Adam Attia
Adam Attia [Adam Alaa Attia] expressed support for an anti-Israel agitator who was arrested for disrupting a job fair at Temple University in 2024 (Temple).
Attia's anti-Israel activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.
Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds more that day.
As of May 2025, Adam Attia was listed as the legal director of the Philadelphia chapter of the terror-linked anti-Israel group Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
CAIR reportedly has “significant ties” to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and Hamas. A number of former CAIR employees have been convicted on fraud and terrorism-related charges that resulted monetary fines, jail terms and, sometimes, deportation. In May 2007, CAIR was listed as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a U.S.-filed action against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) for providing funds to Hamas. CAIR was also listed as a terrorist entity by the United Arab Emirates, in 2014.
As of May 2025, Adam Attia's LinkedIn profile said he worked as an attorney at Attia Law Firm.
Also as of May 2025, Adam Attia was listed online as a professor at the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) for spring 2025.
As of the same date, Adam Attia's LinkedIn said he received a JD from Drexel University (Drexel)'s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2018.
As of the same date, Adam Attia's LinkedIn said he was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
On October 3, 2024, during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists, Adam Attia expressed support for Johara Shamaa, an anti-Israel agitator who had been arrested on September 26, 2024, for leading the disruption of a career fair at Temple.
The disruption was organized by the anti-Israel campus group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).
Adam Attia responded to Shamaa's arrest by saying in a press conference organized by CAIR that the group was "pursuing all legal options" against the Philadelphia and Temple police departments for alleged "groping and brutality."
Temple responded to the incident with a statement that said: “[What] occurred last week was not a peaceful protest…It was a major disruption to an event intended to help students find jobs and internships…As a result of the aggressive protesting, several visiting employers were escorted from the space for their safety and students were denied an opportunity to engage with potential employers – some students left the event entirely."
The statement also alleged that “several protestors pushed and shoved officers when police attempted to 'lawfully' detain the leader of protest.”
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.
