Congresswoman Cori Bush’s Antisemitism Problem
Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO) has professed her commitment to “dismantling antisemitism,” yet her close association and friendship with one of St. Louis’ well-known and virulent antisemites, Neveen Ayesh, tells a different story.
Who Is Neveen Ayesh
Neveen Ayesh is a notorious antisemite, an anti-Israel activist and terrorist supporter. She is the government relations coordinator for American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), a prominent anti-Israel organization known for its controversial links to terror organizations.
Ayesh has made public her hatred of Jews, her support for terror groups (including Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the PFLP), and her desire for the destruction of Israel.

*Since Canary Mission’s original expose of Ayesh in 2017, Ayesh has deleted many of her social media posts. Canary Mission has screenshots of every post that can be found in the image gallery in her profile.
Cori Bush’s Connection to Neveen Ayesh
Cori Bush has been associated with Neveen Ayesh since at least 2017, when they attended an anti-Israel event together. By 2018, they were documenting their friendship on Facebook.
The 2020 fundraiser that Ayesh held for Bush took place just months after Ayesh was publicly exposed for her antisemitism and lying to Missouri’s state legislature while testifying against Missouri’s then-proposed anti-BDS legislation.
While Ayesh testified to the Missouri legislature that she had “befriended” Jews and that “some of them are the closest people to me today,” her Twitter feed told a different story – that, in reality, she had a long-standing disgust for Jews and desired to kill all Israelis.
