Overview

Amer Wazwaz [Amer F Wazwaz] is a gun enthusiast who has expressed a violent hatred of Zionists. Wazwaz has also shown support for the terror group Hamas and spread homophobia on Twitter.

Wazwaz has also praised Hitler, equated Israel with Nazi Germany and promoted hatred of Israel on Twitter.

As of May 2021, Wazwaz was listed on Facebook as an administrator the Muslim Students Association (MSA), at Joliet Junior College (JJC), in Illinois Facebook page.

As of May 2021, Wazwaz was listed with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as an “ACTIVE” Registered Professional Nurse, with the license number 041502812.

The license was issued with its “First Effective Date” on 11/13/2020 and slated to expire on 05/31/2022.

As of December 2020, Wazwaz’s Instagram bio said he held a BSN [Bachelor of Science in Nursing] and was an RN [Registered Nurse].

Wazwaz’s Instagram bio also said he was a “BSC Chemist” and graduated from GSU [Governors State University] in 2016 and graduated from “Res U” [Resurrection University, Nursing and Health Sciences] in 2019.

As of May 2021, Wazwaz used the handle “nursewaz” on Instagram.

Gun Enthusiast

On February 27, 2017, Wazwaz posted a video on Facebook of himself at the Eagle Sports Range in Oakland, IL “blowing off steam” with a 9mm Glock pistol.

On January 10, 2017, Wazwaz tweeted: “When your dad sees your post about you wanting to buy a gun and the reaction you get from was totally for it and not against it. Aaayyyyyy.”

On November 8, 2016, Wazwaz tweeted: “s**t toss me a gun too. I wanna die fighting,” adding “bro I've been shooting. You'll see when we go to eagle range.”
On August 18, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted a photo of rifles, hand guns and knives and wrote: “‘@WeaponPictures: RT if you want this’ I want.”

On June 19, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “@fuxkhaneen just shoot her now

. We can't have those ppl.”

Violent Hatred of Zionists

On February 22, 2015, Wazwaz tweeted: “@HebaAlsheikh kill those zionists slaves.”

On August 7, 2014, during a Twitter conversation attacking pro-Israel Twitter accounts, Wazwaz tweeted: “don't forget about me. I wanna

some Zionists.”

Support for Hamas

On September 7, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “@HebaAlsheikh @itsMoeAlshaikh but but I love Hamas.”

Hamas is a designated terrorist organization by the European Union, Canada, Australia, the United States and Israel.

Hamas's founding charter calls for the murder of Jews, while the terror group’s “summer camps” have taught children how to wage war.

On August 17, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “long love Hamas. I stand with Hamas.”

On August 17, 2014, Wazwaz also tweeted: “@IsraeliPM @Israel @IsraelinUSA @UN @BarackObama @netanyahu @AmericaI STAND WITH HAMAS! LONG LIVE HAMAS.”

On August 8, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Wazwaz tweeted: “Idc I'm proud to say this! I have and always will support Hamas! I #SupportGaza #FreePalestine.”

Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

Homophobia

On October 13, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “Anytime I hear anything about gay rights I can't stop myself from laughing cause it's a joke.”

On August 19, 2015, Wazwaz tweeted: “@Maalibubarbie dude...I visited the other day...and they're sooooo annoying. This old gay couple...so disgusting.”
On July 10, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “screw gay ppl! I just lost respect”

Wazwaz’s tweet was in response to a tweet that read: “Holy F**K dumbledores f**ken gay.”

Later in the same thread, another Twitter user tweeted: “But he's the most powerful wizard of all time. How dare you!”

Wazwaz replied: “he died and shuts [sic.] not real bruh. Gay ppl should still hide back in the closet instead of being congratulated.”

Praising Hitler

On July 10, 2014, during a Twitter conversation Wazwaz tweeted: “@HossamElshikh it's how they are raised man. Can't teach a dog new tricks. One thing I admired about hitler is that he was patient enough,”

Wazwaz’s tweet was in response to atweet that read: “So I finally found something that can instantly enrage the heck out of me: Zionist comments.”

Equating Israel with Nazi Germany

On August 4, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted a Facebook post he composed, claiming that “Israeli Officials Call for Concentration camps in Gaza.”

The post Wazwaz composed referred to an article that misquoted an Israeli cabinet minister and claimed that the minister called for placing Palestinians in “concentration camps.”

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.

On July 21, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted a photo which superimposed Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, standing over a map, with a photo of Hitler discussing war strategy adding: “History repeating itself.”

On July 14, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “@ImTheBatmann and honestly I hope Israel does get bombed. Cause you guys are just like the Nazis who put you gus in the oven.”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On April 15, 2018, Wazwaz tweeted: “@canarymission you can screen shot this too and it to the profile you made of me. Thanks.”

Wazwaz’s tweet included a tweet he wrote that read: “@realDonaldTrump Israel has been using chemical warfare on Palestinians. Can you bomb them next? Sincerely, People against chemical warfare a.k.a humanity.”

On January 6, 2017, Wazwaz tweeted: “Are Arab considered racists cause they hate Israelis? If yes I'm proud to be a racist lol.”

On December 30, 2016, Wazwaz tweeted: “Haifa is legit the best city in Palestine. Too bad those Zionist pigs took it over and f**ked it up.”

On June 16, 2016, Wazwaz tweeted: “@netanyahu awkward moment is that he's Isis,” in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s expression of condolence for the victims of the Orlando shooting.

On January 13, 2016, Wazwaz tweeted: “I feel sorry for the girls that are named Israel. Like how does it feel to have a name that means oppression.”

On July 9, 2015, Wazwaz tweeted a picture of toilet paper with the Israeli flag printed on it, adding: “@Bahiiyaaa @yoniherst @hahaloomaa he can wipe it with this lol.”

On March 4, 2015, Wazwaz tweeted: “@netanyahu we found the perfect emoji for your pig a** face” along with a photo of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and an illustration of a pig.

On August 3, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “If Apple supports Israel...every Arab will go to android.”

On July 26, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “@Themaar7 @Shwakiii I will never hold an Israeli flag unless I'm gonna burn it.”

On July 20, 2014, Wazwaz tweeted: “COUNTER PROTEST TUESDAY AT 12. We're COUNTERING THE ISRAELI MARCH. WE DINT WANT MURDERERS TO MARCH IN OUR CITY!!! BE THERE!!”

MSA

The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
