Dunya Yasin [Dunya M. Yasin] has spread hatred of Zionists, demonized Israel and engaged in anti-Israel activism.

In May 2021, Yasin indicated on Twitter she was affiliated with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) Chicago.

As of August 2021, Yasin’s LinkedIn page said she was a “Freelance Writing Consultant” since March 2020, and that she was located in the Greater Chicago Area.

As of August 2021, Yasin’s LinkedIn also said she graduated from Moraine Valley Community College (MVCC) with an associate’s degree in Social Work in 2021.

As of August 2021, Yasin went by the aliases “dulizzle” and “hafiasmole” on Twitter.

As of the same date, Yasin went by the alias “dunyasrouge” on Instagram and by “lorddungus” on Curious Cat.

Hatred of Zionists

On May 14, 2021, Yasin tweeted: “I SWEARRRRR ZIONISTS R SPINELESS SCUMMMMM... I dare them to come say s**t like that on land.”

On May 15, 2021, Yasin tweeted: “good morning! s**tting ur pants in public is less embarrassing than supporting israel.”

Demonizing Israel

On January 30, 2020, Yasin tweeted: “...blame it on isr*el being a disease to humanity

THEY WANT TO HAVE CULTURE SO BAD, THAT THEY RESORT TO STEALING OURS...”

On June 30, 2020, Yasin tweeted: “We have a moral obligation to help Palestinians in their fight for full liberation of their land, stolen from them in 1947, and to defend their right to self-defense against Israeli apartheid, genocide, and escalated land grabbing and theft. #NoToAnnexation #RightofReturn.”

In the spring of 2020, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israeli sovereignty would be applied to certain areas of the West Bank. The annexation plan was canceled a day before the July 1, 2020 deadline.

Yasin retweeted an October 1, 2020 tweet that read: “ethnic cleansing.” The tweet was responding to a tweet that read: “what is Israel famous for?”

Yasin retweeted a May 8, 2021 tweet that read: “if you’re neutral about the ethnic cleansing of Palestine i will assume you’re neutral about colonialism and genocide in general bc this isn’t any different.”

Yasin retweeted a May 13, 2021 tweet that read: “we’re LITERALLY watching ethnic cleansing to further colonialism and genocide of Palestinians holy s**t.”

Yasin retweeted a May 15, 2021 tweet that featured photos of protesters at an anti-Israel demonstration holding signs calling to “#SAVE SHEIKH JARRAH,” that read: “put an end to the genocide of my people #FreePalaestine

.”

In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

Anti-Israel Activism

On May 8, 2021, Yasin tweeted: “SJP Chicago protest was phenomenal! #SaveSheikhJarrah.”

Yasin’s tweet featured photos taken at an anti-Israel rally of SJP and American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) activists protesting in Chicago. One of the protesters held a sign that read: “End the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.”

Yasin also retweeted a May 8, 2021 tweet by Rami Kablawi, an SJP activist at the University of Chicago (U of C) that read: “Out in the hundreds in Chicago today to say NO to Israel's ethnic cleansing project, in Sheikh Jarrah and from the river to the sea. #SaveSheikhJarrah @sjpchi.”

“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is a chant calling to dismantle the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state.

Kablawi’s tweet also featured a video of anti-Israel activists marching in Chicago chanting [00:00:00]: “FREE FREE PALESTINE.”

The following day, on May 9, 2021, Yasin tweeted a video of SJP activists leading anti-Israel protesters marching in Chicago and wrote: “here’s another video of us ‘cowards’ who bring so much honor to our identity while we persevere and resist even outside of Palestine. #SaveSheikhJarrah.”

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
