Overview
Amer Elsaad has called for violence against Israelis and spread hatred of Zionists and Israel. Elsaad has also justified violence and denied the Jewish connection to Israel. He is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.As of July 2022, Elsaad’s LinkedIn page said he graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington) with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2022.
As of the same date, Elsaad’s LinkedIn also said he worked as a part-time “Instructional Design Assistant” at UT Arlington from December 2020 to May 2022.
As of March 2022, Elsaad used the handle “@AmerElsaad” and username “King عامر السعد [Amer Elsaad]
” on Twitter.As of July 2022, Elsaad’s LinkedIn said he was located in Arlington, Texas.
Elsaad also spread anti-Semitism, promoted violent hatred of Zionists and expressed support for Hamas, while in high school.
Calling for Violence Against Israelis
On May 9, 2021, Elsaad tweeted about Israel: “May the hands of the oppressors be cut off, and may they never see an ounce of sleep for the rest of their life. The blood of every oppressed every indidvdual boils. But allah swt [the most exalted God] will take care of the oppressed and destroy the oppressors.”On the same date, Elsaad tweeted: “May allah…bring forth the punishment for the oppressors. May they never…” He then tweeted: “Taste an ounce of sleep. May they be driven mad. May they wish to die and yearn to die to rest, but May they never experience peace…”
On the May 15 2021, Elsaad tweeted: “...May every individual who ever supported the terroristic actions.” He then tweeted: “Of Israel never taste an ounce of goodness in this world. May they lose their sleep. Their sanity. May they be punished for what they have done to the oppressed Palestinians.”
Hatred of Zionists
On May 13, 2020, Elsaad tweeted: “...Zionist pigs saying jewish Palestinians solidarity...Now you just labeled yourself as a god damn Zionist.”On the same date, Elsaad tweeted, in reference to someone else’s alleged retweet of a Zionist: “...There are traitors in history. It is that simple. A true palestinain who loved their blessed land would rather die than give in to the Zionist scum. Period.”
On May 12, 2020, Elsaad tweeted: “What a f**king traitor. Zionist scum.”
On May 14, 2018, Elsaad tweeted: “LMAO and y'all told me to like Harry potter but the author is a f**king Zionist lmao.”
On March 20, 2018, Elsaad tweeted that Israel was “...in the hands of thieves. Of colonists, of illegal settlers. O see no difference between you and the spanish settlers that murdered the natives of North and South America.”
On March 13, 2018, Elsaad tweeted: “F**k every Israeli.”
On January 14, 2018, Elsaad tweeted: “You are one of those who betrayed the oppressed and I hope you rot with your Zionist b**ches.” His tweet was about an Israeli Arab who tweeted: “...I was taught to hate Israel, but I overcame the hatred!...”
Hatred of Israel
On January 12, 2018, Elsaad tweeted: “La3nat allah 3ala Israel [May the curse of Allah be upon Israel].”On May 7, 2021, Elsaad tweeted: “May Allah swt protect the holy land of Palestine from these terrorist colonizers who have engaged in every war crim in the book. May the all mightytake care of these oppressors in the quickest manner.”
On May 11, 2021, Elsaad tweeted: “The Israeli state was founded upon colonialism and the destructive forces used to annihilate the native people…”
On May 15, 2021, Elsaad tweeted: “...For over 70 years my home has been slowly destroyed by Israel and its piggy bank the United States.”
On May 21, 2021, Elsaad tweeted: “Criticism of the violent and evil ways of Israel is not antisemtic…”
On the same day, Elsaad tweeted: “...The ethnic cleansing of Palestinians will not stop because Israel is a terrorist state. Its that simple.”
Elsaad’s tweet included a tweet by AJ+ that claimed: “Israeli police stormed Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque hours after the Israel-Hamas ceasefire…”
On May 21, 2021, clashes erupted outside of the Al-Aqsa compound after Palestinian worshippers threw rocks and petrol bombs at Israeli officers. Thousands of worshippers had gathered at the compound in solidarity with Gaza, following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
Justifying Violence
As of March 2022, Elsaad’s Twitter cover photo was a cartoon of a Palestinian woman wearing a keffiyeh and firing a slingshot.Although romanticized as a form of “popular resistance,” rock throwing remains a deadly form of violence.
Elsaad retweeted a May 31, 2021 tweet that said: “A Palestinian kid with a stone will single-handedly ratio this mf [motherf**ker].” The tweet referred to a cartoon of Israel’s Iron Dome personified as a superhero.
The Iron Dome is an Israeli missile defense system designed to intercept and destroy rockets and artillery shells.
Denying the Jewish Connection to Israel
On May 15, 2021, Elsaad tweeted: “...how come Israel continues to destroy the land and its indigenous people, the Palestinians? Well for starters, they are foreigners to their land. Most if not all have their roots in the European ancestors.”One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Israeli Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites.
This claim alleges that Israeli Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel. The Khazar myth is a common version of this claim which is used to delegitimize [00:02:16] the existence of the modern State of Israel.
Also, on May 15, 2021, in the same thread, Elsaad tweeted: “...they feel no remorse when they burn the land, destroy the vegetation, and over all cause corruption on Earth.”
Elsaad retweeted a June 16, 2021 tweet that said: “‘From the River to the Sea’ is a call for full decolonization. If your home was stolen, you’d want all of it back, not just a sliver of one room.”
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is a chant calling to dismantle the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state.
Supporting BDS
Elsaad retweeted a May 19, 2021 tweet that said: “i just wanted to remind everyone that the official palestine BDS movement only lists a total of 8 brands to boycott (puma, AXA, HP, soda stream, ahava, sabra, pillsbury, israeli produce) to maximize impact !! the other long lists are important but they are NOT the target of BDS!”Elsaad retweeted a May 21, 2021 tweet that said: “One of the best things you can do to support Palestinians is to join the BDS effort. Boycott these companies that support Israeli war crimes. Economic pressure is CRUCIAL. We all know money talks when it comes to politics.”
Elsaad also retweeted a June 3, 2021 tweet with an AJ+ video of Charles Pillsbury calling for a boycott of Pillsbury baked goods because of their production [00:00:19] “on occupied territory” by the General Mills factory, which he described [00:00:29] as a “sweatshop.”
General Mills was the target of a BDS campaign for operating a factory manufacturing Pillsbury products in east Jerusalem’s Atarot Industrial Zone. Around 50 percent of the General Mills Pillsbury factory’s employees are Palestinian. On May 31, 2022, General Mills announced that it divested its stake in its Israeli company.
High School Anti-Semitism
On May 2, 2017, Elsaad tweeted: “@Israel…Congratulations on being the apitomy of what Hitler intended to do against all of europe.”The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.
On November 23, 2016, Elsaad tweeted: “I.hate zionist. They are pigs with no souls. F**k every zionist. Zionism is just another form of nazism.”
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
On August 12, 2016, Elsaad tweeted, referring to Israel: “...Palestinians have suffered this holocaust from these so called ‘democracy of the middle east’ for over 65 years.”
In the same thread, Elsaad tweeted: “...Israeli are he ones that go in he middle of the night and are [our] people to concentration camps.”

Ramadan is an Islamic holy month during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset and are meant to engage in self-reflection, repentance and the giving of charity. Ramadan is frequently marked by increased anti-Israel and antisemitic rhetoric throughout the Arab world, Palestinian violence in Israel and heightened tensions centered in the Old City of Jerusalem.
High School Support of Hamas

”Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
