Terror Support (Hamas)
Diabas retweeted an October 31, 2018 tweet that said: “13-yr-old #Palestinian Ahmed Manasara on way home unarmed when an #Israeli death squad hero shot him & left him bleeding before others taunted, mocked &cursed him. See his INTERROGATION to force him to admit to a crime he did not commit.”
Ahmed Manasra (sometimes spelled Mansara) and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan went on a stabbing spree in Jerusalem on October 12, 2015, during the Knife Intifada. They critically wounded a 13-year-old boy and moderately wounded a 25-year-old man. The spree ended when police shot Hassan and a passing motorist hit Ahmed. Ahmed was taken to an Israeli hospital. He admitted to investigators: “I went there to stab Jews.” He was later tried and convicted on two counts of attempted murder.
On September 19, 2017, Diabas tweeted an image of a driver and passenger in a car facing the Dome of the Rock, which is on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount and near the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The passenger in the image held a rifle. A picture of Ayatollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, appeared on the car's dashboard.
The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state. Such propaganda has led to multiple periods of violence against Israeli civilians.
The “Dignity Strike” was a hunger strike initiated on April 16, 2017, by Marwan Barghouti, the terrorist who financed the guitar-case bomb used in the Sbarro Cafe bombing. More than 1,000 other Palestinian prisoners participated in the hunger strike, most of whom were also incarcerated for acts of terrorism.
Hatred of Israel
Diabas retweeted a May 10, 2021 tweet that said: “blacklist me, ban me, cancel me.. I will never be silent when it comes to ethnic cleansing, genocide and many other human rights violations that have been plaguing my people for almost a century. FREE PALESTINE ~ #SaveSheikhJarrah.
In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
Diabas retweeted a January 28, 2020 tweet that quoted Ghassan Kanafani as saying: “they steal your bread, then give you a crumb of it…then they demand you to thank them for their generosity.” The tweet was referring to the plan tendered by then-U.S. president Donald Trump to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.
Diabas was responding to a tweet by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau denouncing violence and anti-Semitic chants that broke out [00:00:41] at a November 20, 2019 pro-Israel event at York University.
In November 2019, Israel launched Operation Black Belt to stop rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel. From November 12 to November 14, 2019, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group sent hundreds of rockets into Israel, targeting major civilian population centers.

He included a tweet by U.S. president Joe Biden expressing support for Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism.

BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
