Adham Asi
Overview
Adham Asi is a gun enthusiast, has expressed a desire to join the Hamas terror group and praised his terrorist cousin, Mohammed Assi, who was an operative of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).Asi has also spread anti-Semitism, expressed support for violence and promoted hatred of Israel and Israelis.
As of January 2023, Asi’s LinkedIn page said he was pursuing a master’s degree in accounting at the University of Texas, Arlington (UT Arlington), due to graduate in 2023. His LinkedIn page also said he graduated from UT Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2021.
As of the same date, Asi’s LinkedIn said he was the owner of “Progressive Financial Services,” a “Growing Accounting firm” based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, since January 2019.
In 2019, Asi indicated on Instagram that he was affiliated with the Muslim Student Association (MSA) at UT Arlington.
As of January 2023, Asi went by the username “...ادهم [Adham]” and used the handle “@AdhamAsi7” on Twitter. As of the same date, Asi went by the username “Adham Asi” and used the handle “@ad_jj” on Instagram.
During Asi’s pre-university years, he praised Hitler, spread anti-Semitism and expressed support for Hamas and terrorism.
Gun Enthusiast
On June 16, 2018, Asi tweeted a photo of himself holding a rifle. In the same thread, he posted a video of a handgun being shot at a target.On February 15, 2018, Asi tweeted a photo of himself holding an assault rifle.
On July 2, 2015, Asi tweeted a photo of himself holding a rifle in a shooting position and wrote: “Fwm [f**k with me] yo.”

.”Expressing a Desire to Join Hamas
On November 24, 2013, Asi tweeted: “I really want to join Hamas!”Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
Hamas's founding charter calls for the murder of Jews, while the terror group’s “summer camps” have taught children how to wage war.
Also on November 24, 2013, Asi tweeted: “Inshallah [With God's help] one day I'll be a part of you #hamas #F**kIsrael.” His tweet featured a photo of an armed Hamas terrorist standing on an Israeli flag.
On November 27, 2013, Asi tweeted: “What's your dream job? — Hamas.”
On August 26, 2014, Asi tweeted: “I love you Hamas F**k Israel.”
On the same day, Asi tweeted: “And Again raise your flag up high to show the enemy who we really are
#Hamas #FreePalestine #WeMadeIt.” Asi’s tweet included a photo of two figures holding up a green Hamas flag.On September 1, 2014, Asi tweeted a photo of five armed Hamas militants and wrote: “Mashallah [Allah willing]
.”On March 31, 2016, Asi tweeted photos of himself waving a Hamas flag, throwing rocks and firing slingshots.
Praising Terrorist Cousin (PIJ)
On February 12, 2015, Asi tweeted: “Love you cuz #Rip [rest in peace] #shaheed [martyr].”Asi’s tweet featured a photo of his cousin, Mohammed Assi, who had helped orchestrate a November 21, 2012, Tel Aviv passenger bus bombing that injured 28 Israeli civilians. Assi was an operative for the PIJ terrorist organization. Hamas also claimed Assi as a member.
PIJ is a terror group whose objective is the destruction of the State of Israel and the establishment of a sovereign, Islamic Palestinian state. PIJ is backed by Iran and has killed dozens of Israelis in suicide bombings and other attacks.
Assi was killed in October 2013 after he opened fire at Israeli forces when they tried to arrest him.

Hatred of Israel and Israelis
On May 14, 2018, Asi tweeted: “It’s sad how before every Ramadan Israel does something to torture the Palestinians knowing they’re going in to the holy month... that’s sad.”In May 2018, terror group Hamas instigated violent riots on the Israeli-Gaza border. Thousands of rioters attempted to breach Israel’s border fence, declaring their intention to harm Jews across the border under the pretext of “peaceful resistance.”
On May 16, 2018, a Hamas senior official, Salah al-Bardawil, stated that 50 out of 62 protesters killed during the May 14 Gaza border protest were Hamas operatives. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also claimed that three of its members were killed at the same protest.
In January 2017, Asi’s Twitter cover photo featured a burning Israeli flag.

On August 2, 2014, Asi tweeted an image resembling the KFC logo, but overlaid with a photo of Hitler and captioned: “KFJ KENTUCKY FRIED JEWS.”

Pre-University Terror Support (PFLP, Hamas)
On November 18, 2014, Asi tweeted, referring to the Har Nof synagogue massacre: “2 Palestinians walk into a Jewish temple with axes and kill 7 and injure 10
#FreePalestine #Jerusalem.”On November 18, 2014, two terrorists murdered six people with a gun, axes and a butcher knife in a Jerusalem synagogue during morning prayers. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group claimed credit for the attack, which left five Jewish men dead along with a Druze police officer. The terrorists, who were killed during the attack, were motivated by the libel that Israel threatened to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
On November 15, 2014, five days before the massacre, Asi tweeted: “Hamas y'all got this #protectTheAqsa #LetTheGamesBegin.”
The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state. Such propaganda has led to multiple periods of violence against Israeli civilians.
On August 4, 2014, Asi tweeted, referring to a Palestinian terror attack, writing: “@AlArabiya_Eng: BREAKING: One Israeli killed in excavator attack on #Jerusalem bus: medics” one Arab dead 2 Jews dead.”

Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

On July 21, 2014, Asi tweeted a photo of two armed Hamas terrorists standing at the front of a Hamas rally with a large crowd of Hamas supporters holding Hamas flags. Asi wrote: “
#Palestine.”On May 17, 2014, Asi tweeted a photo of Hamas founder and spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Asi wrote: “‘...An amazing picture of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin [رحمه الله [May Allah have mercy on him]]. #FreePalestine #Palestine #legend.’”
Sheikh Ahmed Yassin has been described as the “mastermind of Palestinian terror” behind many suicide bombings against Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes during the second intifada. In January 2003, Yassin said in an interview: “Suicide attacks and jihad reinforce national unity in the ranks…Our voice is one of struggle, of jihad and of suicide…”
On November 30, 2013, Asi tweeted: “If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy? — Missiles to bomb tf [the f**k] out of Israel!…”
MSA
The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."
The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.
The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
