Adam Salti

Overview

Adam Salti has spread anti-Semitism, whitewashed terrorists, and equated Israel with Nazi Germany. Salti has also promoted anti-Israel conspiracy theories, demonized Israel and spread hatred of America.

Salti graduated from Olmsted Falls High School (Olmsted Falls) in Ohio, in 2014.

As of May 2018, Salti indicated on Twitter that he worked in a hospital. As of November 2020, Salti indicated on Facebook that he still worked in health-care.

Salti tweeted that he interacted with patients on a regular basis, from January through May of 2016.

On June 4, 2016, Salti posted a picture of himself on Facebook in hospital scrubs and a neck-band imprinted with the Metro Health Medical Center logo.

As of December 2019, Salti indicated on Facebook that he was working for A&W Wrestling, located in Cleveland, OH.

Spreading Anti-Semitism

On February 13, 2017, Salti shared to Facebook a link to an article that alleged “theRothschilds are commonly believed to have engineered WWI” and that the family forced the British government to sign the Balfour Declaration.

Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”

The 1917 Balfour Declaration favored the establishment of a Jewish National home in British Mandate Palestine.

On December 23, 2014, Salti tweeted: “Hollywood= Controlled by Jews.”

On October 15, 2014, Salti tweeted: “F**kin jew get your a** out of here.”

Whitewashing Terrorists

On October 12, 2015, Salti tweeted, referring to Ahmed Manasra: “IS IT NOT ENOUGH THAT A ZIONIST FROM ISREAL SHOP A 14 YEAR OLD AND STOOD BY HIS BODY AND WATCHED HIM AND TOLD HIM TO DIE AND CURSED AT HIM.”

In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.

Ahmed Manasra (sometimes spelled Mansara) and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan went on a stabbing spree in Jerusalem on October 12, 2015, during the Knife Intifada. They critically wounded a 13-year-old boy and moderately wounded a 25-year-old man. The spree ended when police shot Hassan and a passing motorist hit Ahmed. Ahmed was taken to an Israeli hospital. He admitted to investigators: “I went there to stab Jews.” He was later tried and convicted on two counts of attempted murder.

On September 18, 2019, Salti shared a post to Facebook that stated: “Israeli soldiers open fire at Palestinian lady at Qalandya military checkpoint in northern occupied Jerusalem!

” Salti also attached a photo and two short videos of the woman getting shot.

On September 18, 2019, a Palestinian terrorist entered a car lane on foot at Qalandiya checkpoint and attempted to stab Israeli security personnel before she was shot.

Equating Israel with Nazi Germany

On August 1, 2020, Salti tweeted a photo of Holocaust victim Anne Frank and commented: “And the same people they were prosecuted nd welcomed by the Palestinians started prosecuting palestians and murdering them while thanking their land…”

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.

On July 11, 2020, Salti posted to Facebook: “Lol so hypocritical we still have to be reminded about the holocaust when the same people who were prosecuted and killed because of their race are doing the same to PALESTINIANS!!!” Salti linked to an article titled: “Eagles' DeSean Jackson Meets with 94-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor.”

On July 6, 2020, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson had promoted on Instagram a quote falsely attributed to Adolf Hitler that claimed Jewish people will "blackmail" and "extort America" as part of a plan to take over the world.

As part of an effort to learn more about the history of anti-Semitism, following anti-Semitic posts he made earlier on social media, Jackson met with a group combatting anti-Semitism and with a 94-year-old Holocaust survivor, Edward Mosberg.

On July 14, 2014, Salti tweeted: “Saying that isreal is a victim is like saying that Hitler acted in self defense.”

Promoting Anti-Israel Conspiracy Theories

On December 25, 2015, Salti tweeted: “ISIS is less than 60 miles away from isreal yet never attacks them...but travels all the way out to Paris to kill innocents? Hmmm.”

On November 16, 2015, Salti tweeted:”How come ISIS never attacks isreal....hmm and how come they have such names that people can easily remember like goes by those names.”

On August 11, 2014, Salti tweeted a link to a satirical youtube video that presented snippets of footage doctored to give the impression that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu called publicly for maximizing civilian casualties with the approval of Hillary Clinton, then-U.S. Secretary of State.

The video was first aired as part of a satirical segment of the Netherlands-based television show De Wereld Draait Door, on November 21, 2012.

Salti’s tweet presented the video as if it represented fact, commenting:“F**k America for just letting this guy say this like its ok you guys are isreals b**ch.”

Demonizing Israel

On December 7, 2015, Salti tweeted: “The people in charge of ISIS and Isreal may get away with it in this life but when Allah is the knly one left existing he will be the one.”

On October 29, 2014, Salti tweeted: “Isreal is not letting Palestinians ride the bus to work? Does this sound familiar…”

Spreading Hatred of America

Salti retweeted a March 21, 2017 tweet that read: “You can't take a laptop on a flight to the US but the US is free to fly jets full of bombs into the Middle East. That's balance for you.”

On March 10, 2016, Salti tweeted: “America is so worried about other countries historical past and present they forget about the blood on their hands that they try to get rid.”

On September 11, 2015, Salti tweeted: “America wants you to remember 9/11 but wants you to forget about all the innocents that we're killed and slaved and the innocents that were.”

On November 9, 2014, Salti tweeted: “America land of the free....more like land of the fake.”

On July 17, 2014, Salti tweeted: “Can't believe what the U.S just said on the radio…‘If Israel is at war we are at war’ ya make sure u dont miss those 4 yr old terrorists.”
