Dellar Weldon

Dellar Weldon [Del Weldon] was arrested at a pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Georgia (UGA) during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds more that day. For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.

On April 29, 2024, Dellar Weldon was arrested for “misdemeanor criminal trespass” at the UGA encampment.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

On October 26, 2024, The Red & Black news site reported that Dellar Weldon participated in the "Fight for Our Rights: A Memorial for Our Martyrs" event at UGA, organized by the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) chapter at UGA (UGA YDSA), "to honor those who lost their lives in Palestine." Weldon could be seen at the event wrapped in a keffiyeh and holding a Palestinian flag.

UGA is located in Athens, Georgia.
