Cameron Grund

Grund resigned from her job because of social media posts published following a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023. 

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Supporting Hamas Terrorism

On December 14, 2023, a video of Grund from her now-deleted TikTok account was posted on Twitter. Text over the video read: “‘But do you condemn Hummus [Hamas]?’ I will never condemn violence from the oppressed towards the oppressor. Resistance by any means necessary.”

Hatred of Zionists During an Israeli War Against Hamas

As of November 23, 2023, the bio of Grund’s now-deleted TikTok account said: “no Zionists allowed here…” Grund used the handle “@camaroni4freepalestine” on TikTok.

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

Hatred of Israel and Promoting a Conspiracy Theory

On October 18, 2023, during Israel’s war against Hamas, Grund posted a video of herself on TikTok, where she said [00:00:30]: “...I am an ER nurse who loves going to the psych unit…on top of that, I’m angry that there’s literal genocide going on right now in Palestine. And nothing’s being done. So I am going to be weird, off-putting and angry…f**king ACAB [all cops are bastards]!”

Also on October 18, 2023, Grund posted a video of herself dancing on TikTok. 

Text over the video read: “Please take a moment to recognize which group of people are so vocal against a free Palestine. Why are the people that support Israel all the rich and powerful? Why is it the people who are against fascism and colonialism that are for a Free Palestine? This is far bigger than Jewish vs Palestinian.”

Grund added below the video: “It’s like they have an agenda or something!!!?”

Biographical Information

As of November 20, 2023, Grund’s LinkedIn profile said she was a registered nurse and had been working in the emergency department at the Mankato, Minnesota branch of the Mayo Clinic since July 2023. Her credential number is 2517219 and was issued in the name of “Cameron Ellen Grund” by the Minnesota Board of Nursing in June 2023.

On December 14, 2023, Grund posted in her LinkedIn Activity section that she was looking for a new job and added the #OpenToWork hashtag to her profile picture. 

On December 15, 2023, Grund’s former employer confirmed on Twitter that “This individual no longer works at Mayo Clinic.”

As of December 17, 2023, Grund also updated her LinkedIn bio to read: “Ex-Emergency Department RN [registered nurse].” She wrote of her May Clinic job: “I resigned from this position to be as much in solidarity with Palestinians as they continue to fight for their liberation from colonialism. Mayo Clinic still supports Israel. Source: https://www.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/article-742352.”

As of the same date, Grund’s LinkedIn also said she graduated from the University of Minnesota (UMN) School of Nursing with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2023.
