Amber Rahman
Amber Rahman [Amber Fatima Rahman] has called for intifada and spread hatred of Israel. She is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Rahman's anti-Israel activism took place during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.
Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds more that day. For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
As of November 2024, Rahman was an activist with the anti-Israel campus group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).
As of April 2025, Rahman was listed as the contact person for the New Jersey chapter of the anti-Israel group Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
As of June 2025, Rahman was listed as having graduated from Princeton University (Princeton) in 2025.
As of the same date, Rahman's Instagram indicated that she was located in New York, New York.
On September 5, 2024, during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists, Rahman gave [00:01:26] an interview for the NJ Spotlight News about her anti-Israel activism while at Princeton.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.

In the interview, Amber Rahman said [00:01:26], referring to Princeton's anti-Israel encampment: "This is not unique to Princeton. Universities across the country are trying to suppress the powerful student intifada that started on campuses last spring!"
The term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” carries the connotation of violence. Palestinian intifadas waged against Israel have been marked since 1987 by hundreds of hijackings, shootings, stabbings, bombings and suicide missions.
Amber Rahman then said [00:02:05]: "The fact that they have changed their policies is a sign that they are scared and that they are threatened by the power of our activism and the power of the student intifada across the country!"
On October 16, 2024, Rahman wrote an article for the Institute for Palestine Studies (IPS), titled: "Explainer: The Role of AI in Israel's Genocidal Campaign Against Palestinians."
In the article, Rahman wrote: "Israel isn't trying to ethnically cleanse one particular gender or age group: it is targeting all Palestinians."
Rahman also quoted an author who wrote that "the transformation of Gaza into a laboratory for colonial and imperial hegemony in the region is made in Israel."
SJP is the leading student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses. The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian, who has spread anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campus campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks and pushing the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, and SJP chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for terrorists.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
