Deena Damha
Deena Damha [Deena Raed Ahmad] engaged in anti-Israel activism as a member of the anti-Israel campus group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) (SJP UWM) in 2013-2016.
Deena Damha graduated from UWM with a bachelor's degree in December 2019.
As of May 2025, Deena Damha's Facebook About page said she studied education and special education at UWM.
UWM is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
On November 12, 2013, Damha participated in the "Right to Education" event organized by SJP UWM.
The Right to Education Tour brings Palestinian students to U.S. campuses to promote a claim that Israel arbitrarily obstructs the rights of Palestinians to higher education. The organization has demonized Israel for its security sweeps made to shut down terror cells operating from Palestinian campuses.
On July 19, 2014, during Israel's "Operation Protective Edge (OPE)" against Hamas terrorists in Gaza, Damha participated in an anti-Israel protest. At the protest, participants held signs that read: "Israel is an Apartheid State" and "Auschwitz Gaza Camp".
Israel commenced Operation Protective Edge (OPE) in July 2014, to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.
On November 10, 2015, Dahma participated in an SJP protest against an American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual conference held in Milwaukee.
The stated mission of AIPAC is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”
SJP is the leading student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses. The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian, who has spread anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campus campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks and pushing the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, and SJP chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for terrorists.
