Defending Hamas and Hezbollah
Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
On July 10, 2019, the day Hamas launched a Gaza-Wide military exercise, Alghanem tweeted: “Changed my name on here because when I become the first Arab American president, nobody gotta know that I had sugar daddies, 5am s**t posts, horny tweets, and defended Hamas on occasion lmfaooof.”
On May 10, 2019, Alghanem tweeted: “hamas and the PLO [Palestine Liberation Organization] are resistance groups to the terrorism of the IDF [Israel Defense Forces]…”
The PLO’s stated goal in its 1968 Charter was the “liberation of Palestine” through “armed struggle.”
Spreading Anti-Semitism
On July 15, 2020, Alghanem tweeted: “ok the only thing nick cannon was wrong about was equating zionists with the illuminati but i think the reason he was fired was because he name-dropped an entire family (rothschild) & that's a liability.”In July 2020, television star Nick Cannon was fired by ViacomCBS after he made anti-Semitic comments on his podcast, for which he later apologized. Cannon reportedly promoted various anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, including the claim that Jewish people control the media. Cannon also reportedly suggested that Jewish people were not real Jews and that African Americans were “the true Hebrews.”
Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”
Demonizing Israel
On May 14, 2021, during Israel’s “Operation Guardian of the Walls(OGW)” against Hamas in Gaza, Alghanem tweeted: “.@Twitter @TwitterNews is doing an absolutely atrocious job covering the genocide in Palestine. this is extremely unacceptable.”Alghanem added to the same thread: “#SaveSheikhJarrah #savepalestinians #FreePalestine make these go VIRAL.”
In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

Anti-Israel Activism
On May 14, 2021, Alghanem tweeted: “

SATURDAY 5/15/21 2PM PRO PALESTINE PROTEST IN DEARBORN, NEAR DETROIT, MICHIGAN. PLEASE SHARE AND RETWEET

.”Alghanem’s tweet included screenshots from a Facebook event page with the details for a rally and protest to commemorate the Nakba, titled, “NAKBA 73: RESISTANCE UNTIL LIBERATION.”
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
The event was organized by the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) and scheduled for May 15, 2021, at the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn Michigan.
The Facebook event page description said: “Al-Nakba was not an event but is an ongoing Zionist settler-colonial project; and its primary purpose is to ethnically cleanse and dominate Palestinian land, people, and her resources.”
On May 16, 2021, the day after the protest, Alghanem tweeted: “HUGE TURNOUT IN DEARBORN, MICHIGAN FOR PALESTINE

#FreePalestine.”Alghanem’s tweet featured photos of crowds of anti-Israel protesters.
Supporting BDS
On July 10, 2021, Alghanem tweeted: “Boycott Cult Gaia. The brand’s founder Jasmin Larian said: ‘I support Israel’s right to defend itself’ while Israel was actually committing genocidal acts towards civilians.”On August 21, 2019, Alghanem tweeted: “Israeli made products,” in response to a tweet that read: “Name something you boycott. No explanation required.”
On December 3, 2018, Alghanem tweeted: “11/9/18 Airbnb will remove all their listings (about 200) in the West Bank settlements. The company stated that the settlements ‘are at the core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians.’”
Alghanem added to the thread: “Great news for the #BDS Movement!”
On October 7, 2018, Alghanem tweeted: “I love BDSM - Boycott - Divest and - Sanction the - Manipulative apartheid state of Israel so we can stand up for our innocent, impoverished, and disenfranchised Palestinian brothers and sisters for a decolonized Middle East to get us closer to world peace.”
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
