Twitter the “Strategy for Liberation of Palestine,” the manifesto of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestinian (PFLP) terror group.

.”On November 23, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “My professor: Make yourself employable! Law firms want associates who will build their reputation! Me on Twitter Dot Com: i <3 hezbollah (:”
Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
On January 8, 2022, Welsh tweeted: “It’s important to show solidarity with Palestinians in administrative detention, but also with those who have been charged/convicted for resisting the Zionist regime. All Palestinian prisoners are comrades in the struggle and all must be liberated.”
Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” can be a euphemism for nationalistic terror. It is often used to excuse or even glorify anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence.
Hatred of Zionists
On November 18, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “Make Zionists’ quiet lives untenable. Do not give them a moment of peace until the ethnostate which calls itself Israel has been dismantled.”On October 27, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “Me: We don’t need to be mean about people’s appearances! Let’s choose our words carefully. Also me: Ugly a** Z*onist…Go put on some sunscreen, naked mole rats.”
On July 27, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “Never, EVER let these genocidal Zionist freaks frame their project as anything but bloodthirsty settler-colonialism. They are NOT indigenous. They are NOT oppressed by Palestinians. Do not let these vile racists flip the script.”
One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is by claiming that Israeli Jews have no connection to the Land of Israel.
On May 31, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “People who vocally regard themselves as centrists, two-staters, ‘can’t we just get along,’ etc. regarding Israel’s butchery of Palestine are the most self-righteous, depraved blockheads I’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting and I wish them nothing but pain and misery.”
Hatred of Israel
On August 13, 2020, Welsh tweeted: “I would smear dogs**t on myself before I ever let anything from Ahava touch my skin. Would be much less disgusting.”Ahava is an Israeli cosmetics company.
On May 6, 2021, Welsh tweeted, referring to Sheikh Jarrah: “Isr*el’s plan is to suffocate Palestinians street by street, house by house if they have to. It is no different from what has been happening for more than 70 years...”
In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
On May 10, 2021, also during OGW, Welsh tweeted: “The Palestinians in Gaza are hostages. They live in an open-air prison, unable to come and go with ease. And when Palestinians refuse to bend to the will of the Zionist state, it picks off hostages, including children.”
The United Nations approved [pp. 39–41] the Israeli-Egyptian blockade of Gaza in 2011 as a security measure to stop Hamas from acquiring sophisticated rockets. Multiple flotillas have attempted to breach the blockade, with at least one flotilla initiating a violent confrontation with Israeli forces.
Also on May 10, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “...Israel's strategy hasn't deviated much in the past 73 years: attack Palestinians, keep stealing land, bombard the vulnerable, and play the victim when Palestinians resist.”
On May 14, 2021, during OGW, Welsh tweeted: “...Israel is right now committing #GenocideinGaza…”
On October 27, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “...The State of Israel already exercises colonial control over Palestinians. It’s not a leap whatsoever to say it also seeks sexual domination.”
On December 3, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “If pharmaceutical companies and politicians believed the COVID vaccine might be dangerous, Israel would have been mass testing it on Palestinians like they do with every new weapon instead of hoarding it for themselves. Just saying.”
Hatred of America
On August 11, 2020, Welsh tweeted: “All I want is death to America, healthcare for all, free Palestine, and to farm my peppers.”On May 19, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “Like the State of Israel, the USA is a settler-colonial project that must be dismantled...”
On November 8, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “Cute autumn/winter date ideas:...burn an American flag while chanting ‘Death to imperialism’

.”Solidarity with Yasmeen Mashayekh
In November 2021, Welsh tweeted in support of Yasmeen Mashayekh, who was [00:11:08] in the middle of a national controversy over anti-Semitism she spread on social media that year.In October 2021, Mashayekh was listed as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Senator for USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering (Viterbi). In May 2021, she tweeted: "I want to f**king kill every motherf**king Zionist.” She also tweeted: “yel3an el yahood [curse the Jews]
.”Mashayekh has also spread violent hatred of Israeli Jews, called for the destruction of Israel and America, expressed support for Hamas and glorified terrorists.
On November 25, 2021, Welsh tweeted: “If you consider yourself an ally to the Palestinian cause, I urge you to stand in solidarity with Yasmeen Mashayek, who is…being targeted by a Zionist-led harassment campaign. Make a tweet tagging @USCViterbi and let them know you support Yasmeen.”
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
