• Rashida Tlaib
  • At the end of January 2024, Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was one of two members of the House of Representatives to vote against the “No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act,” a bill to prevent Hamas members and associates from entering the United States.

  • Fellow “Squad” member Cori Bush (D-MO) was the other representative who voted against the bill.

In a statement explaining her vote, Tlaib made the disingenuous claim that she voted against the bill because it “is redundant with already existing federal law.” Yet, Tlaib knew this wasn’t true. The bill expands the existing law to include members of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), as well as anyone involved in the October 7 attack who is not a member of a terror group.

Attempting to further excuse herself for voting against the bill, Tlaib claimed victimhood, accusing the legislation, which enjoyed vast bipartisan support, of being “just another GOP messaging bill being used to incite anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred that makes communities like ours unsafe.

  • TLAIB’S MANIPULATION OF FACTS TO SUIT HER ANTI-ISRAEL, PRO-HAMAS NARRATIVE

  • Tlaib has a history of manipulating facts to fit her anti-Israel narrative. In mid-October 2023, when the media jumped on a report that Israel “bombed” a hospital in Gaza, Tlaib was front and center, crying for the cameras about the supposed incident.

  • Very quickly, the facts became known. The “bombing” came from an errant rocket misfired by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group in Gaza. The rocket hit the hospital’s parking lot.

Yet, Tlaib’s overwrought tweet about the event, in which she relied on propaganda generated by Hamas, still remains on her official X (Twitter) feed. “Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” she wrote.

At the same time, Tlaib didn’t shed a tear for the Israeli victims of the October 7 massacre. In fact, Tlaib pointedly refused to even condemn the massacre when asked by a reporter at the Capitol. Instead, Tlaib’s response – just 10 days after the massacre – was to propose a House resolution for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

  • Rashida Tlaib
  • It was well known at the time (and remains true today) that a ceasefire would give Hamas the opportunity to regroup in order to commit more attacks against Israelis, which they openly state is their goal.

In early November 2023, the House of Representatives censured Tlaib for “dangerously promoting false narratives regarding a brutal, large-scale terrorist attack” against Israel and calling for Israel's destruction.

  • TLAIB’S CONNECTIONS TO HAMAS

  • Between October and November 2023, Canary Mission exposed Tlaib’s connections to Hamas, confirming that at least 6 Hamas-linked activists co-hosted fundraisers for her 2018 congressional campaign.

  • Mwafaq Jbara
  • Rafeeq Jaber
  • Salah Sarsour
  • Sheikh Muhammad Qatanani
  • huwaida Arraf
  • In addition to her connections to Hamas, Tlaib has many more connections to Palestinian terrorists, including:

  • The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). In 2015, Tlaib co-founded The Black4Palestine activist group. The group worked publicly with terrorists from the PFLP no less than 8 times from 2016 to 2020.

  • Fatah activist Mazen Dola. In 2019, Dola was a guest of honor at Tlaib’s swearing-in ceremony.

  • PAC-USA and its founder Maher Abdelqader. Tlaib used the pro-terror Facebook page, PAC-USA, to raise funds for her 2018 Congressional campaign. Abdelqader, the founder of PAC-USA and administrator of the page, is a close confidante of Tlaib. He was the chair of her finance committee and promoted 12 fundraisers in eight states for Tlaib.

  • After the Israeli government killed a known cell of PIJ terrorists in Jenin planning an October 7 attack in Judea and Samaria, Tlaib tweeted: “...We honor the victims of the Jenin massacre by telling the truth about the apartheid gov’t.”

  • The question must be asked based on Tlaib’s history: Does the congresswoman want Hamas terrorists in America?
