Daniel Fuchizhi
Overview
Daniel Fuchizhi is an engineer who ripped down posters raising awareness of Israeli civilians kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and held hostage in Gaza. The March 2024 incident occurred in New York, New York, near the Museum of Natural History.Hamas kidnapped the civilians, including women, children and the elderly, during a series of terror atrocities and war crimes that left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Hamas executed the terror attacks on October 7, 2023. Other war crimes included mass murder, torture, rape and beheadings. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas is a designated terrorist organization founded in 1987 that is dedicated to destroying Israel and killing Jews. Since 2001, Hamas has launched thousands of rockets at Israel and on October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped over 200 hostages, including children and the elderly.
In March 2024, an Instagram post from StopAntisemitism featuring a video of Fuchizhi identified him as “a Russian citizen.”

Biographical Information
As of March 17, 2024, Fuchizhi’s LinkedIn profile said he graduated from Moscow State University of Engineering (MGSU) with a master’s degree in “Reinforced Concrete Constructions” in June 2021. MGSU is located in Moscow, Russia, and Fuchizhi referred to it as “MSUCE” on LinkedIn.Fuchizhi’s LinkedIn also said he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from MGSU in “Construction of Thermal and Nuclear Stations” in June 2019.
Also as of March 2024, Fuchizhi’s LinkedIn said he was located in Brooklyn, New York.
