Brooklyn Northcross

Brooklyn Northcross was arrested at the anti-Israel encampment at Princeton University (Princeton) in April 2024.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

The student group Princeton Israeli Apartheid Divest (PIAD) was a co-organizer of the encampment, which ran for three weeks. Activists demanded that Princeton divest from companies doing business in Israel.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses in 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

On April 30, 2024, PIAD said that Brooklyn Northcross was arrested for defiant trespass when Northcross and 12 others occupied Princeton’s Clio Hall. According to the arrestees, criminal charges were filed.

On July 7, 2025, in exchange for community service and a letter of apology, the judge dismissed the charges with prejudice and ordered Northcross’s arrest record to be automatically expunged.

As of June 2026, Brooklyn Northcross's LinkedIn said she graduated from Princeton with a bachelor's degree in African American studies in 2024. Princeton is located in Princeton, New Jersey.

Also as of June 2026, Brooklyn Northcross was listed on the Yale University (Yale) website as a graduate student in the Department of Sociology. Yale is located in New Haven, Connecticut.
